  • Comfortable, and Clean! Cute, Cozy, Cottage!

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cute, Cozy, Cottage. We had never used VRBO before so to say I was skeptical is an understatement. After working with Craig and Jenifer we will definately be back!! Before the trip Jenifer was so helpful with all my questions and concerns. She was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. When we got there Craig met us at the dock and showed us any important stops along the way to the cottage. The cottage itself was amazing. It was much roomier than I had expected and the deck is quite large too with a wonderful view and comfortable zero gravity chairs to lay back in, or a bistro table and chairs. Every amenity you may need was there...I could have left half my luggage at home. The towels, sheets, pillows, and bed were all wonderful. There are wonderful light trade winds at night so we normally kept our windows open in the bedroom with the exception of a couple humid nights. It is all screened in, but even sitting outside we didn't get one mosquito bite the whole trip. The open air shower was great, and I would watch the hummingbirds hovering over the flowers from the shower...so neat! Craig and Jenifer we available for any questions if we needed them, but really left us alone and it is a very private cottage. We LOVED our stay and will absolutely be back!!"

  • Peaceful Hansen Bay Retreat

"We have rented Camercon Cove for many years now, and would never consider another place. While not ostentatious in design or furnishings, the house works well and is comfortable, and for peace and quiet, and water access, you cannot beat the location. Life happens on the deck breakfast thru dinner and on into sunset and starscape, or on the beach. Not as sandy as the north shore beaches, but a very short walk, and the 1/4 mile beach is shared by only 5 properties, one still only an empty lot. Right next to Sloop Jones on the map, and walkable close to other uncrowded East End beaches. A regular parade of sail and power boats and kayaks anchor below the house: you can pay about $75 an person to hire a boat in Coral Bay for a "secluded snorkel" trip and they will bring you here to Pelican Rocks, which you can easily swim to from our beach. You need a bit of sang froid to drive the hills of the National Park from Coral Bay-- centerline road from Cruz Bay is just a warm up--but Coral Bay has all you need, and now has several quite fine places to eat. If you snorkel over the turtle grass toward Long Point in late afternoon, you have a good chace of seeing a Spotted Eagle Ray cruising under you, the single most graceful moving creature in the sea ( and air for that matter)."

  • Coco de Mer

"This was truly a vacation of a lifetime. The Villa was amazing. It certainly exceeded all our expectations. The scenery, the grounds ,the accommodations , the prompt way Richard replied to my emails and of coarse Tommy (the go to guy).I can only hope that one day my family and I will be able to visit Coco de Mer again. Loved our paradise for a week. Thank you for all the beautiful memories."

  • It Doesn't Get Much Better Than This

"We vacation on St. John as often as possible, normally once a year. This year we were fortunate enough to visit a second time with a group of friends. We selected Villa Carolina for it's view and location. What a fantastic home! It was the perfect size for our group of 7. The outdoor pool deck was the nicest outdoor area we've had at any of the villas we've stayed at to date. From the infinity pool to the comfy deck furniture, we spent a great deal of time soaking up the view, eating meals, drinking coffee and enjoying a late night glass of wine I can't think of a time that we were more relaxed, laughed a ton and truly enjoyed this special place. The three bedrooms are fairly equal with nice furniture and comfy beds. Plenty of drawers and closet space (although I packed really light this trip). The kitchen had just about everything you could want to cook great meals and even though there is a lovely dining room table, we ate all meals around the table and chairs on the pool deck. The living room had a couch, chairs, TV, sound system but we seldom sat in here and only turned on the TV once throughout the week. It was great to have a washer and dryer throughout the week as it allowed me to minimize the amount of clothing I brought along on this visit. While there is a villa slightly up hill to the right, we never heard nor saw anyone all week. Villa Carolina gives you a secluded feeling, yet you are close to all the Coral Bay restaurants and the north shore beaches. For us, Villa Carolina sits in a perfect spot! Sharon, the owner, was a delight to work with and I already know we'll be back to Villa Carolina for another visit. In fact, I wish I was still there. Thanks to Sharon for sharing her beautiful home with us."
