  • Excellent Location!

"Just returned from a four night stay at Crystal Cove and staying at Peggy and Bills place. I have to say, I am always worried or concerned when renting a place, but this condo is exactly what is says. Its clean, comfortable and the best location on a beautiful beach(literally only steps away). Sapphire Beach is a very beautiful beach, with water that has the most amazing shades of blue. The water is very calm, and their is great snorkeling there as well. We saw stingrays, loads of fish, and even a baby sand shark! As for the condo, it is exactly what is pictured in photos. The beds were comfortable, even the murphy beds, which surprised me...my kids fought over who slept on them, lol. Kitchen was clean and had every item you could possibly need. And three full bathrooms, was definitely a plus. I imagine the condos were built in the 60s. so somethings are outdated, but we were here for the beach, which did not disappoint. Peggy was a pleasure to deal with. Spoke on phone with her, and gave me plenty of suggestions on where to shop, eat, and how to get around. Her daughter also prepurchased groceries for us which was very convenient. Paid a small fee, but definitely was worth it to have the basics waiting for us. Food is expensive so I would try to pack some things that you can. Overall the trip was excellent. Condo was clean and comfortable, which is my top priority. We will definitely be coming back, and staying here again if they will have us! Thanks Peggy and BIll"

  • Beautiful view!

"The view is breathtaking!!! We had everything we needed from snorkel gear to kitchen appliances for cooking meals. Also close to red hook, we even walked a few times. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it!"

  • Doesn't get much better!

"All I can say is WOW. What an incredible time we had visiting the Virgin Islands! This condo was perfect in every way. You literally could not be closer to the ocean. The location on the East End is perfect; you are so close to all the restaurants and the ferry in Red Hook. We did rent a car...however, if we did it again, we would probably go the taxi route. Finding a free parking space in Red Hook takes a miracle. You could pay to park in the ferry parking lot, or other lots in the area, but at that point, you might as well have taken a taxi. Overall, the taxi fees would add up, but I think it would come out cheaper and MUCH less stressful than having your own car. The roads are treacherous! There were several times we took a taxi to dinner because we were too "hangry" to deal with the parking issue. Always a taxi available outside building A. Anyway, just my two cents :) During our stay we enjoyed snorkeling and lounging at our own beach, and also went over to St John (hiked to Honeymoon Beach--must do!), and took a day to go to the Virgin Gorda, BVI (another must see!). Oh, and we did the Mangroove Lagoon kayak, hike, and snorkel tour through St Thomas Ecotours--very close to this condo and a wonderful experience! Overall we would not hesitate to stay in Beachtacular again and again! Bernard was awesome with any questions we had. Thanks again! We have no choice but to return! :)"

  • Wonderful Condo

"We just returned from a girls getaway weekend on St. Thomas. This condo is in a great location and we had a wonderful time. The owners were very kind and easy to work with. The condo is pushed back from the beach a little bit but there is a beautiful view from the balcony and an easy walk down to the beach and marina at the Sapphire Resort. We didn't rent a car while we were visiting. Taxi service from the airport was easy to arrange and the walk into the town of Red Hook (and to the ferry to St. John) is about half a mile. The road is not the best for walking along but we would usually walk down and take a taxi back pretty easily. Sapphire also has a pool and a bar which were both great once the sun went down. The condo is homey and we cooked in most nights using the equipped kitchen. The owners provided towels, beach chairs, and floats which made flying over without checked luggage easy! The condo had everything we needed and we were sad to have to leave. We'd all go back in a heartbeat!"
