  • Fantastic Property!!!

"Myself and a few other couples stayed at this house for a week in March and it was beyond amazing! We kept every window and door open on the main floor to have a constant breeze and we were never uncomfortable. The pool was always a great temperature, and was very clean. The rooms were spacious and air-conditioned and the Jack and Jill bathroom was great! Every morning we sat on the patio for breakfast and watched monkeys run along side the house. There was a short 3 minute walk to Turtle Beach that was basically our own private beach, that included a dock that could be used to fish on. Also nearby was Reggae Beach Bar that we walked to, but you could also drive, and it was definitely worth the 10 minute walk. Fantastic bar, beach and employees. Over all i would highly recommend staying at this house! We had no complaints!"

  • A Gem

"Our stay at Buena Vista was form March 25th - April 1st. We were so sad to leave this beautiful little paradise with its sweeping views and sounds of the waves hitting the shore. It is just what you hope for when booking a place to stay on the island. We were greeted on the balcony each morning by a pair of songbirds looking for bread crumbs. One day a monkey sat on the balcony railing while a small lizard darted under my foot. The villa is private and peaceful and so, so relaxing. We didn't need the air conditioning; we just fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Beware of Sunday nights however, when the music from the strip finds its way up to your balcony. We had to close the glass doors that night! Bill & Simone have done a great job of anticipating everything you might need, and it is all there. Everything works and the unit was quite comfortable and pretty too! We spent several hours sitting in the gazebo watching the pelicans glide by. The path to the water is steep but quite manageable. We didn't swim right there, because the rocks looked too slippery, but in a matter of minutes we were swimming in the warm waters of South Frigate Bay. The best thing about our wonderful vacation was staying here. When you have a place like this to call home, you don't really need to go out much!"

  • Beautiful location, snorkeling beach, felt safe, house very nice but could use updates. Relaxing

"The location is right next to Nisbet plantation so you can use the beach bar and dine at their facilities. House is on Northeast side of island so beach is nice and sandy but gets rocky a few feet in at places. Great for snorkeling(I saw a huge stingray), but not too great for playing near shore as there are a lot of sea urchins and you don't want to step on them. Some locals say they catch lobster but you have to venture out near the reef (per the locals). The home itself is very nice with a great breeze which is very relaxing at night. There is AC in two bedrooms. There is occasional issue with hot water although surprisingly this did not bother us as it was nice to cool off in a luke warm shower. Some of the windows needed to be held open with boards, but again this did not bother us. The house is secure with good locks and bars on the windows so that you can leave them open at night and feel secure and enjoy the great breeze. I mention all the above in case someone expects an "opulent luxury home", this is not. This is a great beachfront home and a great place to relax, walk the beach, read, cook, drink, recharge the batteries. The pool is nice. Nevis is a unique island with free roaming cows, goats, donkeys and monkeys. If you are caucasian, you will be a minority on the island but, the people are very friendly. During the daytime we always felt safe venturing out, unlike some other islands(Jamaica). My wife and I and our three daughters had one of the best vacations ever here. Nisbet and the surrounding area is not crowded. This was a pleasant and unique adventure for our family and we would vacation here again."

"The vast space of the property entwined with the layout and the ambience during the day and night will stay with me. Simply superb. Everything in it's place. It was home away from home in cleanliness apart from the the weather. The weather greeted me with it's hot climate and the Crimson House greeted me with it's high end facillities. Having come back a week ago I am holding onto memories of my vacation. Sun, sand sea whilst residing at Crimson House this is a prescription for a happy and memorable stay. I need a repeat prescription! The villa sleeps six people, there were two who stayed here so the space was more than sufficient. All bedrooms were spacious with double beds and the cream of the crop, the master bedroom was given to my sister as she needed the vacation just that little bit more than me as she cares for our mother and had not had a break in 5 years. If I could paint or draw I would have captured the views from the verander using paper and pencil. Alas I can't but every morning and evening I practised my Yoga poses and these are the memories I keep with me. How sublime was it to light candles and enjoy a home cooked supper and meditate. Bliss. The whole ambience was set. It's the type of person you are that will make you come back home to the UK and say you went either on holiday OR come back and say.. my stay at Crimson House was an experience. Thank You and we salute you Mr. James Brown for allowing us to experience a holiday of a lifetime. Sunshines, the bar and restaurant we sought to go to has a drink that if you go you should at least take one glass of.. 'Killer Bee'. Folk law has it that you may not remember events after consumed, which is why as ladies we transferred it into an empty bottle and consumed it back at Crimson House where we would be close to our beds.
