  • Great trip to St. Thomas

"Spent a terrific week over February vacation in this unit and loved every minute of our trip. The unit is in excellent condition and comes with two large bedrooms, living room, kitchen and terrace. The Ritz has five restaurants, tons of water sports, tennis courts, great pools and beautiful beaches. Our favorite restaurant was the Grand Palazzo Club which was upstairs in our building. One day we hired a captain take us out on a boat to spent time snorkeling and enjoying the beaches of St John. On the way back we stopped at Pizza Pi (a floating pizza boat). It was an amazing day....one that the kids won't forget. We have been fortunate to vacation in several spots and I must say that my 9 & 7 year old girls found this to be one of their favorites. We all loved it! I spoke with the owner in advance and everything was exactly as he promised. I would highly recommend this property and working with this owner."

  • Great Owner and property is ideal for a quiet vacay!

"My 12 year old grand sailed in a regatta at the St Thomas Yacht Club that is just paces from the pool at the Anchorage. I asked her to comment on the condo and she said, "pretty" and "Amazing!" The view is spectacular from this 3rd floor unit and the condo is large with 3 bedrooms. The furnishings are just fine for a beach place and they are cute. The large porch is perfect for reading, watching the sailing and just being quiet. 12 days without car noise, pollution, and all of the hurried confusion of a city in this quiet place was terrific, clean, lots of towels (beach and bath), games, books to read, great TV and Cable (a must when you have kids). New front loading W/D and good dishwasher were a plus and it is located within a mile of Red Hook and great pizza and home made ice cream! The tennis courts are in great shape and there is a gym as well. We had a car (very cheap through Thrifty) and used it to go to St. John for a day trip and many trips to Red Hook for casual suppers, shopping for groceries and sun tan spray at Moes. Made one trip to KMart. Picked up friends at the airport. Tiny island really and while the distance is short the windy roads and slower traffic made for a 40 min drive to the airport. About the owner: Don Norkus is without a doubt the nicest and most patient owner ever. We had a zillion questions and an a/c issue and he was right on top of all that was going on. After the A/C issue was fixed, he treated us to a fancy dinner at the nicest place about 5 min away from the condo.I would definitely want to rent his unit again. About the APP: Definitely a great way to communicate and have all information you need at your fingertips (WiFi passwords, contacts, recommendations for restuarants, etc)."

  • Location is best asset

"We took a family trip to Sapphire Delmar. We rented a car, which I highly recommend for St Thomas in general. It took about 30-45 minutes from the airport. Just a tip, GPS work on phones even if you don't have service on the island! That was very helpful, as roads are not marked well. The owner and manager were both reachable before we arrived. The condo is located in the Sapphire Beach Resort. There are 4 buildings (A-D), this one is on the ground level of the B building. There is free parking outside of the building. The condo itself is one long studio, with the patio doors acting as the source of light. The convenience of being on the ground floor, a few feet away from the water, was truly the best asset of the condo. The beach was clean with good snorkeling. The condo itself is dated, but clean. Double sink, shower (no tub), toiletries, safe, phone, king-sized bed, full kitchen, flat screen TV with satellite stations, fold out sofa, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and sand toys were provided. Minor things that were an inconvenience, depending on your level of tolerance on vacation: condo was a bit dark and one of the light fixtures was broken the entire time (manager stated unable to fix); no dish soap/sponge so bring/buy your own; internet connection was slow and intermittent, had to restart the router several times a day. We used the laundry machines at the marina which was sufficient. The pool was small, cold, empty. I would suggest perhaps having a binder of local restaurants/delivery, map, suggestions, contact info as these things were difficult to obtain with the spotty internet. I recommend in Red Hook - Fresh Market for produce/wine/beer, Lattes in Paradise for morning coffee/breakfast, Pesce for a nice Italian dinner. Overall, we had a great trip with minor inconveniences that I wish could've been resolved."

  • Beautiful View

"Thank you for allowing me to stay in your beautiful condo. It is exactly how it is described, clean, nicely decorated, beautiful breathtaking views from the deck, never got tired of them. Nice treat to have ice already In freezer, it's the little things. Perfect location to get to Red Hook by Safarri, did not rent a car but had no problem getting around. People in complex very friendly. Sapphire Bar and Grill has a great chef, Lacey, who made some fabulous meals. You are very lucky to have this condo and willing to share. Look forward to returning."
