  • Seaside takes relaxing to a whole new level!

"My wife and I have been coming to St. John for several years now. The last two years we have brought the family and stayed at Seaside. The location is perfect if you want to have easy access to downtown. Tracy makes the process so effortless! Seaside has virtually everything you need to make you feel right at home. After a long day of exploring the beautiful island, it's great to have such a wonderful and relaxing place waiting for you! We have stayed at other locations, but Seaside has truly been our favorite. We are already planning our return and can't wait!"

  • Comfortable and charming - again!

"Once again we had a fabulous week at Christmas Cottage. The description is accurate, but as I said last year, it's a bit better in person, full of personality and very comfy. Super clean when we arrived, and Marcia is an attentive, experienced host, always just a text away if we have a question or need anything.Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a true island experience. Although it's close to her other house, it's amazingly private! As always we enjoy everything about St. John and particularly Coral Bay. Dinners and music at Skinny Legs and Concordia (esp. Monday night), dinner at Oasis more than once...and Aqua Bistro was also very good. Lots of hiking and time at the beaches. We'll be back!"

  • Gorgeous!

"We had an amazing week in this beautiful, perfectly put-together unit. With just two of us, it was wonderful to sleep right by the slider to the balcony, so that we could enjoy hearing the waves in the harbor lapping the shore all night. The studio unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Tracy (owner) was so easy to work with, and her staff did a great job of offering us assistance with arrival details, equipment and excursions, if wanted. Thank you all for a wonderful experience - we will definitely be back to Seaside Properties!!!"

  • Peaceful...Private...Paradise...

"We arrived at this house, had one look around, and both agreed we had officially found heaven. We chose to stay here by the photos and the reviews and we were NOT disappointed. The house is located at the far eastern end of the island, about 12 miles from town (Cruz Bay) where the ferry docks. We decided that staying in such a remote location would be a nice change of pace from our normally busy lives. This was our very first visit to St. John and getting to the house was an awesome adventure. First with driving on the left, up and down steep and narrow roads with gorgeous views, watching out for wandering donkeys, and finally navigating the very very steep driveway down to the house - what a grand finale it was! (you will need to rent a Jeep) Bob provided us with perfect directions, and even included photos of the places we needed to make turns. Much appreciated! If you are looking for a private and beautiful place to unwind, look no further. This house is perfectly perched on the side of a hill, very close to the water with no neighbors, other than goats, hummingbirds, and hermit crabs. The closest restaurants, shopping, and markets are 4 miles away in Coral Bay. We loved this quiet end of the island so much that we only visited Cruz Bay once during our 8 days here, and all of the locals were friendly. The rest of the time was spent hiking, snorkeling, fishing, relaxing, and taking our time to follow the day to wherever it took us (usually to one of the areas stunning beaches). In fact, we spent two full days right here at the house. We passed the day away sipping coffee, snorkeling, beach combing, fishing, floating, grilling, and having our favorite afternoon libations, and enjoying the nightime sky before turning in to the sounds of the waves and beach rocks outside our window. In addition to being awed by mother natures gifts of sunrises, lightning storms, spectacular moon lighting, and vast ocean views, Bob has thought of everything his guests might need to enjoy this place; things like snorkel gear, a cooler, beach chairs, floaties, a gas grill, and a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals and drinks. Our stay here was just perfect for us, and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for peace, quiet, beauty, adventure, and an easy and accommodating owner to work with. Thank you Bob!
