  • Great view, secluded location, with access to resort amenities!

"Brian and I loved our stay at Barbara's beautiful condo! Great views of the bay and other islands - you almost feel like you have the resort to yourself! The place itself is well-maintained and has everything you need for your stay: full kitchen, beach chairs you can borrow, and even a blender so you can make your own cocktails! We loved having breakfast on the balcony and taking in the views before beginning our day. Barbara also pays the resort fees so you have access to: free shuttles to redhook, clean beach towels, snorkel gear, and access to a great resort staff. We also loved having access to 3 pools on site and 3 beaches within walking distance (4 if you include swimming). Highly recommend for anyone wanting the convenience of a resort with the independence of a homeaway stay!"

  • Our St. Thomas oasis.

"We were blessed with perfect weather during our stay. We used the fully functional kitchen for the majority of our meals. To us, the best part of Max's place is her wonderful porch that provides plenty of shade or sun, whichever you prefer. It's elevated view allows many islands to be seen, close and on the horizon and overlooks the Red Hook mooring field. The sunrises can be spectacular. If you've driven on the island before, you understand steep hills and switchbacks and this road/driveway is similar. Max and Chris are wonderful hosts that will help in any way and offer great tips (Lindquist Beach, XO, etc). We appreciated Louie & Eva's company too. We hope to return!"

  • Great Location, Great Little Villa!

"A small, cozy but airy studio villa with a phenomenal view. When all the sliding doors are open on the wrap-around balcony (a feature that not all condos at Pt. Pleasant have), it feels like you're completely outside; it's just lovely! At night, the waves were my favorite lullaby. Only steps away from the lower pool and the Surfside Grille. Very hilly area, so lots of exercise just walking about. The condo is clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. Close to Red Hook for the ferry to the other islands (St. John's is a must-see for at least a day trip), and lots of restaurants and grocery shopping (Moe's is a bit more expensive than Food Center but such great treats to be found!) The only downside, and this is absolutely no fault of the owner (Alan, who is THE nicest and most responsive host!!) or Pt. Pleasant, but the music from the Margaritaville resort, located just down the bay, can sometimes be a bit intrusive. Same goes for Coki Beach, which is directly across the bay. If you like hearing music, though, then you're in for a treat. It usually ends around 9:30 PM."

  • Gorgeous, clean, comfortable... truly paradise at your doorstep!

"The property and grounds were fantastic and exactly as described, if not even better, as it's hard to put such beauty into words. The condo itself has a great layout, comfortable furnishings, and all the amenities you need for your stay to feel like home (AC, wireless internet, kitchen wares, beach chairs, clean linens/towels, basic toiletries, etc.). The ocean views are absolutely unreal. When I could finally pull myself away from that great deck, I enjoyed any one of the three pools on the grounds (especially the gorgeous terrace pool), nearby Coki Beach (great for snorkeling), and Coral World, all of which are a short walk away. The Shoreline Grill is extremely close by with a pleasant ambience and surprisingly delicious food. For farther excursions, we got by just fine with taxis and the safari bus; others may enjoy the freedom/convenience a car provides. Finally, Leslie was a fantastic and exceptionally responsive host. All details were worked out in advance and played out smoothly. She even took the time to give me a call in advance to help me get the lay of the land and offer some very helpful arrival tips. Absolutely a great stay with no complaints other than it ended too soon!"
