  • Lovely property, great stay

"We spent a week at this property, after spending a few days on St. John. The property is lovely. There is a large patio with tables and chairs where we sat in the morning and drank our coffee while listening to the birds and the sounds of the town waking up. There are trees right by the patio, so it is always shaded, and plenty of birds and hummingbirds. It gave a feeling of being away from the town, but the property is very close to town. There is a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. All very clean and everything we needed was there. The hosts made sure we were taken care of. Chris met us at the plaza when we arrived and led us up to the property. We had one minor mechanical issue during our stay and Chris took care of it immediately. Maxine gave us recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and things to do (and also steered us away from a couple of things we were thinking of, which was also appreciated). It was a very relaxing week, I would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Perfect Hideaway at the Beach

"We loved Tom's condo at Sapphire Village in St. Thomas! The condo was exactly as described in the listing and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was handy, as food can be expensive in St. Thomas, and having the option to get groceries and cook some of our own meals was ideal for a traveler on a budget. The condo came with everything we needed for the beach; chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear, etc...We basically arrived at the condo from the airport, put on our swim suits and were on the beach within the hour. The studio was plenty of room for the two of us, and the balcony views over the Marina were perfect for morning breakfasts and evening sunsets. Overall, we loved the condo, and loved working with Tom. He was super knowledgable and provided us with all the details we needed to make sure our trip was a smooth success. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Paradise on St. Thomas!

"We are a family of 4 who stayed at Beachtops for 5 nights. This place is wonderful! It is technically a 3 bedroom unit, but we only used 2 of the bedrooms and closed off the upstairs bedroom, and she prices depending on how many bedrooms will be needed. This unit had everything we needed, was very clean and nicely furnished, and the owner was wonderful to deal with. There are plenty of bath and beach towels. There is a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a grill on the porch (electric). There is also an area to eat and relax out on the porch, as well as plenty of room to hang towels and wet bathing suits at the end of the day. There is also snorkel gear, although 2 of the masks had broken straps (which I forgot to mention to June) but we made one of them work for one of the kids, floats, beach chairs and coolers/ice packs. The views from this unit overlooking Cowpet Bay are beautiful, and it is literally less than a 1 minute walk to the beach. You also have rights to the pool at the Elysian, which is the property right next door, and the pool is probably a 2 minute walk from this unit. The pool is very nice, big and has a hot tub and beach bar for the adults, and my kids loved the iguana that lives there! There are also 2 restaurants on the property. Cowpet Bay is about a 5 minute drive from Red Hook where there are more restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Red Hook is also where you can catch the ferry over to St. John (but the parking lot fills up quickly in the morning so you may need to park across the street). This condo is a 10 min drive to Coki Beach or Lindquist Beach, about 30 min to Magens Bay, about 30 min to the Ziplines, and about 30 min to Charlotte Amalie. We did have a car which was very convenient, but you certainly don't need one if you want to just relax on the property or walk over to the Ritz. Overall, this place was great. June was lovely, very helpful in making recommendations for restaurants, stores, etc., and she even brought us a plant from a tree in her yard that blooms every night at 7:07. It wasn't much to look at before it blooms, sort of looks like a ripe banana, but watching it bloom and the flower that emerges is amazing! It was sweet of her to share that with us:) I would recommend this condo to anyone coming to St. Thomas, it was great for our family, but would work for 2 or 3 couples as well."
