  • Excellent in Every Way

"Everything about this condo was perfect. Although there are steps to navigate, both from the parking lot and to the beach, my disabled daughter was able to handle them. The condo is absolutely beautiful - the photos do not do it justice. The decor is fun and tropical, and everything was immaculate. Top-of-the-line appliances were in the kitchen and laundry areas. Cookware and cupboards were spotless. The pool is just like the condo - ultra-clean and fantastic. We used the grill twice - it is adjacent to the pool area. There is ample parking, unlike a condo area down the street. Very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and Christiansted. We plan to return. I recommended the condo for people with disabilities but it is NOT wheelchair-accessible. The master shower has a removable showerhead/hose and area to sit, which worked well for my daughter."

"We stayed for a week (one bedroom apt) and it was terrific. Teri and her assistant, Steve, were very responsive to our (small) requests and we loved our vacation! The apartment is nice and looks just like the photos. The real gem is the location-really just ten steps to the most magnificent beach and clearest water one can imagine. Good snorkeling and the walk on the beach to town was easy and fun. We hope to be back again soon!"

  • Amazing Vacation!!!

"We stayed a week at this condo. My husband and I were there looking for property to buy. We absolutely loved this condo - the view is AMAZING. The location can't be beat as you are 5 minutes from Christensted and a short drive to everything else. Gail was great to work with. We spent every morning and every evening sitting out on the patio looking at the ocean. The snorkeling right off the beach is pretty good. A trip to Buck Island with Big Beards is a must see when you are there. We had a car and drove all over the island. Cane Bay was great and the snorkeling there was really good. We will be back!!!!"

  • Fantastic Place

"My over-riding impression upon arriving at Sugar Bay House is that it is in a perfect spot, with a magnificent view all around it and that the accommodations are really relaxing and comfortable. So let's deconstruct that sentence. Firstly - The perfect spot. Sugar Bay House is situated on the top of a small hill overlooking Salt River Bay on the North Shore. We drove around this wonderful island and we thought that the Salt River area was the most interesting, beautiful and quiet place upon the island. There are a few houses nearby, so it's quiet. The Salt River area, has an interesting little Marina, through which I walked nearly every day. There are interesting boats and people there and I ended up getting to know of few of them a little. Its an easy walk down the hill from the house to the little beach or Marina, but a little more effort is needed to get back up again, but it's worth it. The nearby beach was good for swimming and lazing. Everywhere you look around the house from the terrace and during the walk down to the beach is full of colorful flowers growing on bushes everywhere. It's really easy to get around St. Croix to visit all the great beaches which are never far away. Most had a beach bar on them, white sand and clear turquoise water. Some of the roads on the island are a little rough though, so you might want to rent an SUV. We didn't, we had a small fiesta which was fine but sometimes not quite fit for purpose, especially around the rain forest. So now to the second point - the view. I spent so much time sitting on a bench under a covered table at the corner of the deck just looking at the view; it's stunning and it's interesting. I watched the boats coming to and fro and even 2 getting wrecked in a squall one weekend. You can see for miles in many directions. Sea planes flew over head, birds dropped by for a chat and even an iguana dropped by to bury some of her eggs. I was there everyday for many hours, during the mornings, days and especially at night - all right I couldn't see much then , but still loved it. There was always a gentle breeze blowing by, that was cooling on a hot day, but never cold.I think it's sitting at that table that I miss most as I look back to those heavenly two weeks there. The Pool was great and actually deep enough to dive in and long enough to swim lengths. Now the third point - the comfortable house. To be honest, I wasn't in the house too much but when I was, I was asleep in a comfortable bed with all th"
