  • Paradise

"This house has everything you need to stay and enjoy Paradise (also known as St. John) for a while! We liked the fact that you had privacy and could enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck in pj’s but yet were only minutes from the beaches, restaurants and shops! The two large suites on the first floor were wonderful for privacy. The adjoining screened in porches with hammocks were enjoyed by everyone at one time or another!! The cool island breeze that flowed through the house provided a refreshing change from the air conditioner…..but they have those too if necessary!! The loft bedrooms were great, especially for kids simply because it’s like being in a tree house!! I appreciated the fact that it felt like a beach house because that is what we were searching for. The view of the water when you walk in the front door will take your breath away!! We’ll be back!!"

  • Perfect getaway for those looking for a little different experience

"My family and I enjoyed 8 incredible days at Mampoo House. I highly recommend this property to a family (or 3 couples) who want to be incredibly close to St. John's best beaches, who are seeking privacy, and do not mind a short drive to Cruz Bay. The views overlooking Oppenheimer Beach and Hawksnest are breathtaking. Two notes of caution: this home is not designed for anyone with physical disabilities (including issues with climbing stairs), and do yourself a big favor and have your own rental car (I suspect having a taxi find Mampoo is an issue). Mampoo's owners are very generous with providing all items you really need for a beach vacation: towels, coolers, beach chairs, etc. The home is outfitted in a first class manner, including the kitchen. The owners also maintain the property impeccably. Jennifer, the property manager/concierge, was extremely helpful and timely in responding to our pre-arrival requests. She helped make our arrival and departure very smooth. She was also very responsive to a few minor issues we had with the house during our stay. You become part of the natural environment of St. John when staying at Mampoo House. This is not the typical McMansion that you see on the island, and I will not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Family Reunion Trip

"We had a 7 day stay at the fabulous Casa Del Palmas. From the outside it didn't look like much but when our fabulous host, Rosanne opened the door my jaw dropped. The house was absolutely gorgeous with a breathtaking view. Of course I had to post pictures of the view to make my Facebook friends and family jealous :-) I was quite pleasantly surprised with the accommodations as we had a large group (7 adults and 4 children) and there was more than enough space from everyone. The kids had a blast in the pool and the house was even stocked with loved games and movies to keep the little people occupied. I would definitely return to Casa Del Palmas for my next trip to St John."
