  • Very private, tricky to find the first time

"We loved the location and view from Daebreak. We came in after dark and did get lost but called the homeowner and he talked us into the property. Sunrise view from the top deck was great! Loved the ruins after hiking up the short steep hill. Well preserved and much larger than we expected. We used the beach chairs almost every day. Donkey and deer in the driveway at times and the neighbors friendly dog greeted us everyday when we returned. The kitchen was well stocked. Previous residents left condiments, ie ketchup, mustard, salad dressing so we didn't have to buy all that. Bath and beach towels provided. Paper towels, toilet paper (do not flush), baggies, tin foil, saran wrap found in drawers. We used the map and some of the other books provided for snorkel locations and information. We did have an issue with no gas for the gas grill but the gas stove worked. You definitely need a 4x4 to get to and from the property. Close to Coral Bay groceries, north and south shore beaches for snorkekling. Overall loved the place!"

  • My favorite villa, spectacular ocean views

"This home is most amazing. Being out on the deck is magical, feels like you are floating above the ocean. We woke up to sunrises and ate dinner with sunset skies on the side of the deck."

  • Meritage Cottage

"Property is cozy and well maintained, close to town yet tucked away in the foilage and hills that surrounds St Johns. View is Cruz Bay, Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole. If traveling around the island to visit beaches and snorkeling, Meritage cottage has all the necessary items to ensure your beverages are cold, chairs for the beach and snorkeling gear. Property manager is very nice, met us when we arrived and gave us an overview of the property and a cool refreshing welcome drink. The Meritage Cottage is a lovely booking for couples and if combined with the Meritage House would make a fantastic property for a group of eight. Cheers"

  • Bliss indeed!!

"Loving our stay at beautiful Bliss, once again! The new shower is amazing!!! Cynthia has thought of every creature comfort and we are so grateful to her for sharing this little slice of heaven with our family. You name a detail and she has thought of it. Plenty of fluffy towels and paper goods? Check! Every spice, pot, pan, tupperware, appliance, wine glass (all shapes and sizes, even plastic for the beach) and kitchen supply imaginable? Check! Beach chairs, toys, coolers, floats, ice packs? Check! Grill with extra propane tank? Check! First aid kit and even toiletries? Check! Games (love St Johnopoly!), books, movies, a high-end stereo with surround sound? Check! Safe for valuables and lots of closet space? Check! Comfy beds and fluffy pillows? Check! Private parking spot? Check! The list goes on and get the idea! I'm on the deck looking at the twinkling lights of St. Thomas as I write this. The boats sail by in the morning as we enjoy our coffee on the spacious deck, and after the day goes by in what feels like the blink of an eye, we are back in the same spot enjoying sunset cocktails. I just love the colors as the day fades into night, and even after it's dark there are still the pretty twinkling lights of St Thomas to enjoy. The view is unbeatable! We actually had to draw straws with our daughter for which bedroom to choose. The master downstairs is in close proximity to the bathroom/kitchen and has cable which is a bonus (although we are always too tired for tv!) The loft is spacious with a king (or twin) bed, gorgeous water views, handy reading lamps, a table and chairs and even a flat screen tv for movies. It's like a suite! One of our favorite features is the proximity to Cruz Bay. It's a hop, skip and a jump to Dolphin market and the many world class restaurants and bars for happy hour. Our general plan is to go to the beach super early and then hit town around 3pm to enjoy some ice cream at Scoops or some of the many fabulous happy hour spots. Hard to beat a $3 drink (you call it!) at Joe's with your toes in the sand. There truly are not enough superlatives to express how much we enjoy Bliss. It sounds trite but it truly feels like our home away from home. We have been back twice and plan to return again and again! I actually shed a tear leaving!! Thank you, Cynthia! Until next time..."
