  • In Love!

"We absolutely fell in love with Milk Moon, Privateers Bay, the East End and Catherine! If you are looking for privacy, beautiful views, amazing trade wind breezes and overall relaxation, search no further. The house was exactly what we were looking for on our honeymoon. Perfect kitchen to cook morning breakfasts (to be enjoyed on the awesome deck). Never turned the air on once-the breezes are that amazing. Safe-windows and doors open 24/7. Close to all of the great snorkeling-easily accessible via Jeep. We loved enjoying a bottle of wine at the beautiful pool after a long day at the beach. Close to Coral Bay restaurants. Half the battle with VRBO is who you rent from. Catherine is amazing. She was super helpful and an overall great person (if she lived in Charlotte, we would want to hang out with her)! We hope to be back much sooner than later!"

  • GREAT PROPERTY

"I stayed on Marcia's property from NOV 1 to Dec 1...I first booked the Christmas cottage, but because I had visitors through out the month, she moved me to ISLAND VIBES. She has a great property, and the Christmas Cottage is just as described here. Island Vibes is a very spacious unit that can sleep 4. I rented a jeep for a week of my stay, but the rest of the month I rode the bus. The property is within easy walking distance to the bus stop, restaurants, and food shopping. There is no ocean view, because the property is situated in the valley of Coral Bay. It is in a residential area with lush vegetation, but there is still plenty of sunshine and great views of the beautiful starry nights. Since I was there during a fairly rainy month, I would recommend several pairs of shoes that are good for walking along very muddy paths to the bus stop. Also, I recommend using the mosquito netting that Marcia provides while sleeping. St John can be VERY BUGGY, so netting and DEET is a PLUS! Marcia is a wonderful caring hostess! She takes great pride with her units, and will make sure you have everything that you need!"

  • Heaven!

"What a beautiful destination! This really is the best view ever! Blue waters, mountainous islands, hills below the condo. So quiet, private, intimate. Really cute interior. Perfect for anniversary celebration or honeymoon! Close to Secret Harbour which is one of the best places to snorkel on St. Thomas. And the restaurants and bar on that beach is incredible with delicious gourmet food and fantastic island drinks. Gluten-free options are also available. Back to the condo. Can't say enough good about it. The chairs and cooler loaned to us for our stay were awesome as they were easy to carry. We took them everywhere and had our own chairs on every beach. Even those where you have to rent the chairs. Not us! Great location. Great air conditioning. Great kitchen. Lay in bed and gaze out at the ocean through the giant sliding doors. Hostess was perfect. Helpful. Available. Would totally stay here again. The bathroom is tiny so if you're looking to spread out in there, it's not going to happen. Didn't bother us though."

  • Beautiful and airy

"We had a great week on St John, largely thanks to this vrbo find. We loved so much about the space--the airy interior, comfy bed, substantial deck with delightful view, and outdoor shower. Tradewinds and fans provided ample cooling, and we enjoyed hearing the crickets at night. Great location, nestled in the hills yet close to restaurants and grocery stores. Sandy's hospitality made us feel right at home--thanks! The home was clean and kitchen well appointed. Wifi and stereo for ipod worked well. I was happy to have a break from a tv. One small word of caution: the driveway up to the home is barely drivable. Luckily, we rented a 4WD drive--the only way to navigate the rocks and cement gullies--but the mile-long road always felt much, much longer. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would (simply because of the difficult driveway). Overall, we absolutely loved the house and our stay on St John. Thanks!"
