  • Picturesque

"My family and I stayed at Simon Lewis's 2 Bdrm Apartment from March 31, 2016 through April 8th. The 2 Bdrms are formed by joining a 1 Bdrm apartment with an adjoining studio room, and combined they are one entire floor in one of the buildings you can see in the pictures. I can honestly say this is the nicest property we have ever stayed, and Simon's apartment is perfectly located overlooking the pool and marina. You can walk from the pool to Simon's apartment in 30 seconds. This property is definitely high end, and is void of all the typical annoyances that come with normal vacation rentals (e.g. people reserving pool chairs when they are not in the pool, checking towels in and out, etc). The staff is very friendly, and they make a point of learning your names. They also go the extra mile by bringing you bottled water while at the pool, along with a couple of rounds of complimentary drinks (in shot glasses) during the day. There is no "check out time", you leave your room when it is time for you to go to the airport to catch your flight. Marigot Bay is truly picturesque, with the Northern half being mostly undeveloped. There are 6 restaurants around the bay (or very nearby), not including the Capella. Overall I would rate the food as good, but not fantastic (the food at the Capella was probably the best), and prices are high but not outrageous as at some other islands. The road conditions are really bad, so if you haven't been to St. Lucia before you absolutely do not want to rent a car from the airport and try to find the Capella. I rented a car with help from my "personal assistant" at the Capella, and it was quite reasonable. I also did not find this to be the best island for beaches or snorkeling. However, the people on the island are very friendly, and if you like the contrasting scenery of a mountainous island and clear blue Caribbean water, this is the place for you. All-in-all this is an outstanding property, and Simon is renting it at a very reasonable price for what you get. This is also the easiest rental process I every had through VRBO. Thank you Simon!!!"

  • Loved our stay in this villa!

"We found this villa to be in an excellent location within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, the marina, etc. It was beautifully decorated and met all of our needs. We did have a problem with the refrigerator when we arrived, but Reid was very quick to get a repairman onsite to do some repairs. Later in the week we found the air conditioning unit not working in the second bedroom and again, Reid was quick to get someone out there to take a look at it. Unfortunately, it needs to be replaced and that is not something that is quick to do. So, the second bedroom was quite warm in the evening. But, everything else was wonderful! We loved the pool (so handy to be just outside of our door). Everything was clean and well kept. We loved St Lucia and loved the villa. We used Paradise Taxi for transfers to the airport and other excursions. We found Stevenson to be very responsive to our needs. Perfect location!"

  • EVERYTHING……and more!!!!

"My husband and I had had it with the NY Winter of 2015, so booked a whole month on St Lucia. The Coco View Villa was number one on our list of places to stay and Diane got back almost immediately….We booked and for months, we were looking forward to our visit. The villa was EVERYTHING and more, as described. What wasn't mentioned were the caretakers, Cynthia and Mike, who from the minute of our arrival, tended to our every need….And here's the best….they became fast friends. When we left, I cried buckets of tears…but I know I have forever friends in Cynthia and Mike. As for the villa, you will NOT be disappointed. If you stay for an extended period of time, you will become a part of the neighborhood…We LOVED that and that's why resorts are of no interest to us. I LOVED cooking meals with all the native veggies and fish and Mike was always ready with a new recipe idea to try!!! The surrounding gardens are beautiful with all sorts of things growing for guests enjoyment…And our next door neighbor, Ernie, dropped off fresh grapefruit…yum…and Harry, one of the gardeners, dropped off mangos. We stayed in the Coconut Suite, the top floor, and it was perfect for our needs…well equipped for cooking and bright and airy. The view is SPECTACULAR!!!! We also had the Palm Suite for a week when our two grown daughters visited and that was fantastic, as well!!! As for Diane and Ken, the owners……they are wonderful…Easy to work with them and so accommodating….I bought a guide book for St Lucia which was totally useless…Diane's packet is MUCH MORE useful and we did just about everything that was suggested….without disappointment!!!! Diane and Ken "found" us on the beach the second day we were there…Off sailing, they stopped by to check in with us…I was amazed that they found us and took the time to make sure we were happy and comfortable…Really? Instant love, for sure!!!! My husband is not a real beach lover like I am, but he found lots to do that he liked doing and so we were both happy!!! Do NOT miss out on a stay here…."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"This place is amazing. It's very comfortable and relaxing. The view of the Caribbean is great. Having a private pool is the best! John and his local staff are wonderful. They will take care of whatever you need. John answered all our questions and made our trip easier. We rented a car which was delivered right to the villa. We were close to great restaurants, beaches and Rodney Bay Marina. If you're looking for something quiet and with privacy, this is it! We ate breakfast every morning on the veranda with an amazing view of the Caribbean. Also, the sunsets are gorgeous whether your relaxing in the pool or lounging on the veranda. The housekeeper Luenda and on island agent Ena are very friendly and very helpful. Luenda will even cook you a meal or shop for you. We even arranged for a couples massage on the veranda which was so relaxing. This place has incredible charm and is the perfect place for that romantic trip where you can avoid the masses. Overall, this was an incredible honeymoon for my wife and I. Thanks John for having it available. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime."
