  • Beautiful and Relaxing

"We had a wonderful week at the home. The house is very comfortable and clean! The view is more than amazing. It was so nice to lay at the pool overlooking the sea. We did see the sea turtles and had some iguanas come for a visit. We loved the simplicity of the island and this home made our stay amazing."

  • Fabulous Private Caribbean Get Away!

"We had no idea what to expect when my husband booked our stay earlier this year. When we arrived, Christie was right there waiting for us as soon as we were off the plane. She allowed me to ride with her as my family followed behind. This allowed me to get some great notes about the island as we drive around and it gave me great reference points. She showed us around our Villa and went over the map with us. We have 2 children, 11 and 14 years old. They absolutely loved the pool and the wifi. We truly felt we had a private palace with unbelievable views of the Caribbean and Smugglers Bay. It seemed most beaches around us were quiet and delightful! Points of interest: Point Udall, just to the east is the most eastern point of the US. Just a couple of minutes drive. Go to the south and in a blink you're on the south end! Go back towards Christiansted you see Blue Waters restaurant and Ziggy's. Blue Water is where we had Christmas Dinner. It was pricey but excellent food. We were glad they were open! Ziggy's is a riot! It's the best outdoor bar with fuel and a convenience store. We made multiple trips there. And Aaron, the chef, sometimes will make special meals just outside. It was delicious! We also enjoyed Cheeseburger in Paradise. It doesn't look like much, but it IS! Casual dining and yummy burgers and clam chowder. We went into Christiansted several times. We did Big Beards snorkeling trip to Buck Island. What a blast and what great guides. They really made my kids feel comfortable snorkeling in some rougher water. This opportunity is unbelievable! Be sure you do this even if you've never snorkeled before. They make it so easy to do! We are at Angry Nates and Schupes here. One day we called up Jennifer at Cruzan Cowgirls. She is a wonderful woman. Her horse trail ride is done with rescued horses who are very easy to ride. We met just north of Fredriksted at Rhythms Restaurant on Rainbow Beach. This was so much fun. We rode down the beach, into the jungle and finished up riding in the water! We wore shorts and most of the time I held my flip flops and rode barefoot. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and shares much detail along the ride. Last of all, we did go see the Odoule's drinking pigs at Dominoes. The ride was slow going with all the potholes. But it is a wonderful to see. This place is out in the middle of no where! $2 for a can of Odoule's to feed the pigs and $1 per person. Thank you Chris and Christie! We will be back."

  • Fabulous View - Stress Free Vacation

"First and foremost we need to thank Carissa for all her help and thoughtfulness. Driving on the left and on the lookout for the ever elusive street signs, it was a huge help her meeting us at the car rental and taking us to the condo. Not that you can get lost on the island but we certainly gave it several good tries (you really can't get lost....always wound up someplace familiar). The condo had everything we needed, even dumbbells (did have good intentions to use them). Going to the beach was super easy.... carryall, towels, cooler were all at the condo. Did I mention the view??? That's probably what got us talking to a realtor. Always a nice breeze and sitting in the lawn chairs looking at the ocean was the relaxation we were looking for. The complex is a good size but was very, very quiet and everyone exceptionally nice. The condo is centrally located on the north side of the island, easy to get anywhere but tucked away from any human and/or auto traffic. We rented a Jeep soft top from Olympic which was perfect for quick maneuvering on good and the frequent not so good roads. Went to some great restaurants, especially enjoyed Duggan's Reef....hmmmm so good. The only real sticker shock was at the grocery stores. Just don't send your husband into the store without strict instructions....$7.00 for M&Ms?? Again, Carissa, thanks for all of your help, you help make a long awaited vacation a huge success!! Will we be back?...Absolutely!!!"

  • Tropical Privacy

"This is the property if quiet privacy is your desire! The view of the bay pictured is exactly the view you get from the pool, and the closest neighbor who can see you on the pool is at least a haf mile away & would need binoculars to see you lounging on the deck. ;-) Robin & Walt are awesome hospitality liaisons & are very responsive to issues... even if there is nothing they can do! The internet was intermittent, and Robin tracked down the cause to an island-wide issue and kept us updated on ETA for the resolution. The house was also as described/photoed, so no surprises. The beds were remarkably comfortable for someone used to sleeping on a Tempurpedic! It's off the beaten path, so a rental car is necessary as the nearest grocery is a few miles away. We will return someday to re-experience this gem."
