  • Picturesque

"My family and I stayed at Simon Lewis's 2 Bdrm Apartment from March 31, 2016 through April 8th. The 2 Bdrms are formed by joining a 1 Bdrm apartment with an adjoining studio room, and combined they are one entire floor in one of the buildings you can see in the pictures. I can honestly say this is the nicest property we have ever stayed, and Simon's apartment is perfectly located overlooking the pool and marina. You can walk from the pool to Simon's apartment in 30 seconds. This property is definitely high end, and is void of all the typical annoyances that come with normal vacation rentals (e.g. people reserving pool chairs when they are not in the pool, checking towels in and out, etc). The staff is very friendly, and they make a point of learning your names. They also go the extra mile by bringing you bottled water while at the pool, along with a couple of rounds of complimentary drinks (in shot glasses) during the day. There is no "check out time", you leave your room when it is time for you to go to the airport to catch your flight. Marigot Bay is truly picturesque, with the Northern half being mostly undeveloped. There are 6 restaurants around the bay (or very nearby), not including the Capella. Overall I would rate the food as good, but not fantastic (the food at the Capella was probably the best), and prices are high but not outrageous as at some other islands. The road conditions are really bad, so if you haven't been to St. Lucia before you absolutely do not want to rent a car from the airport and try to find the Capella. I rented a car with help from my "personal assistant" at the Capella, and it was quite reasonable. I also did not find this to be the best island for beaches or snorkeling. However, the people on the island are very friendly, and if you like the contrasting scenery of a mountainous island and clear blue Caribbean water, this is the place for you. All-in-all this is an outstanding property, and Simon is renting it at a very reasonable price for what you get. This is also the easiest rental process I every had through VRBO. Thank you Simon!!!"

  • We felt like we had come home

"My husband and I visited Nature's Paradise over the holidays in 2011 and had such fond memories of the trip we booked a repeat visit over the last Christmas holidays. We were not disappointed! It felt like coming home! The grounds of NP are lush with tropical gardens cultivated by Wanda and the views from the main house's veranda and the pool are spectacular. Wanda's weekday breakfasts are full of tropical fruit and local breads and coffee. David and Wanda are still the consummate hosts we remember. Their local knowledge is unparalleled. They are happy to assist with small details like car rentals (4 wheel drive highly recommended) and dinner reservations to make your visit as seamless as possible and they enthusiastically share ideas for things to do on island from crashing swanky beaches (all beaches in St. Lucia are open to the public), to hiking above the rainforest, to great snorkeling spots. We highly recommend allowing David to guide you on the Soufrière trip early in your stay as it not only gives you a great introduction to the island, but is also a lovely day all around. As before, we stayed in Banana Cottage and loved the space with fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea. We highly recommend NP!"

  • Castle on the Sea

"What a marvelous home!! So much room all through the house. Incredible view!! Each bedroom has its own French doors to the veranda. Plus the same off the kitchen and living area. How nice! Very comfortable beds. Maid service was great. The breeze coming in off the ocean was wonderful! Kitchen is FULLY equipped or lots of great restaurants close by or have the property manager bring in a private chef for a truly authentic island meal. The pool just across the driveway was ALL ours every day. Very close to the airport, beach with wind surfing lessons and the most fun little bars on the beach. Only a few minutes from the grocery store. Driving on the left side is a "hoot". Roof top star gazing was "out of this world". Can't wait to return!! Sooo relaxing!!"

  • Beautiful View!

"My sis in-law, hubby and I, recently stayed here. Highly recommend this secluded villa, beautiful décor and all amenities one can think of. We decided to do our own thing, rent a car and tour the island ourselves. With the excellent welcome and guidance from the Managers, we found our way around quickly. We were there in June and the mosquitoes were bad. Left with many bug bites, so it's important to wear some guard. No netting on the windows. We bought our own groceries and picked fresh pineapple, coconut and cashews from the garden. It's an adventure and a getaway for those who want a taste of authentic St Lucia."
