  • Quaint, charming villa on a truly amazing beach!

"We are so glad we chose to stay here in light of a recent negative review among the many glowing ones and we were very pleased that all of the aforementioned issues were non-existent by the time of our stay. The place was well-appointed and the landscaping beautifully done. The property manager, Rebecca, was amazing and very helpful. She was a wealth of local knowledge and gave us several recommendations for great food and activities that helped fill in our time in Providenciales. We look forward to our next stay at the lovely Place De La Sol!"

  • Great villa for four 29-year-olds

"Just got back from a trip with my wife and another couple. We had a blast! The villa provided some amazing views of Silly Creek. We rented a car and drove all over the island. We spent every night at the villa's pool. We grilled on the patio overlooking Silly Creek. We ate at lots of great nearby restaurants, drove to Taylor Bay and Grace Bay, and snorkeled at Smith's Reef with the villa's gear. All in all, it was exactly what we were looking for."

  • Turks and Caicos Retreat

"We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Silly Creek Cottage and want to return immediately! This is our 4th visit to TCI, and our 1st staying on this side of the island. If you're looking for peace and seclusion this is the side we would highly recommend. The Grace Bay area is beautiful but has become a tad busy for us over the last 15 years. The cottage is perfect for 2 people; spacious and amazingly well equipped. We booked this holiday with intention of decompressing after a super busy business year and were not disappointed. Lazy days started with breakfast on one of the 2 decks, afternoons spent exploring deserted coves in the kayak, most evenings spent grilling dinner and watching the sunset. Heather, the owner, is delightful and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this cottage for the perfect get away."

  • great location, quiet, super easy access to beach

"+ves - great if you want some peace & quiet (mostly) and avoid crowds at Grace Bay - beach is perfect for just getting out of bed and jumping straight into the ocean; really safe for kids - easy to get the sea kayaks in and out of the storage racks (some villas require you to lift them up and down steep stairs which is difficult) - beach cabana allows you to enjoy sea breeze without being out in the really hot midday sun - relaxed snorkeling around the rocks to left/right of property; plenty of fish to satisfy all - 15~20min drive to super markets and main shopping/restaurant area (Grace Bay) is not too far...we really liked Las Brisas (3min drive; good paella & rum cake + view), Garam Masala & Thai Orchid restaurants (20~30min drive) - occasionally spotted sea turtles coming up for air (once jet skis had disappeared) - Taylor Bay beach is short drive away...really safe for kids as the water is knee-deep for 100 yards out -ves - jet ski rental business operates around the point to the left; they can be noisy during the day - some of the wire screens covering the windows are broken so watch out for mosquitoes at night - there is some noise from cars/trucks driving along the road but not too bad"
