  • The Best Week Ever!

"Myself and 11 of my friends stayed at Colibri Cottage and had the time of our lives! The house is incredible! More than enough space for all 12 of us with room to spare! The VIEW was like nothing I have ever seen! We were in town for a wedding so we ventured to other hotels and villas visiting friends and I have to say ours was the best! Our housekeepers and gardener were the friendliest and most accommodating people we met while in Soufriere, just the best! The short walk to town was perfect for us and the pool was heavenly. We will definitely be back!"

  • Wonderful place to stay

"This place is amazing. It's very comfortable and relaxing. The view of the Caribbean is great. Having a private pool is the best! John and his local staff are wonderful. They will take care of whatever you need. John answered all our questions and made our trip easier. We rented a car which was delivered right to the villa. We were close to great restaurants, beaches and Rodney Bay Marina. If you're looking for something quiet and with privacy, this is it! We ate breakfast every morning on the veranda with an amazing view of the Caribbean. Also, the sunsets are gorgeous whether your relaxing in the pool or lounging on the veranda. The housekeeper Luenda and on island agent Ena are very friendly and very helpful. Luenda will even cook you a meal or shop for you. We even arranged for a couples massage on the veranda which was so relaxing. This place has incredible charm and is the perfect place for that romantic trip where you can avoid the masses. Overall, this was an incredible honeymoon for my wife and I. Thanks John for having it available. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime."

  • Complete Paradise!

"Let me start by saying that the Hummingbird Villa is a wonderful place to stay. My family and I headed to St. Lucia this year to celebrate the holidays, and when we arrived at the villa we were immediately impressed. Not only is it in a safe and beautiful neighborhood filled with lush trees and flowers, but from the moment you drive into the property you are absolutely blown away by the home’s various views. No matter what window you look out of, you will see beautifully dense trees and flowers, and the ocean! The villa also has a great set of upper and lower deck/balconies. We ended each night relaxing out on the deck, which we all really enjoyed after being out all day exploring the island. And if we were not out on the main deck, you would have found us by the pool! The pool was a perfect size, the water was warm, and it's surrounded by (again) beautiful trees and flowers; it has a very private feel to it, which was great. The house was also more spacious than we expected. We had a total of 6 people staying in the villa and there was always a place in the house to escape to, which is, let’s be honest, required when traveling with family. So just know there is plenty of room around the house and property to do just that. Another important aspect about the house was its location. We had a rental car, and from the house it seemed as if you could get nearly anywhere you could possibly imagine going very quickly. We fell in love with the beach in Smugglers Cove located below the Cap Maison hotel. It’s a fairly small beach, set in-between beautiful cliffs, however it was never overly crowded. It was absolutely beautiful (and clean) and took about 5 minutes to get to from the house (there is also street parking right by the stairs that take you down to the beach). There’s also a restaurant right on the beach called The Naked Fisherman. I can’t even remember how many times we ate there, it’s amazing (order the fish n’ chips)! The villa is also about a 10 minute drive to Rodney Bay, where there are little shops and restaurants. It’s also a little less than 10 minutes to The Landing’s Hotel, which had a great beach where the waves were small and consistent. The hotel also has a ton of water activities that you can pay to do, including wake-boarding, waterskiing, jet skiing, parasailing, and even water jet packs. Overall, we highly recommend the Hummingbird Villa! You'll love both it and St. Lucia!"

  • Loved our stay in this villa!

"We found this villa to be in an excellent location within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, the marina, etc. It was beautifully decorated and met all of our needs. We did have a problem with the refrigerator when we arrived, but Reid was very quick to get a repairman onsite to do some repairs. Later in the week we found the air conditioning unit not working in the second bedroom and again, Reid was quick to get someone out there to take a look at it. Unfortunately, it needs to be replaced and that is not something that is quick to do. So, the second bedroom was quite warm in the evening. But, everything else was wonderful! We loved the pool (so handy to be just outside of our door). Everything was clean and well kept. We loved St Lucia and loved the villa. We used Paradise Taxi for transfers to the airport and other excursions. We found Stevenson to be very responsive to our needs. Perfect location!"
