  • Nice condo with a great view

"This is a very comfortable, nicely decorated condo in a great location with just a few drawbacks. The view from both balconies is amazing. It's located next to the marina on the quiet side of the beach. The beach itself in front of the condo is rocky but it's a short walk to the really nice sandy part of the beach. The snorkeling is really good. There are a lot of fish and coral and the water is clear and warm. We took our own snorkeling gear but I think there is some there to use. There are also beach chairs and a cooler which is nice. There is no dishwasher or oven in the condo. There also was no dish soap or trash bags which would have been nice. Its a short cab ride to town, expect to pay $4/person each way, or take the dollar bus into town. It only goes one way though. Walking to town is not an option. The condo could use a little maintenance. The downstairs bathroom door doesn't close (broken jam) and neither sliding patio screen door works very well. We also couldn't get the lights over the kitchen counter to come on, maybe operator error? All in all it's a really nice place though, and we had a great time!"

  • exactly as billed

"This place was perfect and I can not find any more superlatives than what has been mentioned in all the previous reviews, so I won't try. Jonathon was great to work with. I will caution that the resort no longer offers the package price for shuttle, water toys, etc. to guests outside of the resort's management company. This was, in no way, an inconvenience for us. In fact, it probably saved me a bit of money. Thanks Jonathon"

  • Paradise Found

"Today is our 5th day in St. Thomas and Nancy's condo; I'm actually writing this from the balcony. The condo is great - perfect location with easy beach and pool access (some steps involved but worth it for the view from the condo). The bedrooms are spacious, beds comfy, and there is plenty of room inside and on any of the three (!) balconies for our family to relax together. Washer and dryer are in the unit and detergent and dryer sheets available. Kitchen is stocked with all necessities. Towels and sheets provided in each of the three bathrooms and beds. We've spent mornings at the beach - which has a sectioned off swimming area and plenty of lounge chairs (not sure why the condo would need extra chairs since there is plenty of them at the beach and pool). You can rent snorkeling equipment, kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats on the beach. We picked up beach towels from the front desk and didn't have to leave a card number or make a deposit. Bring more sunscreen than you planned on! You'll need it and it's $18 per spray bottle on the beach. The pool is just as nice, lots of room to swim (including into the grotto). Bar attached to the pool is convenient. Look for large iguanas at the pool; they won't bother you but they are fun to watch! We've eaten at both on-site restaurants. The Fish Market has better quality/ tasting food, but less choices for our teenagers. Sangria is less fancy (bathing attire seems ok); Try the fish tacos, you won't be disappointed! It called for rain the entire week, but we've had mostly sunny skies anyway. Yesterday we took the kids to Coral World. What a great time! Definitely recommend going; try to be there for feeding times. And I highly recommend swimming with the Sea Lions!! Nancy has a great place and we can't wait to come back!!"

  • A fantastic week on the East End of St. Thomas

"We had never been to St. Thomas before deciding to spend 6 days there in March/April. There aren't all that many hotels on the island, so a home or condo definitely looked like the way to go. We wondered about East End vs the north side of the island, but decided being close to the various things on the East End (including ferry terminal at Red Hook) would work best for us, particularly because we were traveling with a 6 month old and didn't want to get stuck too far from the house. Turned out to be a great choice for us. Choosing this particular house was a bit random, but was an incredibly fortuitous decision! This is a fantastic place that worked wonderfully well for our family. It is situated on the hill (as all of the houses on the island are - there are almost no houses right on the beach) overlooking the harbor and ferry dock at Red Hook - a very nice sight to wake up to in the morning. Secret Harbour Beach is just down the hill, perhaps an 8 or 9 minute walk, and we found that to be a great little place to hang out as well. The house itself worked perfectly for us. 3 bedrooms, each with a queen or double bed, and one of the bedrooms has an extra twin if needed. The kitchen was very nicely equipped, and the living room with a great view was spacious and very comfortable. Working with the manager was very easy. She was very responsive to email and since she lives right across the road she was both accessible and very helpful with recommendations on all sorts of things."
