  • Great central base camp to visit Provo

"Great communication and support. So many inclusions (bikes, snorkling gear, beach chairs, cooler, ombrella, local cellphone, beach mats...). Very welcoming experience and affordable experience on the island, even more if compared with any "beachfront" villa. We totally felt like it was our own cottage, nothing is missing. Its also greatly appreciated that they provide a island cellphone and that someone is alway reachable for any questions or recommandation. We felt secure and confident and not "left alone on the island". If you want to see around, you have to get a car anyway, even if you rent a beachfront unit at 20x the cost. Driving in provo is safe and as the island is small, you can (and will want to) see it all. This cottage/villa is centraly located, so you can get ANYWHERE within 15 min or less. Food is good everywhere on the island, but restaurants are on the expensive side. Our meal routine was: 1) breakfast at the cottage, 2) for lunch: high end sandwiches, salads and wraps to go from Graceway Gourmet (thanks for the supplied cooler and ice packs!), 3) dinner most of the time at the cottage (new Weber BBQ at your door, and full kitchen inside). Good and affordable food. Beaches are incredible, it's great to just reach in the cooler, open a beer and grab a sandwich right there in your own cooler. No need to leave the beach and wait an hour to get lunch in a restaurant. . We would totally go again, next time with the whole familly in both the villa and cottage :-) Cheers !"

  • BEST BEACH VACATION, unbelievable beauty, serenity, hospitality

"We have visited many places in the world searching for the perfect beach vacation. We found it here! Look no further if you want a peaceful get away. Yet, you are in the heart of everything. We rented bicycles, our adult children rented scooters. Walking distance to most things, Diving was excellent, Kiteboarding, & jet skis on the other side of the island. Be sure to take advantage of the sunrise and sunset walks along Grace Bay. We were there for an extended visit that included New Year's. Lay out of the property is perfect for 3 couples. We cooked most nights in, and ate out for lunch while we explored, and went out in the evenings for after-dinner entertainment. The owners are so helpful, with local property management that is top notch. Looking forward to our next visit!"

  • The true essence of the Island

"Our stay at this property was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated, a sort of " beach version of Pottery barn" We arrived in the middle of the July heat and were greeted by the lovely Joselyn, who had the house not only immaculately clean, but also very cool (with the island breeze coming through the windows and the ceiling fans there was no need to turn the a/c on) There was also rum punch for us and juices for the kids waiting for us in the fridge. I like cooking, and was relieved to see that there was loads pots, pans and a great variety of spices to cook with. Joselyn stayed nearby thorough our stay and gave as a cell phone with her number in case we needed anything. Although we never had to use it, it was a nice feeling knowing that she was just a call away , The children enjoyed playing outside in the dock, were they had a lot of different options to choose from!!!! My husband cooked some fantastic BBQs and we had lovely evenings on the deck. The house is close by to all the beaches, but we particularly enjoyed Turtle Cove. It has a great coral reef, beautiful beach, nice calm waters for the kids and a marina where we had many lunches in the marina restaurants (we even docked at one of the restaurants and had lunch one of the days we had the boat) Talking about the boat. I truly recommend hiring the boat. You can explore the island and reach beautiful, paradise like beaches that cant be reach without a boat. We had the boat for two days, but if you can, I would suggest to hire it for longer......there is SO much to see and explore!!!! Staying at the house gives you a totally different experience to that of an all inclusive resort. In a resort you feel that you could be anywhere.... all resorts look pretty much the same wherever you go, and you don't get to go out of the resort...... so why bother going all the way to Turks & Caicos when you could be in a resort closer to home and it would feel the same? If you are going to go to such a beautiful island, then you might as well enjoy it all!!! At this house you can do that, because you are not kept at only one beach in one resort. Remember, all beaches in T&C are different and worth exploring. We also hired the car Katherine offered us. I recommend the Hyundai Santa Fe if you go during the summer months as it has the very much needed a/c . Other times I think it might be fun to hire the jeep ! We used all the beach equipment, and there was a lot! Do not doubt, rent this place!"

  • Loved the location

"Joe's condo is in a great location in Turtle Cove, a low-key area with easy access to everything on Providenciales. The condo itself is very clean and well-equipped, and as others have said it has everything you need for an easy/relaxing vacation. The Queen Angel is a bit older but is well-kept and the landscaping is beautifully done and lush. The condo development has mostly local residents vs tourists (you can tell by the lack of rental cars in the parking lot), so you'll occasionally hear a baby crying but otherwise it's very quiet and low key. We really wanted to avoid crowds of tourists so this was the ideal place for us. Within walking distance you have 2 good restaurants (Mango Reef, Tiki Hut), charter fishing and scuba outfitters and more. The Green Bean is the only place to go for coffee/breakfast, and frankly I would avoid it: dirty, bad/slow service and weak "Starbucks" coffee. We brought Sbux instant coffee with us from home and stocked up at the gourmet IGA so we could have breakfast on the condo's patio next to the pool. Much better! As other reviewers did, we rented a car from Scooter Bob across the street from the condo. The cars are pretty beaten up but they work, and when we encountered a problem they gave us a different car with no hassle and no questions asked. A car is an absolute necessity, and we really enjoyed exploring every corner of the island and checking out the different beaches and neighborhoods. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and would definitely stay at Joe's condo when we come back."
