  • Amazing views of Coral Bay!

"We have stayed at Flander's Villa before and returned with friends. The house has awesome views of Coral Bay and the winds hardly ever stop. This keeps the house and porches quite comfortable. The a/c in the bedrooms ensure a good nights sleep. We especially love the upstairs master bedroom with outdoor shower. The lower level has three large bedrooms that all have separate entrances and bathrooms. There are very nice gates at the stairs on each level to keep little ones secure. We brought along plastic gate locks to loop through the gate so that the little ones could not get onto the pool deck unattended. The house is large enough to hold two families with space for everyone to spread out. The pool was used quite a bit by the three children that were along. The kitchen is well appointed and the grill makes dinners in very easy. The location to many gorgeous beaches, restaurants and groceries is top notch. Mark, the property manager, is always easy to contact and great to work with. We love this place and would highly recommend it!"

  • A Slice of Heaven

"Every star is truly earned as stated by all the all the other reviews! Not being well seasoned travelers, we were a bit nervous with all the logistics of getting to the cottage. John quickly answered my inquiries about the best place to rent a vehicle, (St John Car Rental) ... times of the ferry etc. and put us in touch with Tom and Jackie who are the property managers on the island. They met us at the ferry and within five minutes we felt like we were chatting with our best friends. They are a wealth of information and made the cottage feel truly homey. The tiny white lights strung on the porch helped to light the way at night, along with the stars, if a middle of the night trip upstairs was necessary. The bathroom / shower were fabulous. Instead of looking at tiled walls you are viewing lush plants, and a beautiful harbor below. We spent most of our time hiking, hitting different beaches and snorkeling (the equipment provided was perfect along with chairs, noodles, cooler, towels, etc) . One day we had the pleasure of running into Tom and Jackie at the beach. Tom was quickly able to locate a sea turtle which was the one thing we hadn't been able to find on our own. I think our only disappointment in the whole trip was not being able to buy fresh, local fish to cook on our outdoor grill. Thank you, John, for putting your cottage on VRBO and letting us enjoy everything St. John has to offer. And thank you, Tom and Jackie, for making this vacation one we will definitely want to repeat :)"

  • Second visit to Sea Cottage

"This was our second visit to the Sea Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Monika and Jorge are such warm and friendly people. We were celebrating our third anniversary, and when we arrived we were so suprised to find a welcome note with a bottle of chilled champagne in the fridge! Since our last visit, they built their villa which is situated just below the Sea Cottage but because of the thick jungle, we never saw or heard them the entire time. We did bump into them a few times on our drive in or out and they were always made sure to ask if there was anything we needed. We had a power outage on the island one evening and Monika was quick to text us to let us know what was going on. We spent most of our time exploring St John's beautiful beaches, trying out some of the local eateries that we missed on our last visit, and hanging out at Aqua Bistro for drinks after a long day in the sun. We even got the chance to swim out to "Angels Rest Floating Bar" across from Vie's snack shack in Hanson Bay one afternoon. If you are looking for a romantic, secluded cottage for your next visit to St John you will fall in LOVE with this place. We will not hesitate to book our third trip here!!!"

  • Great location, Wonderful house

"Stoneharbor was the perfect place to stay while visiting St. John. With so many different beaches to explore on this Island, location is key and this house in Coral Bay provides every thing we needed and more. We had a couple of nice restaurants and a well stocked grocery store only a very short walk away, making it very convenient to shop or grab a bite while at the house. Being located in Coral Bay we had some of the most beautiful beaches in the world to the east, west and north of our location, all within a few miles of Stoneharbor, a short 10 to 20 minute drive to beautiful white sands and warm, clear blue waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding...or just soaking up the sun! This house is well taken care of, It was clean and comfortable, everything from the beds and linens to the dishes and kitchen utensils, everything was in good working order. Most of our days were spent out and about exploring this beautiful Island, but our evenings usually consisted of some pool time both before and after dinner whether we barbequed at home or went out for dinner. The large screened porch and swimming pool are great assets for this property which we used everyday. I would definitely recommend Stoneharbor."
