  • Tots relaxation with a view

"My husband and I stayed at the Blue Horizon Villa with another couple for a getaway with NO children! We've seen multiple photos of the house and they are absolutely beautiful. However, driving up and looking at the views in person are simply breathtaking! Pictures do not do this place justice. Our one goal of the trip was to go in without a plan, or agenda (completely not our style). However, necessary for people with crazy busy schedules to really appreciate "island life". Most days consisted of waking up and having coffee by the pool, taking in the fresh air and magnificent view (it never got old)! There was plenty to do on the island: paddle boarding, hiking, snorkeling on buck island (It some of the best we have ever seen). The locals are fantastic and were an absolutely pleasure to be around!! I can't say enough how impressed we were with our stay as a whole. No question we will be back very soon!!!"

  • Good Place to stay on St. Croix

"The condo is in a great central location to see all parts of the island. It's clean, modern and secure. The pictures and views accurately describe the unit. Billy was quick to answer questions and provided detailed information about how to get to the complex from the airport and other places to visit and restaurants to try. We would stay here again and rent from Billy at any other locations he may have. Favorite beaches: Sandy Point, Ha'Penny, Chenay Bay, Cane Bay and Sandcastle Favorite Restaurants (No bad meals at the other 8 places but these were the best. Also, we did not go to any of the $$$$-$$$$$ restaurants - not our style): Rowdy Joe's for awesome fish tacos and blue cheese cheesecake salad (yeah, you read that correctly), Harvey's for good local cuisine and the friendliest staff on the island and Beach Side Cafe at Sandcastle beach for the best combo of food and view (new owners and they're really trying to do it right)."

  • Best Christmas!!

"My parents, three sisters and our families spend the holiday together, this year in St. Croix. Roy was the perfect host!! Because we flew in on Christmas Eve, he called around to ensure the grocery stores would be open and had someone meet us at the airport and wait while we gathered supplies. He also set up a Christmas tree so Santa could visit during our stay. He also helped arrange a trip to Buck Island and Christmas dinner reservations. His home is the perfect setting for a large group. Everyone had ample space and we loved all the beaches and hiking trails. The outdoor patio was a great place to eat family meals together, enjoy the fabulous views and play games in the evening. It was a beautiful, relaxing vacation and our Vice President even paid a visit while we were there!"

  • Excellent Location and Stay with Managed Expectations

"This was our sixth visit to STX and our first stay at Seaclusion. For us, staying on the North Shore (Cane Bay area) is ideal and Seaclusion is an excellent location. Right on the water with beautiful views of Hams Bluff and all of Cane Bay. Easily walkable to several restaurants, the dive shop, and the many other amenities of the area. There is a great pool that we only waded in because of the temperature during our "winter" visit. There is a nice beach area with rocks keeping it from being a true sand-to-water type beach. It's still a great place to relax and enjoy the breezes. If you like sea glass, there is plenty of opportunities given the limited access to the beach from most anybody other than guests. We were there during an irregularly windy period that brought lots of waves. The close proximity to the ocean and the strong waves brought a healthy amount of sea spray that kept our living area pretty damp. This was due to the fact that we kept our shutter windows were open the entire time to maximize the excellent winds. We did finally close the windows on our second to last day and ran the A/C to aid in our dive gear drying out. The unit we stayed in had TWO nice A/C units that worked great. This is a very generous amenity considering many places we've stayed only have one. The unit cooled/dried quickly. You likely won't need the units though unless it is summer or need to dry things out like we did. The winds were just too ideal and comfortable. Where you do need to manage expectations is that the noise of the waves can be strong (especially in the abnormal weather we had). This can be a little noisy, especially with windows open. Add that to the fact that the bedroom window backs to the road and a light sleeper may have trouble. There is limited traffic but it can still disrupt a sleep cycle. There were other tiny issues like batteries dying in the A/C remotes and our bug zapper but this is where the management shines. They have a local full time resident who assist with any issues you have (as long as he's not working). He's very helpful and can assist with anything that comes up for the most part. Management was good and cared about our needs. Communication was great. When we arrived there was a lovely fruit basket and bottle of rum along with some ginger beer mixers and a very well stocked supply of bottled water. All in all, we loved our stay and would be happy to stay again with Seaclusion."
