  • Graduation Vacation Celebration

"Just returned from a great vacation (5/21-5/28) staying at this villa with my husband and 2 adult children with friends. The house provided us with plenty of room to gather in the evenings or privacy when needed. The trade winds help keep us cool and bug free. After long days of hiking trails and snorkeling we would relax around the pool and grill fish most days. We loved the seclusion and access to the National Park. First night was a full moon and the hot tub location was magical! My favorite spot! The family really enjoyed this piece of heaven. Thank you for opening up your house."

  • Ten days in PARADISE!

"We have done some traveling in the States and Europe as well as several cruises, but this vacation has found it's way to the top of our list. As others have stated, Katha and Vezio are great hosts without being intrusive. They leave you alone unless you need something and then they are right there for you. The suite is perfect for two. Clean beyond all expectations yet very homey. Everything is there including pots and pans. The view is awesome! Sitting half way up the hill overlooking Fish Bay, you can see for miles and miles across the Caribbean. We found the pace quite leisurely on the Island. We went into "town" and hit some of the beach bars and restaurants which are lots of fun. We also spent time on the deck of the apartment just talking and reading. You really do need a car or Jeep, but do not fear driving on the left. It becomes second nature almost immediately. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are only minutes away and the sugar sand, warm sun and great snorkeling await you. We highly recommend renting from Katha and Vezio. They will quickly become your friends in St. John. It is not a question of whether we rent here again, but when! Soon I hope."

  • Fantastic Stay

"We had a group of 8 (7 adults and a 12 year old). The house was just as described and was very clean. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The deck is large and the view is amazing. The kitchen was equipped with the all the necessities. The water comes from a cistern so you cannot use it for drinking or making coffee. Stock up on gallons of bottled water. Teeth brushing with it is fine. The water wasn't a big deal at all. Dawn was very responsive from when we first booked until when we left. She was friendly, informative and quick to respond. Like most houses on the island, there is only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. There are plenty of screen sliding doors for a good cross breeze. The loft rooms have windows, ceiling fans and extra floor fans to keep cool. The loft would not be ideal for smaller children. The stairs are steep and you have to use caution. Once up in the lofts, they are very roomy. We ended up moving our son into the master bedroom with us. We just took a twin mattress from the loft and put it on the bedroom floor. If you have younger ones, you can probably fit 2 twins on the floor of each master. There are two full baths but they are in each of the master bedrooms, so anyone not in a master must come through to use them. None of this was a big deal but just wanted to make note of it. If you go to the beach there are tons of items available at the house for you: beach chairs, coolers, some snorkeling gear, sand buckets, toys and beach towels. The house really had everything we needed. The internet worked pretty well. If it was cloudy or the wind was blowing a little hard, you could have a hard time getting service for a little bit. Nothing to do with the service at the house...just how it goes on the island in general. Everything was very nice and we made a lot of great memories. We were with someone who used to live on the island so we did a lot of traveling around the island, but Dawn will give you tons of ideas if you have never been there before. There are many amazing beaches. The only caution are the roads. They drive on the left and the roads are very narrow, go up, down and around. Many driveways and some roads are pretty steep at times so get a vehicle with 4 wheel drive if possible. The driveway at this house is also steep, but we ended up parking towards the top since we had a mini van. No way it would make it up and down. We just improvised, but you do a lot of that with island living."

  • Home away from home!

"Thank you very much for such a lovely home to stay in while we spent a lovely week in St. John. We were guests and found this home beautiful. It's nice to have a pool with all the 'toys' for kids in the storage area.(if you have children) The family living area was spacious and we enjoyed all the patio doors opened with the island breeze coming into the home. The view of the bay is breathtaking. We enjoyed the shower in the 1st floor bathroom with the windows. What a way to shower...looking at paradise. The house was in perfect condition and the kitchen well stocked, even though we were out almost every meal. It was nice to know everything was there if needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable (A/C) and the closets were also spacious. There are family videos, beach towels and chairs, coolers, everything we needed was in this home. The drive to town and the beaches was an adventure...the roads are a real experience! But you really need a car/jeep to get around on St. John. The property manager was so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure meeting her as she spent her day working on the computer internet connection. Thank you for helping us feel comfortable. Hope to stay there again in the future. It was wonderful. Your new friends from Cary, Illinois"
