"My husband and I had the best experience with Michael at Little Palm. This villa is perfect. Waking up to the views on the patio with a cup of coffee in hand was unbeatable. Besides the views being beyond what a picture can capture, everything about this villa makes life on the island comfortable and convenient. The drive to the villa is sketchy! Its totally doable, but don't have hopes of drinking in town (Cruz Bay) and being comfortable driving home. Save the evening cocktails for the private pool or deck of this beautiful Villa. A day or two into the trip and the drive seems second nature. We rented our jeep from Bougainvillea Rentals, it seemed to be the most reasonably priced. Although the brand new jeep screams tourist, we liked that the jeep from Bougainvillea wasn't spattered with stickers with the rental companies name, making the tourists car even more well known. We loved that the villa came equipped with beach chairs and coolers, made beach bumming very convenient! We rented snorkel gear from Just Beach and were very pleased. The pre trip planning felt like a breeze with all the assistance from the owner Michael. He made every effort to make our arrival go smoothly and an abundance of information about the island so we felt like locals upon arrival! We spent 2 days in St. Thomas before heading to St. John. HUGE MISTAKE!!! If you can make the timing work, don't waste your valuable vacation time in St. Thomas. Get to Little Palm ASAP, you will be happy you did! I can't say enough about this rental. Don't keep searching...this is the most perfect spot on the island!"

  • Fantastic Stay

"We had a group of 8 (7 adults and a 12 year old). The house was just as described and was very clean. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The deck is large and the view is amazing. The kitchen was equipped with the all the necessities. The water comes from a cistern so you cannot use it for drinking or making coffee. Stock up on gallons of bottled water. Teeth brushing with it is fine. The water wasn't a big deal at all. Dawn was very responsive from when we first booked until when we left. She was friendly, informative and quick to respond. Like most houses on the island, there is only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. There are plenty of screen sliding doors for a good cross breeze. The loft rooms have windows, ceiling fans and extra floor fans to keep cool. The loft would not be ideal for smaller children. The stairs are steep and you have to use caution. Once up in the lofts, they are very roomy. We ended up moving our son into the master bedroom with us. We just took a twin mattress from the loft and put it on the bedroom floor. If you have younger ones, you can probably fit 2 twins on the floor of each master. There are two full baths but they are in each of the master bedrooms, so anyone not in a master must come through to use them. None of this was a big deal but just wanted to make note of it. If you go to the beach there are tons of items available at the house for you: beach chairs, coolers, some snorkeling gear, sand buckets, toys and beach towels. The house really had everything we needed. The internet worked pretty well. If it was cloudy or the wind was blowing a little hard, you could have a hard time getting service for a little bit. Nothing to do with the service at the house...just how it goes on the island in general. Everything was very nice and we made a lot of great memories. We were with someone who used to live on the island so we did a lot of traveling around the island, but Dawn will give you tons of ideas if you have never been there before. There are many amazing beaches. The only caution are the roads. They drive on the left and the roads are very narrow, go up, down and around. Many driveways and some roads are pretty steep at times so get a vehicle with 4 wheel drive if possible. The driveway at this house is also steep, but we ended up parking towards the top since we had a mini van. No way it would make it up and down. We just improvised, but you do a lot of that with island living."

"My family and I stayed at this house the last week of June. The weather was perfect! The house afforded privacy for the family and was a great place for entertaining. We spent a lot of time on the decks. The kids (and adults) really enjoyed the pool on the lower deck. The management team in charge of the property could not have been more helpful to us. They made sure we had what we needed and gave us helpful hints on how to navigate throughout the island. It was, by far, the best vacation my family and I have ever had. Thanks to the owners and Henry and Larissa who made our stay relaxing and fun!!!"
