  • Best Stay Ever On Provo

"This was our third trip to the TCI but our first time staying at George's condo at the Alexandra. We will definitely stay here on out future trips. From the moment that we were met by Lucy (Property Manager)at the airport we were delighted by her friendly and professional service. She escorted us to our unit, showed us all the features in the condo and went over all of the enhanced amenities of the TCI VIP CLUB. She was even kind enough to walk us down to the beach, show us the location of the club and introduce us to the Beach Butler. The beach location is superb, the attentiveness of the TCI VIP CLUB Beach Butlers was amazing and the accommodationsecond were excellent. We can't wait to book our next trip to this little gem."

  • Beauty and the Beach

"We loved our week at the Whitby White House! We like quiet islands, and had been to Provo many years ago when it was quiet. So North Caicos is our kind of place! Where to start? You couldn't find a better spot on the island or on a nicer stretch of beach. The water is literally right at your doorstep. The sand is soft; the sun is strong. The daily hunt for that "perfect" conch shell became an obsession. The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable, spacious, good for sitting indoors or outside. (Well, we might have appreciated TV for those really quiet evenings, but we improvised thanks to the Wi-Fi.) We brought some food on the plane and bought the rest of our supplies at the big IGA in Provo, so we made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, but also got out and about for some lunches and dinners. Our favorites were Mudjin Bar & Grill, Silver Palms, Barracuda Beach Bar, the Last Chance Café and Miss B's. All in all, it was a great week, and we're already talking about when we can return."

  • Comforts of home, but in paradise!

"We enjoyed our 12 night stay at The Charming House immensely, and it was the ideal home base for our daily explorations. The house, like Salt Cay itself, is utterly serene and Charles is the ultimate invisible host. Perhaps because he lives there himself for part of the year, the house feels nothing like a rental. It's more like being invited to stay at someone's very special home whilst they are away. The kitchen is extremely well appointed. As we went in the off-season and were unsure of how many of the island's restaurants and grocery stores would be open, we brought quite a bit of food with us. You need next to nothing for clothing on Salt Cay, so we used quite a bit of the 50 lb luggage allowance per person for food. I am very glad we did, because fresh supplies are hard to come by on an island like this, and only one restaurant was open for business. We used Dickinson's grocery store for eggs, butter, milk (they understandably sell only shelf-stable milk), and some little goodies like peanut M&M's and Flav-O-Ice popsicles, but do not expect to find anything else fresh. As promised, there are two bikes available for use, but as we are a family of 4 (two adults, two teenagers) we fully expected to have to rent a golf cart to get to places like the North Beach. Fortunately, we found a couple of older bikes in the shed which my husband managed to resurrect. Other reviewers had warned about frequent flat tires due to the rocky paths and thorns from the bushes that grow all over the island, so we tried to be mindful not to stray far from the main roads, and the bikes held up quite well. Keens or Tevas are the ideal footwear for exploring the island - in and out of the water - especially for places like the South Creek. Debbie, who manages the house and owns/runs the Dive Shop and Island Bistro, was invaluable, and Richard was a wonderful dive instructor for first time divers like us. Everyone that we encountered on the island was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. That said, Salt Cay is for explorers, adventurous spirits, nature lovers, and people who are willing to work a bit to uncover the island's treasures. Snorkeling, diving, beach combing, swimming, birds, donkeys, crystal clear waters, and STARS! If this is you, Salt Cay will blow your mind. It is not a good choice for anyone who needs the kind of holiday where everything comes to you and everything is easy. Stick to Provo for that."

  • Beautiful Studio Condo - perfect for couples!

"My husband and I have traveled to Turks several times prior and have stayed at multiple properties. We generally bring our daughters or other family, but this time we were flying solo and chose this little gem. Completely recommend this for those who want to get away and have all the luxuries of home. This place is packed with everything you could need to cook for yourselves if you choose. The furnishings are very nice and I would chance to say that Keith enjoys his electronics!! There are so many little perks that many other places would never think of including, but are so perfect and amazing. Being so close to Salt Mills Plaza, Gourmet IGA and the awesome downtown restaurants and shopping is so fabulous. I would completely recommend this place, it is awesome:)"
