  • Scenic & calming. Natural & luxurious at same time

"Even though this was our 3rd stay at Ohana in 1 1/2 years, the magic of this place did not wane one bit. There is no other villa of its kind in Trinidad or Tobago, & possibly the Caribbean. It's definitely built to optimise on what the location has to offer. It's perched on a cliff, allowing for gorgeous views that you can enjoy from almost any spot. It's also quite cool & breezy. There are many overhead fans if it's still too warm for some. In addition to the sea views, the 4 rooms variously look out onto a large koi pond & 2 infinity pools (1 deep, 1 shallow), and a charming courtyard. You can sit in the shallow & and take in a nice drink & the sunset. It's clear that alot of love is poured into the care of the villa and its grounds. Everything is as advertised: air conditioning in rooms, bathtub in the master, washer, dryer, fridge, stove/oven, micro, heated water, 1 tv, wifi etc.Upon your arrival, you're treated to a lovely welcome package of various eats and drinks, including some nice wine and beer. Rena, the head housekeeper, is a very warm and affable lady & checks in once a day to make sure you're comfortable, & to have the rooms cleaned & toiletries replenished. Other than that, she is always only a phonecall away if you need assistance. There are so many unique and special touches to this villa that make it an experience and not just a stay - outdoor shower, smaller courtyard for reading or games (there are LOTS of books & magazines if you so decide), fruit trees on the grounds... You won't want to leave but if you do decide to go out & about, there are restaurants & beaches nearby, including a lovely private beach that is accessible via stairs from the property. It's also a gorgeous & increasingly popular choice for an intimate wedding...I had my reception here as well! Makes for breath-taking photos & a very relaxing honeymoon. Just google Ohana villa and you'd see images of the destination weddings held there. The owner of the villa is also a real pleasure to deal with, whether you're just staying or having an event there. You won't regret this stay. 3 stays there & I still got teary-eyed when it was time to leave. This place is truly a gem."

  • Fantastic

"It is a gorgeous house in a beautiful bay . The house was lovely , amazing views and decking with pool and only 5 min walk to the beach . Parlatuvier is a authentic sleepy village in Tobago so if you want R&R this is perfect however the flip side to this is the supermarkets are a good 45 minute drive away . A real hidden gem that we would return to !"

  • Beautiful experience!!!

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at La Jolie! It was very comfortable for my family, especially having a baby the environment was very clean which was really important to me. I would definetly recommend anyone to experience the spectacular ocean view, waking up to the relaxing sounds of the ocean waves. The kids enjoyed the salt water pool that was very safe. Such a great place well designed that captures all aspects of Tobago's natural beauty. Looking forward for another stay soon!"

  • We loved it!

"We are just home after a wonderful stay at Petit Careme! And I would go back this second if I could! We stayed with 7 adults in this lovely Villa in the most beautiful settings you can imagine! The Villa is spacious and has everything you will need! And a gorgeous patio/terras you will love to sit in the morning/afternoon and just feel the good vibes of the place, listening to all the different birds and if you are lucky, you will see an Iguana climbing the trees! You and the Villa will also be taken very good care of from Charmaine and Waine, who are housekeeping/gardering and wachting the place! Charmaine is a charming lady with a wonderful sense of humeur and the most lovely laughter! She is also a great cook and we will for sure reccomend you to ask her to make a local dinner once or twice! The best food you can get on Tobago. Waine takes care of the place and is a very friendly man with a lot of nowlegde about the animals, birds and the plants and it is very interesting to listen to what he has to say. He also cares for Brownie, a little, friendly dog who moved in last year. We already miss them all. If you need transport, we wil also reccomend Kirt Joefield from Joes's taxi service! He is so reliable, friendly and can take you everywhere you want. He will for sure not be late and he knows all you will want to know. At least, Wendy and Eric who ownes the place, are fantastic people who will give you the best feeling and you just wants to go back! We will reccomend this lovely place from all our hearts!"
