  • Lovely Condo in an Awesome Location

"My husband and I have stayed in this condo over our anniversary for 2 years now and plan to go back again for the third time. The condo is perfect and has a gorgeous view of Grace Bay from the screened in porch. The decor and furnishings are very nice with granite counter tops, ceramic tile, and a beautifully redone bathroom that has a tile and glass block walk-in shower. It appears that the new owners plan to make more updates this summer. The only drawback for some would be that it is on the third floor with no elevator. The restaurants nearby are so good that we welcomed the exercise. Ocean Club West is located close to everything including fine restaurants, shopping, and a very nice grocery store. We enjoyed walking everywhere. The grounds of Ocean Club West are very well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Their on-property restaurant is very good; we especially like to have lunch there. Of course, the beach is fantastic, and there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for guests. For years, I had wanted to visit Turks and Caicos, but the high rates at the various resorts kept me away. This condo gives you everything you would want but at an affordable price, and you can't beat the location."

  • We found paradise

"We stayed in Heron's Retreat for 5 days, and the trip, as well as the home, was nothing short of wonderful. The hostess, Pamela, is delightful. She escorted us to the home from the airport and took her time to show us around. Her home is on the same property, so we felt that she was very accessible in the event that we needed anything. We LOVED the fact that both bedrooms had ocean views, and those views were spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the patio (upstairs and down) several times per day relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. The beds were comfortable (although we found the pillows to be a bit flat). The house is equipped with everything we could have needed during our stay--toaster, coffee pot, some bottled water, among many other things. Most importantly, Pamela has beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for her guests to use for trips to the beach. We took advantage of these amenities each day we were there! The beautiful, fresh flowers in the house also were a really nice touch :-) Overall, we found the house to be very clean, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and perfect for our first visit t the Turks & Caicos Islands. It was about 5 minutes (drive) from Turtle Cove and roughly 10 minutes from the gorgeous Grace Bay. In the opposite direction down the beach, it took us under 10 minutes to walk to Da Conch Shack and Kalooki's. Both had good food and drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. Although we did not snorkel off the beach by the house, we enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the sea turtles swim and play. What an amazingly beautiful place. We would definitely consider staying here again."

  • Thank you Courtney! Albatross 3

"Just to start off the beach is absolutely stunning!! My husband and I have traveled all over the world, Belize, Costa Rica ,Mexico, Hawaii, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Spain and nothing compares to Pelican Beach, the water is a color of blue I’ve never seen in person before. We spent hours and hours in the Ocean. It is amazing that this place is still so unknown, half the time we spent on the beach we were the only couple in sight. Our favorite time of day was definitely dusk when we would take our chairs and champagne and watch the sunset on the beach. The villa is absolutely beautiful. It was just my husband and I this time, but we will definitely be coming back with the kids. I loved the new modern kitchen. Every room had it’s own bathroom as well, ours had a very cool stone mural on the floor. Having our own private pool to ourselves was great as well, I loved getting up in the morning and jumping in for a quick dip before breakfast. Provo’s restaurants are great as well, we loved being able to sit on the beach and overlook the ocean as we ate dinner. Courtney the property manger gave us a lot of great recommendations; she recommended we take a day tour of the islands and had fresh caught lobster cooked up for us on the beach. It was truly unbelievable. My husband is an avid fisherman back home; so we took a night fishing charter and caught a fresh tuna. The captain cleaned and filleted the fish for us. Back at the villa we cooked it up on the BBQ, it was definitely the freshest fish we had ever had. We both agree this was definitely our favorite vacation spot to date and are bringing our kids back next year."

  • Spectacular Spring Break

"We have vacationed 10 times now in Turks and Caicos and for the most part prefer the quiet of the south side of the island. In the past, we've primarily stayed in Taylor Bay, which we had always thought of as the perfect location. Until this year - Some friends of ours had suggested long ago that we try out the South East side of the island. We were hosting our daughter and some of her college friends for their spring break and wanted to be certain we had enough space for all to feel comfortable, at ease, and safe. That took us to Villa Roi Soleil. Our trip couldn't have been better. The home is beautifully decorated for beach living, and you are in need of nothing while staying there. The home was clean and well maintained ! Had we had any problems, we knew caretaker Wilbert would be right there to help !! The pool is a terrific size and the private beach....a perfect place to welcome the new day, relax (or play) in the mid-day sun and then finally to gaze up at the stars at night. As my daughter commented, you feel as though you are inside a snow globe filled with thousands of stars surrounding you!! The beach toys were also perfect and more than enough for our 7 person crew. Villa Roi Soleil allowed us to create memories that will last a lifetime !!! Tips: - Oddy (I say that originally from Chicago where Pizza is king) - the IGA pizza is really good. We were tired one evening and couldn't decide what to have for dinner. We drove to the IGA hoping for some inspiration, and came home with pizzas. - Bugaloos and da Conch Shack never disappoint !!!! - Sunset cruise on the Atabeyra was lovely - one of our favorites ! - Silly Creek Water Sports took us out one day and owner Steve kept us safe and full of fun !! - We found you can buy fresh lobster (while in season) at the blue building (seafood distributor) just down the road from Bugaloos. They get it fresh daily from the fisherman. (Although Steve with Silly Creek mentioned if we saw any fisherman coming in, we could stop them and see if they would sell direct to us) We highly recommend Villa Roi Soleil - and hope to return soon !!
