  • BEST VACATION EVER

"This was our second trip to Turks, fist time at Footprints and it won’t be our last. We have been fortunate to visit many beaches and there are none better than Grace Bay. Getting to Turks and Caicos is very easy and we were at the villa within 40 minutes of landing, including customs and getting our rental car. The Villa. We traveled with a group of friends and found the Villa to be very clean, spacious and accommodating. The layout was well thought out and the communal living spaces were large enough to accommodate a group of 10 adults. We spend every evening in the comfortable large outdoor living space. Outdoor speakers could be controlled through an iPhone – highly recommend fun playlists! We didn’t expect the amenities and level of details (cleaning, laundry, etc). The staff was courteous and discreet. The Beach. It is literally steps away from the backdoor and it is fabulous. Eugene would set up beach chairs, umbrellas and ice down the cooler every morning. He’d return mid-afternoon to see if we needed beer or ice and again in the evening to bring in the chairs. Footprints set-up is better than a 5-star hotel, with regard to beach access and ease. The Food. Nadine, the chef, was OUTSTANDING. We told her our general preferences and she took care of everything else – planning, shopping, preparing and clean-up. Every single meal was delicious and Nadine was helpful in getting us reservations when we enjoyed dinner away from the villa. Fresh coconuts and coconut water were readily available on the property. Restaurants. We dined at Lupo, Coyaba, Mango Reef and Coco Bistro. Would highly recommend each but for different reasons. And, I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about Melt. They sell coffee by day and yummy desserts and cocktails at night. DeDe, the mixologist, is a hoot. Highly recommend taking a cruise with Captain Brian with Kenard Cruises. We did a charter – FUN FUN FUN. Bring a playlist!"

  • Perfect villa in a perfect location

"Could not have asked for a better experience. Working with Nicola was fast and easy. She was patient with all of our questions and made sure we had all of the details we needed. The villa itself was perfect. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. The 4BR, 2BA was a perfect fit. We immediately felt at home. There was nothing we wanted that the house did not have. The pool was a treat too. It has a great rock wall at the deep end that my kids spent hours jumping from into the water. The location is also amazing. We stayed in the Cooper Jack area last year and kept commenting that this year's location was so much more convenient to everything. It is a 5 min walk to Grace Bay. We would walk down every night and watch the sunset from Rickie's Flamingo Cafe. It is a few mins from a market and from Salt Mill Plaza. It was also nice that there is a gate a security at night. This is an ideal villa for any family of 5-6 people."

  • The perfect family vacation. Close to beaches, comfortable indoor outdoor living!

"We weren't sure what to expect being on a canal and we were not disappointed. The view of ocean water and the beautiful pools were wonderful to wake up to every day. My 70-year-old father and my two-month-old baby were both happy and comfortable. The place was equipped with everything we needed to cook. And when we needed something extra the property manager was quick to provide it. My only little complaint would be the sound of howling dogs at tonight from some of the neighbouring villas. The highlight of our stay had to be kayaking to go get iced coffee's at the local marina. It's a nice treat not to get in the car !"

  • The perfect place for a getaway...

"Our family of 10 descended upon Villa Cariad and all of us had any expectations blown away. The home site is gorgeous and lends ample privacy, opportunity for activities and easy access to other island adventures. The architectural design of the villa is both gorgeous and functional. The villa is perfect for a group as each bedroom is located in a private corner of the house and with ensuite bath. The attention to detail cannot be overstated. The quality and newness of the indoor/outdoor furniture, appliances, kitchen utensils and bedding come to mind. The outdoor cooking area is a wonderful spot to prepare meals poolside. Lush foliage and blooms add to the tropical setting. The sound system is terrific and allows guests multiple streaming options. The wifi connection was useful and fast. We used the kayaks and paddle boards many times and paddled to mangroves and private beaches where we were able to find lots of sea life in the clear water! The Turks and Caicos Islands are a special corner of the world and Providenciales offers a great mix of natural beauty and amenities. Villa Cariad is the ultimate place to enjoy on it's own or as a jumping off point to explore the rest of the island. We look forward to returning."
