  • Mill Ridge - Coral Bay, St. John USVI

"This is a beautiful 2 bedroom home over looking Coral Bay. The woodwork and tile floors looked brand new. The appliances also looked either new or in great condition. Our 17 yr old grand-daughter said she wanted the master suite quite simply because of the almost outside shower. Not exactly outside but it certainly felt that way. The plunge pool was a most welcome sight every afternoon and evening after the beach outings. While some may question the rather steep and bumpy drive drive to the villa from the main road, we looked forward to the ascent and descent every single time. The wildlife was a bonus. The symphony of roosters, doves, banaquits, sheep and donkeys every morning around 5:15 was a wake up call that we will never forget (I mean that in a very good way). While the donkey neighing at 2:44 one morning rather scared the crap out of me, everyone laughed and thought that was the coolest thing ever. Only to be outdone by 5 more donkeys showing up two hours later to check us out. The location was 10-15 minutes from the North shore beaches and about the same amount of time to some fantastic restaurants in Coral Bay and other beaches on the South side of St. John. The only thing I would wish for is more bedrooms so that I could take more of our grand children with us. We will always be thankful to Hilarie for meeting us at the ferry dock, driving us to pick up our Jeep rental, having us follow her to the grocery store then to her Mill Ridge home."

  • Absolutely Awesome!

"This was our first time visiting St. John. This villa is everything you might hope for and more. It is close enough to town that you can walk and yet the area of the villa is so very peaceful and safe. The villa itself has more than enough space for two comfortably speaking. We stayed in Dolphina, the best! I did look in the other windows and doors and the three other villas look beautiful as well. The bed was very comfortable, Wi fi works well. Can also walk to Frank Bay and even snorkle or swim there, I did early morning when we first arrived. We walked and took the safari taxi the first few days and then rented a car, so there really is easy access. And the safari taxi goes most places. There is a little gift shop at Gallows Pt which is very near the villa that has a few convenient items if you prefer not to walk to town, very, very close. Can rent stuff here as well. Leslie, the owner is most gracious and so accessable and easy to work with. I have used VRBO for over five years, cannot say enough about her professionalism. I cooked at least two meals a day and I can say the kitchen is supplied amply to support cooking. One of the nicest ammenities is the veranda. It is most relaxing after a long day at the beach with beautiful views of Frank Bay. I highly recommend this villa."

  • Exactly what we we're looking for

"Everything about this property was lovely. Marcia and Sam we're so very gracious. All day breezes kept us cool. The house had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay. Looking forward to our next trip back. Will definitely stay again!"

  • Cozy Magic Treehouse

"After some issue with which of the two properties we were staying in, we ended up in Just Enough. The views are amazing, you can even gaze at Coral Bay from the comfort of the shower. The floors in the house are gorgeous, I would love them in my own home. Comfortable bed, great airflow so you do not miss A/C at all. The decks are both great, fun to sit out and watch the little birds eating sugar and lizards in the treetops. Coral bay is close by and there are great places to eat there if you don't feel like using the kitchen or the grill. (we put both to good use) Once you get the roads down, nothing is hard to get to on St. John. The house was a good fit for our little family of 3. While the property itself is great and we do tell everyone that it was a great place to stay, the on-island manager was a little disappointment. She emailed us as we were leaving to tell us the original house we were supposed to stay in of the two properties, we would not be in and she was putting us in Just enough. (the two properties are right next to each other) Instead of meeting us to get us in the property, she sent a "friend", and she also had that "friend" give us his car for the first two days because she double booked the car we rented from her, but chose to tell us it was being repaired. (we saw the people who were in the other cottage using it so we knew it wasn't being repaired it was there when they were and we saw them drive it and they left the keys in it for us when they left.) The "friend" had his own opinions on her and shared them, but he was super helpful anytime we talked to him. We also had an issue the night before we left with the lock box and being as she is nearly impossible to get a hold of, it was a really stressful last night of the vacation waiting on her to make an effort to contact us back. I think, but I can't be sure, but we might have seen the property manager once, but it also might have been the cleaning lady for the other cottage. Also we were there for 9 nights and a refresh of towels would have been nice, they tend to get stinky. All in all the property itself is great, and if you do not need the manager or you have the patience, its a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it for a rather relaxing stay."
