  • Beyond expectations

"Having traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean my family and I had expected the same type of experience we always have, but in a different place. Our vacation experience ended up being bumped up to an all new level of excellence and we couldn't be more happy! The ride from airport to resort was short, we arrived in the evening and entered the most beautiful setting I'd ever seen. We were struck by this beauty daily, from first step outside in the morning, throughout the day and through the night. Our one bedroom apartment was set up to have everything you could think of, from electronics to kitchen accessories. My family even remarked how comfortable the pullout sofa bed was and I tried it...they were right! We thought it might be a tight fit sleeping 4 people in a one bedroom apartment but the design and layout of the apartment was so practical it was never an issue. There was nothing we could think of that we were missing- and best of all was the ease of the rest of our vacation. The resort offers convenient access to a gorgeous beach and pool. The beach is quiet and so safe I found my sunglasses, book and beach cover up long after dark, in the same place I had left them during the day. This gives you an idea of what the locals are like, because if you've ever been anywhere else you'd know this was a miracle! My family and I explored many places and did a lot of comparisons and have decided to stop taking the "good with the bad" and simply stay with "all good" and return to this condo annually. Our experiences have led us to the perfect vacation spot!"

  • Exquisite!!

"My family and I stayed at this lovely property from July 30th-August 6th, 2015 and it was absolutely wonderful. The photos online truly capture the exquisiteness of this rental property: stunning lacquered hardwood floor and ceiling, a spacious kitchen with adequate utensils that allowed us to cook full meals, and well decorated dining and living rooms on the first level. Upstairs is a huge master bedroom, plus two other spacious bedrooms with queen and double twin beds. The entire house was very clean! And if you’re not yet sold, here’s the kicker: there were souvenirs on every bed for the taking. The house is located in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood, with the beach just five minutes away. Others have complained about dogs barking at nights and disturbing their rest, but we heard no dogs, and we not have noticed anyway because we were busy soaking up the awesomeness of this locale. This property is at the farthest eastern end of the island, but don’t let this point on the map discourage you, for the island is only about 21 miles in length - east to west. Everything is within a 5-10 minutes drive (supermarkets, pharmacies, fast food, hospital/clinic, etc.). Internet at the house allowed me to communicate back home via Skype and WhatsApp, which was very useful. Bryan was also gracious in allowing us to host a small gathering at the house to celebrate my uncle’s 60th birthday (that in itself speaks volumes). You definitely need a rental if you’re going to stay here, for there is no “reliable” bus service from this end. I would recommend renting from one of the US-based rental car companies—they are so much cheaper than the local ones. Once you get your rental from the airport, take the northern coast for a scenic route to the house – it took me 25 minutes (a straight drive once on the coast…awesome!!). Bryan, thanks for a lovely stay and for your generosity outside of the confines of our rental contract, and for allowing me to raid one of your coconut trees out back and rid it of about 20 water coconuts (that’s an $80 value in Nassau). Climbing that coconut tree took me back to my childhood days in the countryside of Guyana. We’ll be back! Thanks again from the Pluck family."

  • Heaven in Barbados

"We were lucky to find this secluded cottage last year on a visit to Barbados. We reached out to the owners and they made our decision to stay there very easy. What a great spot. Secluded, private yet convenient to almost everything. We loved the visits from the monkeys and the peaceful setting of the backyard. Cottage is well stocked for cooking, if so inclined, but there are terrific restaurants within easy reach. Shopping, easy - just walk around the corner and there is a great supermarket. Buses are at the end of the street and will take you anywhere for $2:00. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely smile and warm welcome. Easy to communicate with the property manager who took great care of us. We hope to return again and again to this piece of heaven."

  • Little Piece Of Paradise

"Villa Mimosa is like being on a secluded island. Each morning we heard the roosters crowing and we would sit up in bed and the beautiful Carribean is right in front of you. All you hear is birds singing all day and waves crashing against the shore. You need a car to get to most restaurants located on the West end (about 20 mins) but if you want peace and quiet and a beautiful Villa surrounded by gorgeous foliage this the place to stay. The views from the terrace -breathtaking. The Penthouse is spacious and clean. If the mosquitos like you as they did my husband you will need some sort of repellent because some windows are w/out screens. The Villa sits high on a hill so you really don't need a/c, there is always a nice breeze. They do have ceiling fans. We visited all the high end resorts but Villa Mimosa was perfect for us. We had days we snorkeled and swam and didn't see a soul. We truly felt like we owned our own island."
