  • Wonderful Family Vacation

"We arrived on 9-20 for a very overdue family vacation. Linda was very welcoming and gave us a ton of info about the area and also all the amenities of the main house before she left. We also met Edson our first day and were immediately in love with him. Our first night and second nights were uneventful and we slept well. We went to the fish fry Thursday evening and had an absolute blast being around tons of locals as well as other tourists. The food is spectacular and inexpensive compared to some of the other places on the island. We went home, and after some great family time on the west patio, we all turned in for the night. About 4:30 that morning the alarm went off and we all came jumping out of bed. The security company called almost immediately and we told them what had happened and they arrived within 10 minutes to check things out. They did not find anything, and we all went back to bed for a bit. We got back up about 7 and after breakfast as we were headed out to Chalk Sound for the day, we noticed the screen had been cut near the front entry way - so we immediately contacted Linda and Alfonzo - who came to the house within about 30 minutes. They also found some palm prints on one of the bedroom sliding doors where someone had apparently tried to slide it open. So, for the remainder of our trip - Edson was our bodyguard and property patrol - he was up all night long making rounds of the property and when he would see that we were up, he would go to bed. This helped us feel more secure, as my daughter and son-in-law's bedroom was the one that they had tried to get into - and she was pretty upset about it, as would be expected. We had no more issues with this the entire time we were there. The house is wonderful - the view from the front room takes your breath away - having a laundry onsite it WONDERFUL! We were next door at Beach House nearly every day of our stay - letting "The Sherminator" take care of our needs. They were so gracious in letting us use their beach chairs and water equipment. Since we went in the off-season, no place was ever very busy. Some of the restaurants close for renovations, so we were sad that we couldn't take the kids to Heminway's or Coco Bistro, but we did eat at Mango Reef, Tiki Hut, Sharkbite, and Baci. Also Giggles ice cream! :) Take lots of money - as groceries are ridiculous. But you will NEVER see water this color anywhere else in the world! So it's worth it!"

  • Fabulous Getaway

"Palmera was the perfect place for 6 couples to get away and relax. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the infinity pool and the private beach. We snorkeled right off the shore! The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the grill almost every night! The villa was close to the airport and the grocery stores. We could not get enough of the gorgeous view! Our time there was not long enough, we are ready to go back!"

  • Great Getaway!

"Stayed here on very short notice on our 3rd trip back to V.R. We would have preferred a higher floor but, due to great difficulties communicating with Allied Management, we felt very fortunate to get this 1st Floor (106) unit. The management company (Celeste formerly Gorgeous) was terrific, accurate, and responsive. The unit is clean, well appointed, properly equipped, and has great access to the beach with a beautiful view. The VR staff of Lorraine and company were so kind and helpful and proud of their island slice of heaven. It was great to see the bar open and Bentley's brother (we miss Bentley), Eldridge being the jack of all trades. We love the intimacy of Villa Renaissance. Everything is within reach from a bike ride or beach walk without the crowds and chaos that come with a big resort. The grounds and pool are beautiful. The beach and water are so deserving of their world's #1 ranking. Loved The Deck at Seven Stars, Hemingways (of course), Bay Bistro, and Caicos Dream Tours. Thanks to all for a fantastic and memorable 5 days!"

  • Felt Like Home

"My wife and I stayed at Barefoot Palms for a week, and it was the perfect escape. As soon as you walk in, it feels that you are home. The back patio was where we spent most of our time. It is very close to Pelican beach which is beautiful. All of the major restaurants and shopping areas are only 5 minute drive which is very convenient. Ramona and her team made the process very easy, and I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for the perfect private getaway."
