  • Quiet and Beautiful

"The pool was amazing! The condo overlooks the ocean from all directions. We watched the sunrise from our balcony. Very clean and there was always a place to sit beside the pool. The beach was beautiful and our kids loved that there were kayaks. We will definitely go back!"

  • Great place for quiet and privacy.

"This unit and the resort as a whole were very clean and well maintained. The balcony of the unit was one of the best on the resort because of the view and the shade it afforded all day. The hot tub which was surrounded by palms with the view overlooking the pool and the ocean was stunning, particularly in the evening and would be hard to match anywhere. You will need a car if you stay here. There is absolutely nothing nearby. Should you like to go to the restaurants in Grace Bay for dinner each night, you may find the drive back into an endless line of headlights tedious and nerve-wracking. The kitchen of the unit however, you will find very well equipped with every piece of equipment you might imagine, all in excellent condition. I think the owners could be a little more generous with the number of towels they provided, but we simply washed ours regularly in the washer dryer combo provided. This resort is very very quiet. If it's peace and privacy you seek, this is the place for you. I wouldn't bother going to the restaurant or bar. No one eats or drinks there, so no one really shows up to serve you or to bring you anything in any timely manner. By the time you are served lunch you could make a trip instead to one of the lesser known grocery stores like Quality where you will find staple foods half price of the tourist oriented IGAs. After you have done your shopping there, head to IGA for your few luxury items, deli foods and fancy cheeses. Save yourself a fortune over Grace Bay restaurant bills. If cooking on holidays really is your thing, go for lunch one day at Bugaloos which is a delight, then pick up some fresh caught fish from The Fish Market near there on the way home. Go crazy in the kitchen. We all got eaten alive by the hot tub at dusk on our last day by some kind of sand fleas or flies who left a lasting impression on us when we got home. I don't know much about these insects, but I know they are fairly common in the Caribbean. And I know now to make a hasty retreat should I encounter them again. The property manager hired by the unit owners to deal with renters is efficient and helpful. Overall it is hard to find fault with this unit at this resort. I would recommend it. Others guests at the resort did not all feel the same about the units they occupied, some of them finding particular units a bit shabby and in need of renovation."

  • Point of Paradise

"The Vista Del Mar is truly a home away from home! Our family vacation with our "children" who are young adults now was perfect. The villa is beautiful. It is removed from the Grace Bay area, if you want to get away from it all, this is your place."

  • Simply Beauttiful!

"What a wonderful location. The condo is exceptional and the owners are too! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location then this is it. We stayed for a week and were delighted. The unit is well furnished and there wasn't anything that we were in lack of. Thank you Tom and Kathy. We will be back!!"
