  • Great Location

"We just stayed at this condo last week. It was clean, comfortable and spacious; perfect for 4. The greatest thing about it was the location. It was literally a few steps from Sapphire Bay beach; one of the most beautiful beaches on St. Thomas. The snorkeling was great, lots of coral, and the view of St. John and BVI's...spectacular! I thought the condo was priced appropriately. It could use just a little TLC: The vertical blinds in the master are falling apart; grout in at least one of the baths needs fixed; range hood was old, dirty and had no light bulb and the dryer vent was clogged with lint that we could not get out. Also the beds in the second bedroom are tiny; they did not appear to be twin sized beds, they were smaller. Standard twin sized beds would be nicer; that way an adult could still sleep in those and not hang over the edges. All little things, nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. Overall this was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it."

  • Beautiful Beach Getaway

"We just got back from a 7 day stay at Sapphire Beach in Hong's condo. It was a truly amazing trip. The condo is exceptionally located right on the beach with beautiful views of the water. The beach itself is well maintained and free chairs are included in the stay. The cruise patrons stay farther down the beach so the area in front of the condos is almost empty with plenty of space to spread out. The pool was nice and clean but the bar appears to have been closed indefinitely, but there is a bar/food towards the public side of Sapphire. Parking is very easy and the condos itself are gated - we rented a car so we could explore the island. I would recommend going further into the island to do any grocery shopping (Plaza Extra) as the shops in Red Hook are expensive - but they are very close with only a 2-3 min drive. We are at a few places close by (Senor Pizza we thought was great and the pizza was huge). The only word of caution is if you are a light sleeper we would recommend earplugs - we had some college students above us that stayed up late and you can hear all the noises through the walls and ceilings (mostly chairs/furniture moving) and there are numerous roosters on the property that begin there day around 4 am haha - but after some earplugs we slept soundly through the night. The condo is well equipped and has all the items needed from pots and pans to linens and towels (including 2 beach towels) and snorkeling equipment. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable vacation!"

  • Plenty of room for everyone

"My husband and I have stayed at Point Pleasant in the past but wanted to experience the hill top units. There are wonderful views and it's quieter than being down in the lower units. The hilltop pool is nice and private and has good late day sun. Our college age son was traveling with us this trip so having the extra bedroom was a plus along with 2 bathrooms. The condo is very spacious and has plenty of amenities including towels, kitchen items and dry pantry goods. Some people don't care for the steepness of the resort but personally we don't mind. It's good daily exercise walking up and down to pools and restaurants. We love the nature trails throughout the property as well. The location of Point Pleasant makes it easy to walk over to Margaritaville and Coki Beach for a change of scenery. You can even swim around the break wall and hang on Sugar Bay Resort beach as well. There is really good snorkeling at Sugar Beach at the resort as well although the wind was strong which made the water pretty rough this trip but in the past it's been very good."

  • Excellent condo in a serene location

"We stayed in the condo for one week in December - the location is perfect and very secluded. The condo is on the first floor of a 4 unit building in the far end of the condo complex. We found that is not very easy to navigate to the Cabrita at the Sea condos in the middle of the night for the first time but the owners provided detailed instructions just before our arrival so after a couple of missed turns we got there. If you find yourself at the Ritz (which we did) , it means you missed the left turn :) - it is not marked at all. The condo had everything we needed with all necessary kitchen staples (pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc). The selection of TV programs is extremely limited there so we enjoyed the sea, the air and the clear starry sky :). We would definitely come back!"
