  • Wonderful Honeymoon Spot

"We had a great honeymoon at the cottage!! Sinbad was awesome. He picked us up right from the ferry (even though we arrived at 1130pm) and got us to our car and then to the house and made us feel at home. The cottage is in a wonderful spot (very cozy) and has an amazing view. It was only five minutes from down town so we didn't feel like driving into town for dinner every night was a big deal, but it was far enough away so that we felt like the house was secluded and peaceful. The view from the deck was amazing, we were so happy to come back to a gorgeous sunset spot every evening and to hear the ocean from our deck in the morning. It was also great to get into the hot tub at night and we still had a nice view given the moon light. The amenities were also great, we were able to stream netflix over the wifi, the a/c was a welcome relief from the heat of the day, and we made breakfast almost every morning in the kitchen. It was also really nice to use the beach chairs and cooler provided at the house for the beaches! Overall the cottage was a lovely spot for our honeymoon. We loved St.John and having our own private spot on a beautiful part of the island. We highly recommend the cottage and we hope to be back in the years to come!"

  • Fabulous!

"After 23 years of vacationing with our children, my husband and I booked four nights alone at Balance. It was perfect! Clean inside and well kept outside. The pool was refreshing and the evening breezes on the patio were perfect. We took advantage of the grill and cooked at the house when our son joined us for the last four nights of our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also clean and comfortable. The owners really have thought of everything! Just bring your clothes!"

  • St John's finest

"Got to stay at Villa St John for two glorious weeks. Great space for group activities, like the gazebo by the pool and the kitchen/dining/living room combo. Also the bedrooms are large and each as it's own bath. There was refrigerator in our room so we could keep things there as needed rather than in the main kitchen refrigerator. There was also space for a blow up bed to add to the flexibilty. Every detail was covered, Highly recommend"

  • Lovely Island Cottage

"My boyfriend and I visit St John fairly often, and we don't think of the island as a luxury destination - what keeps drawing us back is the simplicity of island life. We enjoy having a place to call home while we're there, and home is exactly what Molly's Cottage felt like when we stayed there last month. Cozy and tastefully decorated, with a great new open concept kitchen. We loved the large screened doors which let in the sunlight, cool breezes, and beautiful views (while keeping out the bugs!). Close to town without being right in it, and convenient to every part of the island. (Definitely recommend renting a jeep to get around and explore this amazing island!). Dining options on St John are excellent, but it was nice to enjoy some dinners at the cottage, too. There are several markets in town, so it's easy to stop and pick up whatever you need on your way back from the beach. The deck overlooking Chocolate Hole Bay is great - we ate breakfast there every morning, and it was the perfect place to relax with a cocktail or a glass of wine after days filled with hiking, paddle boarding, and beach bumming (be sure to use bug spray in the late afternoon/early evening when the no see ums and mosquitoes are fierce!). Being able to walk to the beach was fun - Chocolate Hole isn't the most spectacular beach on the island, but it was so nice to have it right there. Nice strolls in the morning and before dinner, and we did spend one very pleasant afternoon there swimming and beachcombing. The lack of AC was not a problem thanks to the breezes and fans (who wants to listen to a noisy window AC unit anyway - or sleep with the windows closed - when you can be lulled to sleep by the sound of tree frogs, crickets, birds, and waves?!). Having a washer and dryer was convenient. We mostly used the clothes line for drying - those breezes dry laundry in no time! There is good internet connection at the cottage, too. The owner is a pleasure to communicate with, quick to respond to emails and answer questions. We would definitely rent Molly's Cottage again. And we would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, laid back island experience."
