  • our stay at Turks and Caicos/Villa Sublime on Silly Cay

"The Villa was as pretty as it appears in the pictures. thank you to the owners who offer visitors the ability to stay on such a pretty property. Well decorated and very comfortable. Our stay at Villa Sublime was not as it should have been when it came to the expectation of a clean home and working pool. we also had to wait over an hour to be greeted at the airport by the team at Luxury resorts. The management team with the exception of the weekend supervisor was pleasant and responsive to any issues at the Villa. Overall, we had a great stay and felt very relaxed at the property. there was very nice beach just a mile down the road that was not crowed and we felt like we had a private beach shared by only those in near by villa's. We did drive into Grace Bay to the Supermarket. Well worth the drive as the food was top quality and the cost was not overly expensive."

  • We loved it so much we stayed 2 extra days

"Breathtaking views, amazing seclusion, the perfect place to get away. There are only 2 houses, both to the left, in either direction. They were vacant during our trip and we couldn't actually find them listed on any rental site. We decided that even if they had been rented it was still so much more private than you could find anywhere else as there are long, long stretches of beach with no one in sight. We were originally set up to stay 8 nights and fell so hard for this amazing house and location we added a couple of extra days. We are already planning our next trip and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The master bed was very comfortable and we felt the essential items for bath and kitchen were more than adequate. Do you need to get more toilet paper and paper towels if you're staying awhile? Sure, but you're not staying in a hotel for a reason, if you want endless toilet paper then don't stay in a rental house. Were there some minor maintenance issues and did a crazy storm on the last night knock out the power and water? Yes, but the tradeoff is having a nearly private beach and the kind of existential zen experience you almost can't find anymore. You are on an island, virtually in the middle of nowhere. Nothing's going to be perfect, except the view and hopefully the company as given the seclusion you better really like who you come with. Absolutely have Chrischelle shop for groceries, they have pretty much anything you can think of at the IGA on the mainland. You can put in an order at the Wine Cellar for wine/beer/liquor and then pay over the phone and have Chrischelle pick that up as well. Even with just 2 of us, I can't imagine having to lug 10 days worth of groceries and libations across on the ferry. I also recommend getting a car, you'll be happy to have that 20-year-old Nissan to get back and forth from the ferry and to the few restaurants and convenience stores, or to explore if you somehow get tired of gazing upon the most beautiful white sand beach and turquoise water. As many other people said, cash is king. Also, Miss B will come and cook for you at the house, a really nice treat. Bring bug spray, when the wind dies down the sand fleas can be brutal. Also, bring some laundry detergent pods for the washer."

  • A wonderful family Christmas holiday

"A beautiful location steps across the beach to the ocean. The three cottages are on a relatively sparsely populated part of the beach within easy walking to shops and hotels. Each has two bedrooms and the three easily sleep eight to twelve. They are tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean and excellently equipped for families who like to cook. The sea was turquoise on calm days, absolutely perfect with great visibility. Even on windy days swimming was always fun. There is new coral growth on part of the reef and some good snorkeling. This visit had a little more rain than previously, usually at night or early morning which meant our breakfasts were accompanied by rainbows."

  • Great property on Salt Cay.

"Really enjoyed our stay at Seaside Cottages on Salt Cay. Both cottages are well appointed. Property is beautiful. Salt Cay is great. Shelley was very responsive during booking, and Willy the property manager was extremely helpful during our stay. Would absolutely rent this property again."
