  • Fantastic Stay

"We had a group of 8 (7 adults and a 12 year old). The house was just as described and was very clean. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The deck is large and the view is amazing. The kitchen was equipped with the all the necessities. The water comes from a cistern so you cannot use it for drinking or making coffee. Stock up on gallons of bottled water. Teeth brushing with it is fine. The water wasn't a big deal at all. Dawn was very responsive from when we first booked until when we left. She was friendly, informative and quick to respond. Like most houses on the island, there is only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. There are plenty of screen sliding doors for a good cross breeze. The loft rooms have windows, ceiling fans and extra floor fans to keep cool. The loft would not be ideal for smaller children. The stairs are steep and you have to use caution. Once up in the lofts, they are very roomy. We ended up moving our son into the master bedroom with us. We just took a twin mattress from the loft and put it on the bedroom floor. If you have younger ones, you can probably fit 2 twins on the floor of each master. There are two full baths but they are in each of the master bedrooms, so anyone not in a master must come through to use them. None of this was a big deal but just wanted to make note of it. If you go to the beach there are tons of items available at the house for you: beach chairs, coolers, some snorkeling gear, sand buckets, toys and beach towels. The house really had everything we needed. The internet worked pretty well. If it was cloudy or the wind was blowing a little hard, you could have a hard time getting service for a little bit. Nothing to do with the service at the house...just how it goes on the island in general. Everything was very nice and we made a lot of great memories. We were with someone who used to live on the island so we did a lot of traveling around the island, but Dawn will give you tons of ideas if you have never been there before. There are many amazing beaches. The only caution are the roads. They drive on the left and the roads are very narrow, go up, down and around. Many driveways and some roads are pretty steep at times so get a vehicle with 4 wheel drive if possible. The driveway at this house is also steep, but we ended up parking towards the top since we had a mini van. No way it would make it up and down. We just improvised, but you do a lot of that with island living."

  • We found Paradise!

"I just left a review on another site but I wanted to make double sure I left one here as well! Coming to STJ for 24 years and we never thought to stay in Coral Bay - now, we'll never go back to the other side. I tell people we felt like Peter Pan & Wendy in Neverland ~ its thats special and you feel that wonderful spirit right when set foot inside of Sweet Wind! You couldn't want or need for anything - Nina has gone way beyond making sure your stay is absolutely unforgettable. The first night met us with a full moon and we were just mesmerized! Coming across that breathtaking view was so amazing it didn't even look real! We went to bed with a breeze coming in while we stared at the stars! We certainly didn't miss an evening out on that Deck - there is no other view!! That was our favorite part of the day - enjoying Happy Hour and waiting for the sky to begin the show! So close to the North Shore Beaches, fantastic trails, kayaking, snorkeling, good eats and Nina has a fantastic, well equipped kitchen - it had everything! The outdoor shower was wonderful after our mornings running the nearby trails. Beautiful plants & flowers with hummingbirds flitting all around - this place is very loved and you can tell. We felt so grateful to be able to stay at such a very special place and we are so hoping to get back really soon! Thank you so very much Nina!! :)"

  • Rejuvenation, comfort, and million dollar views... all at Kia Ora Villa

"My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in St. John, taking along our two kiddos and Matt's parents, who were celebrating their 50th. Kia Ora did not disappoint! The location is fantastic.. close to Cruz Bay for convenience but far enough to allow relaxation and a feeling of having it all to ourselves. The bedrooms and layout provided a place for everyone to get away whenever we needed some space. We tended to gather on the deck in the mornings and evenings to watch the cruise ships come in and go, and to marvel at the million dollar views. The beds were comfy, and the villa had everything we needed including snorkeling gear, towels, games and books. We choose the perfect villa for our family and celebration, and would definitely come back."

  • Gorgeous!

"We had an amazing week in this beautiful, perfectly put-together unit. With just two of us, it was wonderful to sleep right by the slider to the balcony, so that we could enjoy hearing the waves in the harbor lapping the shore all night. The studio unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Tracy (owner) was so easy to work with, and her staff did a great job of offering us assistance with arrival details, equipment and excursions, if wanted. Thank you all for a wonderful experience - we will definitely be back to Seaside Properties!!!"
