  • Great Condo on Grace Bay

"My husband and I recently returned from Turks and Caicos (3/11/2017). While researching where to stay, we initially started with Beaches because we frequently travel to Sandals resorts. When comparing the options and the price, we decided that the Alexandra resort was a much better option. We chose not to purchase the all inclusive plan, but were not disappointed. We had a car and ate only once at the resort, but the kitchen in the condo and the proximity of the Gracebay IGA made our stay (all inclusive condo, car, food, and alcohol about $5000 for the week). Staying with Elen in the Prima Rosa building was the best option as we considered cost. If you lease directly from the property, the same 1/1.5 condo costs almost double. The condo is exactly as pictured, has all the amenities you will need, and having a washer and dryer lets you pack light and avoid checking bags. There is a mid week cleaning and enough towels and linens are provided to not require you to wash the linens during your stay. Elen is prompt in answering all your questions. She provided some great dinner options, but we also ventured out on our own. She welcomed us with yummy brownies are nice surprise!!! Elen's condo runs just like those that are leased directly through the resort. You will receive pool cards when you check in which allows you to use the pool towels and the chairs at the pool and the beach. If you do not have these cards, then you are not allowed to use the "reserved for owners or hotel patrons chairs. Overall, you can not go wrong leasing from Elen, she even returned my deposit via Pay Pal before I even landed in Charlotte. I have leased from MANY owners on VRBO, and by far Elen is TOP Notch!!!"

  • Fabulous vacation on a gorgeous island

"Beautiful views, breezes and beach... Slept with the doors and windows wide open several nights during our stay. Peaceful and relaxing location- pictures are what the unit and property look like. Well equipped and excellent views of ocean and pool. Must rent a car to get around. Great restaurants on the island!"

  • Fantastic View and a Great Place to Stay!

"The Villa was perfect for us. It has a fantastic view of Chalk Sound, a large pool with views of Chalk Sound, two Master Bedrooms that look out onto the Sound, a large kitchen area with everything you need, and oh boy, that wonderful weather. We were very impressed that the Renter has someone meet you at the airport, shows you the way to the Villa, and shows you everything you need to know there. The breeze was so nice we never needed the A/C the entire vacation. You definitely need a rental car to get around the island. We found Grace Bay Car Rentals the best. Make sure you request one of their free cell phones for making reservations around the island. All you pay for is the minutes! (you only need $15-$20 of minutes for you whole stay. Here are few recommendations for your stay: (1) Don't fly in our out of the island on weekends. There is a lot more people traffic; (2) We used Big Blue Limited for our kayaking, Sun Charters for a Sail & Snorkel Trip and Sunset Sail. Sail Provo also has a great Sunset Sail; Don't miss snorkeling at the Coral Gardens in Grace Bay, either; (3) Las Brisas is the closest restaurant to the Villa. It is fantastic and serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (check for times and schedule at the restaurant for you vacation dates) The snapper and lobster are great, we ate there several times. Make sure you take the Pontoon Boat Tour of the Sound. The 2-hour trip is well worth it and is right at the restaurant; (4) Bugaloo's is a great place for a lunch right on the beach. It has fantastic views, really good, live music and terrific food; (5) We found the other best restaurants on the island to be Coco Bistro, Magnolias, Opus, The Landing, Somewhere Cafe at Coral Gardens (was the best place for lunch or breakfast. Eat upstairs, the view is unbelieveable!, and Pelican Bay Restaurant (go on Wednesday Evening, they have a "Lobster Extravaganza with All You Can Eat Lobster 5 different kinds) and grilled fish. It was amazing. We recommend going to most of these restaurants before sunset, so you can watch the sun go down (best to watch is at Magnolias and Somewhere Cafe); (5) Stop at the IGA Grocery to get some food supplies as soon as you can, so you have some breakfast, lunch and drinks available at the house; (6) Lobster season is from mid-November to late March. From April to November there is no lobster served on the island."
