  • Fabulous!

"Beautifully laid out and furnished, Alice by the Sea is a fabulous getaway. The owner has thought out every last detail needed for a relaxed stay. Gorgeous views from your own private balcony, thoughtful amenities (even beach totes!), even an outdoor kitchen by the pool. We will be back."

  • A True Treasure

"As soon as we walked in the front door we were in awe of the amazing views. Our stay at Treasure Ridge was a true Treasure. Our accommodations were perfect for two couples. There is a third bedroom which is accessed outside by the pool so could have had another couple too. The house was perfect and well equipped. We always made a point of returning each night to see the incredible sunsets. Loved cooking dinner at the villa enjoying the outside upper deck with the amazing views. Pool was nice and we spent a lot of time around it too. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms really nice. Very clean and comfortable and well decorated in a casual island way. Beach Chairs Beach towels coolers were nice to have. Location also was perfect . Easy drive to town and beaches. We would definitely stay here again. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and this was one of the nicest and easiest from booking , check in, and check out. Highly recommend Destination to work with."

  • Excellent

"Lovely accommodations and views and I really liked Maxine's dogs Louie and Eva who came over and visited every day. I really liked the bathroom especially the shower and a great kitchen. A steep hike up a paved road that I did not mind but you should be aware of if you don't have a car. Great views of the harbor from a pretty terrace. Sounds of the town partying is heard at night and it can be difficult to sleep if the temp is warm but both should be able to be remedied by turning on the AC that I should of used. Gracious hosts."

  • BVI Cruising

"We chartered One Love with Danielle and Steve over Xmas week. Our family of five had a great time and Steve and Danielle did a great job. It was an experience we would do again and frankly plan on chartering a slightly larger cat next year. While everything worked out fine, there were a couple of areas that hold me back on an excellent rating. I originally chartered based off the reviews listed here and the website Those reviews were glowing regarding Bob and Debbie and the "gourmet" style of the menu choices. I found out about 3 weeks before the trip that Bob and Debbie had left and that Steve and Danielle had been hired. I found this out not through proactive communication to reset expectations but by me noticing the names had changed and asking the question. While Danielle did an very nice job on the food, it was different than what we had originally signed up for. Michael then offered me a "half board" option to eat more meals ashore but this was not why we wanted to charter this boat in the first place. The day prior to us leaving, he emailed me to tell me he could no longer pick us up as per the agreement and for us to find our own transportation (he did reimburse us) and that he wasn't able to secure an extra Kayak that he had agreed to provide 9 months earlier (for those of you that have been to the BVI, there are dozens of places to rent kayaks). The two stand up paddleboards listed on the site ended up being one inflatable paddleboard which had a hole in it and could not be used. Steve rented another one for us a couple of days into the trip. With three teenagers, having the toys was important. What really bugged me was the wifi didn't work. I emailed him a couple of days into the trip that I needed to connect for work and I would let the family use my hotspot but asked him to reimburse me the cost. The wifi was fixed on day 4/5 and I never heard back from Michael on reimbursement. When you spend $15k for a week, expectations are important and Michael fell short of meeting ours and no effort was made to make up for those misses. While I would recommend Steve and Danielle, I would be very clear about expectation because the website does not accurately reflect the experience that you think your paying for."
