  • Fantastic clean studio in great location

"Our overall experience was very positive. This studio is very well maintained and in a great resort atmosphere, situated in a great spot on famous Grace Bay Beach. The unit also includes complimentary access to toys like Kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles. You really can't go wrong with this unit for two people. Only thing to note is that there is no stove and the fridge is small, fine for preparing small meals in the unit. We would gladly come back again in the future."

  • great last minute getaway

"We just returned from Villa Tropidero a little over a week ago. We had a great time. Last year we stayed in North Caicos and loved the privacy but for a younger crowd, the solitude was a little too much. So this year, we decided to stay in Provo to be closer to the action, when and if we wanted. The balance was much to our liking; when we wanted to head out for the night to hit one of the night spots, it was within 10-15 minute drive. For cases where we wanted to stay close to home, the local watering hole was just down the street. The house was perfect for our needs, living space was more than comfortable, pool was great for the late afternoon to cool down, and the beach and crystal clear water checked all the boxes. At night, having dinner in the breezeway was just the right way to finish the day. For our stay, there were three couples so the bedrooms worked out great. Having morning coffee on the second floor balcony looking out over the ocean was the perfect to start to 7 straight days of 85+ degree weather. We surely enjoyed ourselves."

  • Great central base camp to visit Provo

"Great communication and support. So many inclusions (bikes, snorkling gear, beach chairs, cooler, ombrella, local cellphone, beach mats...). Very welcoming experience and affordable experience on the island, even more if compared with any "beachfront" villa. We totally felt like it was our own cottage, nothing is missing. Its also greatly appreciated that they provide a island cellphone and that someone is alway reachable for any questions or recommandation. We felt secure and confident and not "left alone on the island". If you want to see around, you have to get a car anyway, even if you rent a beachfront unit at 20x the cost. Driving in provo is safe and as the island is small, you can (and will want to) see it all. This cottage/villa is centraly located, so you can get ANYWHERE within 15 min or less. Food is good everywhere on the island, but restaurants are on the expensive side. Our meal routine was: 1) breakfast at the cottage, 2) for lunch: high end sandwiches, salads and wraps to go from Graceway Gourmet (thanks for the supplied cooler and ice packs!), 3) dinner most of the time at the cottage (new Weber BBQ at your door, and full kitchen inside). Good and affordable food. Beaches are incredible, it's great to just reach in the cooler, open a beer and grab a sandwich right there in your own cooler. No need to leave the beach and wait an hour to get lunch in a restaurant. . We would totally go again, next time with the whole familly in both the villa and cottage :-) Cheers !"

  • Perfect unit in a perfect resort on a perfect beach!

"Villa Renaissance is like your own elegant private little world on Grace Bay. It is located on the west end of Grace Bay close enough to walk to everything, but far enough to be away from the big resorts with all the chairs on the beach. Just a pristine, private area of Grace Bay with miles of beach walking in either direction. This was our first time staying at Villa Renaissance. We stayed in this ground floor unit just steps to the ocean. We loved being on the ground floor! The unit is a perfect amount of space for two people and the furnishings are very tasteful. The view was breathtaking, true to the pictures here on VRBO. What we liked most about the ground floor unit is you could just walk a few steps to the beach from the unit, so it felt like you were living right on the water. The unit was perfect -- every need was thought of, from laundry detergent to wash our swim suits daily to snorkel equipment to great daily maid service to a cell phone with minutes. Mel from management took great care of us. Corell at the front desk greeted us every morning with a big smile and since he grew up on the island, he told us all the fun things to do. I'll never forget his thoughtfulness on my birthday -- he surprised me and called the restaurant and had them set off fireworks on the beach while they sang me happy birthday. I cried, I was so touched. Grace Bay on Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite beaches in the world, Villa Renaissance is the perfect, private place to stay on Grace Bay, and this unit was just perfect for us!"
