  • Spectular villa, simply a little piece of heaven on Island time.

"Walking in the Mango Mojo Villa was breath taking, felt so privilege and honored that the owner are willing to share their personnel paradise with the rest of us. First, you can feel the love put in to this place, and most say that the owners have an exquisite taste. The detail in the décor and furnishing are luxurious. Simple and elegant, and at the same time gives you and instant homely feeling. The villa is so comfortable, all the rooms and bathrooms spacious and beach chic. The master bedroom has its own private balcony with a magnificent view that was heavenly to wake to. The common areas are just lovely and inviting to chill all day. The main balcony just screens hangout here, with the same magnificent view. I’ll tell it was hard to say good bye and I can’t wait to go back and live the wonderful experience again. My party has not stopped thanking me for finding this place. If you are looking for the perfect place this is probably it, and them some more. All you need is you and clothes. The location is great but, we recommend you rent a jeep, because there are some very steep hills to get to this little piece of heaven. So unless you are in the best shape ever we do not recommend you try to walk them. Last but not least the manager was the best, Dave thank you again for everything, for your kindness, caring and been available when needed. It really made a difference!"

  • Perfect Lodging and Location

"Our stay at Stone Post Cottage was spectacular from start to finish. The location was second to none, if you appreciate being just far enough and close enough to everything St. John has to offer, which is hard to imagine without experiencing it in person. (If you're looking for something remotely like a trip to the Greek islands, St. John may satisfy some of that craving.) But this review is about SPC. The owner spared nothing when building this home. So, for the price, you receive 4-star accommodations with literally everything one needs for a perfect vacation, including beach towns and your own "beach box" for the week, a cubby filled with coolers, chairs, umbrellas and jug for water. It's a place to spend time at, or return to, that will take your breath away while providing for every level of comfort, tranquility and privacy. SPC is spotlessly clean with views of turquoise waters with moored sail boats, tropical flora among its beautifully designed landscaping, mountains dotted with distant homes, moonlit and starry skies, a gorgeous pool and brand new hot tub, and every convenience you could possibly think of...and then some. If you prefer to take dinner in, there's ample space to eat, with endless views. If you'd like to grill and cook on a stove, there's that, too, along with refrigerators, microwaves and everything else you'll need to prepare a feast. If you're heading to St. John, just rent a Jeep in advance and pack your bags. Margaret and her staff, Patti and Ann, will take care of the rest."

  • Nice and private jungle retreat

"My partner and I had a very relaxing time at Hummingbird! This house is a private jungle retreat with a beautiful view! The house itself is very quirky and there are some very nice handmade wooden touches. One whole side of the house is basically screens, so there is a really nice breeze and no need for AC. The deck is really nice, and we cooked our own meals on the grill every day. The outdoor shower is neat with sea shells in the floor! We were about a 20 minute drive from most beaches. A few things to be aware of: As others mentioned and as shown in the photos, the steps down to the front entrance and also the steps inside up to the bedroom are really precarious. The mattress was very springy and we found it difficult to sleep on. Bring bug spray! There are mosquitoes everywhere (as there are everywhere else on St. John). The house has screens, so the bugs don't get in, but the bathroom is outside. There is no lock on the door. Being from New York, this made us a bit worried, but it seems like a totally safe place. We also rented a car from Rosemary's daughter (Jessica) at Sunshine Jeep, which we were very happy with. Jessica met us at the ferry dock with the rental car when we arrived, and she showed us the way to the house. Overall, this place was great and absolutely beats staying in a resort."

  • Great Little Cottage in a Great Little Spot

"Had a great stay at Island Cottage. It is exactly as pictured in the photos. Very well appointed and has everything you will need for a beautiful stay. We would return and we would send our friends as well. A little piece of heavy. (oh, and you do kinda get used to the roosters)"
