  • A beautiful villa

"I enjoyed my stay at Carribean Jewels. The pool is heavenly. The house is very comfortable and in very good shape. My only disappointment was the chaise lounge in the pictures was not there. The out door furniture was lovely just not what was pictured and no umbrella at the table. I would. One back here in a heartbeat but would come in the winter as the great room is not air conditioned. A wonderful surprise was in the fridge, a basket with delicious food which meant I didn't have to run out for groceries!"

  • Island Paradise

"Sea Shore Allure has everything you will want or need while staying in this island paradise. It is located in close proximity to all of the fabulous beaches on the island as well as close to the downtown shops and restaurants. The property is very clean and well maintained. The photos and description in the listing are spot fact it is better in person (if that is possible). I would recommend this property to everyone. Thank you Sea Shore Allure for making our vacation one to remember."

  • Very relaxing!

"Eric and Paula made us feel very welcome, then left us alone to enjoy St John. Property close to grocery store, Cruz Bay. Easy drive to north shore beaches. We had use of the pool for those days we just wanted to stay "home ". Would recommend this property - better than a condo. Hate to leave!"

  • Holidays in St. John

"Destination St. John Rentals was amazing throughout the rental process. They communicated effectively and often, met us at the ferry dock and escorted us to the condo. There was a wonderful welcome basket with a few snacks from a local deli compliments of Destination St. John too. This was a nice touch and our family very much enjoyed this after a long day of travel. Poolside Gardens at Palm Terrace was clean, bright, very spacious and decorated beautifully. There was more than enough room for our entire family of six (there was room for more). Kitchen was large and many staple items were in the condo from previous guests, sort of like a community pantry. Be sure to check all of the cabinets when acclimating yourself as many kitchen essentials are tucked away. We often had difficulty finding a particular item but located it several days later when using other kitchen amenities. There was a shortage of baking pans and the condo could use a larger skillet (especially when cooking breakfast for large families). Check the spice cabinet before you head to the store as there were several commonly used spices in the cabinet already. Laundry, dishwasher detergent along with dish soap were also included. There is a binder that provides information on what to do and what to expect at each of the famous beaches you can visit on St. John. Beach chairs and ice chest is provided. There was even snorkeling equipment for guests to use. The pool was clean but very small and cold in December. A few personal observations: There was a view from the condo, but not as grand as other places we have stayed on St. John. Couch was not very comfortable and would not stay together (two piece sectional). The lack of water pressure was very frustrating, many of the women in our party had to rinse the conditioner out of their hair in the pool. We did notice that when other guests were not home in the building that the pressure was somewhat better. If anyone in your party has difficulty with stairs, Poolside Gardens may not be the right rental for you. No bath tub if you have small children or if you prefer baths. TV in the living room had challenges during our stay as it was always snowy without a clear picture. Buy bagged ice. Don't rely on the icemaker in the fridge as it never made a full load of ice."
