  • Perfect

"Gorgeous views! Breathtaking when we entered the villa. We loved the floor plan/layout - so nice that each bedroom is separated from the main living area with no worries of waking anyone or bothering anyone with noise. The outdoor showers - the outdoor showers - the outdoor showers!!!!!! Aaaamazing. This was a once in a lifetime family vacation and this villa exceeded our expectations. Would not recommend this villa for families with small children only because of the height/rocks around the pool area. If you want memorable views, a high quality villa and exceptional service, this is it."

  • Peaceful, serene getaway

"My husband and I vacationed at Lagoon Point for one amazing week in July with two very dear relatives. The hilly location was lovely; the 180-degree view from the balcony was incredible--watching the sunrises and sunsets over Coral Bay with the island of Tortola in the distance was divine. There is no AC in the dwelling, but there are constant, cooling Tradewinds, so it is not a necessity. With the screened windows and sliding glass doors kept open (and ceiling fans running if desired), we were always comfortable. One thing we found quaint, charming and unique was the screened-in indoor/outdoor shower attached to the restroom. Loved it! The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware -- next time we visit, however, we will bring a pot scraper/spatula, as that was missing. We ate all our meals at home--brought a fair portion of the non-fresh food with us, as we knew food in the islands is 2-2.5 X the price we'd pay stateside. There is plenty to do on the island; we rented a vehicle on St John and enjoyed exploring. There are numerous snorkeling destinations; recommend either bringing your own gear or renting from Crabby's, about a mile from the house. There are a few sets of fins and a leaky mask/snorkel in one of the closets--and several beach chairs if you want to use them! It was not really the season to hike (warm during the day), but there are a lot of hiking trails to enjoy if your visit is in the fall/winter/spring seasons. In summary, our stay was fantastic--the home was perfect for us, and we look forward to another vacation stay at Lagoon Point!"

  • Spectacular

"Jacqueline cares about her guests and she goes above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. The Villa is very nice and the pool is fantastic. We loved the nice breeze and beautiful views. We didn't need the air conditioner with the three door walls open. The sun does wake you up early but we loved that. The pictures are accurate and the vibe at this place is so pleasant. We were not disappointed in any way and we hope to return. We had dinner on the roof lounge and the view was breathtaking."

  • Nice unit

"Our family spent almost a week in beautiful St. John and decided to stay at this very quaint unit. It was not the first time for us in the island but it was in this unit. The unit has a good location mainly because it is a 7 minute walk to the downtown area which was very important to us. We love to walk and dine in this area at nights and know that parking in downtown is difficult. I have to say that though it is a short walk, the walk is a bit challenging. We are a pretty athletic family but did not look forward to the steep uphill walk after a nice evening. So if you are not in shape choose to rent a car or take a taxi. As far as the unit, we really enjoyed it. It was cleaned and had everything we needed as we cook breakfast and some lunches there. It is well decorated and with a pretty good view of gorgeous Cruz Bay. I say pretty good, and not great, mainly because to not fault of the owner there is a building coming up on the side of the unit that blocks some of the view. However, one could still enjoy a great view while having breakfast in the balcony or a few beverages at night. That was the best part of the unit.....the relaxing morning coffee overlooking Cruz bay. The pool area is very nice and also overlooks the bay. We also enjoyed the nice grill in the pool area. Finally, though the unit is well mantained and is fully stocked, it couldn't hurt to have access to air conditioning in the living room. I am used to the heat, grew up near the beach, and there is a nice breeze when all windows are open. However, it gets pretty stuffy in the mornings or during the day. It didn't bother me but I could see how it could others who are not used to this weather. I noticed a lot of the units did. The owner, Jan, was great to work with. She was always available and her contact people at the island were also great. We would definitely stay there again."
