  • Great Stay

"We have been to St John at least a dozen times. We like the Coral Bay area as it is less hectic . We usually rent a villa on top of Beaurodeau Mountain for the views and breezes. With that being said we opted for a location on this trip that was a little closer to the water. The villa is a advertised. Being at a lower elevation allowed us to get to Coral Bay and the East End beaches faster. Also the Salt Pond area is easier to get to. But, being at a lower elevation does make it harder to enjoy the inside of the villa due to temperatures. The master bedroom does not really cool down as it has very high ceilings and a louvered door to the great room. Not sure what they were thinking with that. The lower two bedrooms are fine. The great room was usually too warm to sit during the day and it was still hot into the evening. This is not a real problem as there are great areas outside around the pool to relax. I would have given the villa 5 stars but with the issue stated above coupled with a rocky rutted dirt road leading to the villa I had to give it 4. Just be aware that many villas in the Coral Bay area do have dirt roads. Some can be much worse than the one to Secret Seashell. It did get a little old rocking over the pot holes and rocky sections. All in all a great trip."

  • Awesome Villa

"This was our first time visiting Turks and we were very nervous about finding the right Villa. Villa Vivace was just perfect for us. The bedrooms were nice and spacious and I'm very picky about cleaning and this Villa was spotless. We were very impressed. Anytime we had a question we got a very quick response. It was a wonderful visit but Villa Vivace just made it perfect."

  • Home away from Home!

"This property fulfilled all it's promises! We had cooler, snorkel gear, and rafts for relaxing in water on all the beautiful beaches. The pool was very nice too with a hot tub! This condo had the most comfortable beds, kitchen had all necessary gadgets and dishes we needed, and the view from the patio of the bay was outstanding. I really liked having the 1/2 bath as brought my son and friend so they had their private bath and didn't have to use the full bath off master bedroom except for showering. There were really no negatives to this place except we had to leave! The nearby restaurants were wonderful and loved the Jost van Dyke - The Soggy Dollar Bar sail trip that took us to White Bay which was beautiful too. All the people were very friendly at this resort. Loved it and hope to come back again!"

  • Perfect family vacation! Coming back next year!

"“Our vacation in St. Lucia was absolutely amazing but it couldn't have been as great if he we had stayed anywhere else but La Batterie. The villa was stunning and the view was breathtaking! It's located on a hill over Soufriere overlooking the beautiful Pitons so it has the best view in St. Lucia. It was also close to everything that we wanted to see: sulphur springs, volcano, botanical gardens, scuba diving, snorkeling, you name it. The best part about the villa was the people. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Clavie, the driver, became a very good friend of our family and we're still in touch after coming back to the states. I am not exaggerating when I say he knows everyone in town. He got us into places for private tours during off hours because he knew the workers. I highly recommend using him as the driver for your entire trip. Stephanie, the head housekeeper, is an amazing cook! We skipped restaurants just so we could have her food. All the staff was amazing! Terry even helped us make bowls out of the calabash fruit that we picked. Since we went in off season, we were stuck in a tropical storm while on the island but BK, the security guard, stayed with us through the night when we lost power and even walked with us, along with Stephanie, down to Anse Chastnet in the morning because cars weren't able to come through yet. Just amazing people! The hosts, Mike and Jennifer, communicated really well. They answered all of our questions and sent extremely detailed information about our stay and gave us recommendations of places and companies to use while there. I also cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity during the storm since we had to stay an extra day because our flights were canceled. The stay at La Batterie was so memorable that we plan to come back next year and stay there again. Do not look anywhere for your perfect stay in St. Lucia. Book this place now! It is a gem. ”"
