  • Great house BEST LOCATION

"Rented from Sam again (she rocks) and stayed on the east end. The house, views, pool and amenities are perfect. The BEST part is it is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach has a Cruzan Beach grill that opens at 8am daily (tell Nate we said hi). Also has a dive shop. So just bring your towels and credit card and tan the day away. Red Hook is a quick 5 dollar cab ride away, so even though you have plenty of parking for a rental you can skip it if you choose. Our best stay ever on all of VI."

  • Stunning

"My husband and I had the good fortune to spend 4 weeks at Peter and Beverly's absolutely beautiful condo on Sapphire Beach. Our late evening arrival made it difficult to get a good look at our surroundings but upon opening the door to the condo we walked into the beautifully decorated condo that appears exactly as it does on the VRBO website. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and gadget you can think of, as well as dinnerware, glassware, pots and pans. We used the small George Foreman for steaks, burgers, hotdogs, chops, etc. We had most of our meals in house and with the full size frig it was easy to stock up for a week at a time. Baths were more than adequate as well - great water pressure and shower heads, and Redken hair products. Those may seem like silly comments but how many times have you stayed somewhere with a lousy shower? The views from the two decks are simply indescribable. The water is gorgeous, you can see the marina and watch the boats move in and out; Shark Island, St. John, and many other islands are part of the landscape. We saw many weddings on the point as it is a beautiful venue for a memorable day. Building E is prime for views and privacy. We also preferred to be on the upper floors as it assured complete quiet (except for the sound of the surf) and privacy. The condo itself is exactly what I would want if I were so fortunate to have a vacation home. The decorating is up to date and isn't a throwback to the 80's or 90's. In two words - tasteful and classy. Comfortable and relaxing as well. I just can't say enough. We spent the day at St. John and would highly recommend. Enjoyed the ferry ride over and be sure and sit upstairs on the deck outside. Shopped at Havensight (okay) and had a manicure at The Four Seasons (beautiful grounds but not our style). Too foo-foo for us. The grounds at Sapphire are beautiful and natural to island life. Had dinner at Pesce's and Fish Tails. Great meal at Pesce's and the location at Fish Tails is great - you're right on the water. We were blessed with perfect weather for all four weeks; high 83, lows 73-76; rained at night a few times. Breezy. We hated to leave Sapphire and have been home for a week. We had such a wonderful time we are going back next year for another 4 weeks! Peter and Beverly are so easy to work with and always available to assist with any question you might have. We highly, highly recommend this property!!!"

  • Great family stay!

"Overall, staying in this property was a great experience. The beach is beautiful in front of this unit and you will have most of what you need on site. A couple of things I wish I had known prior to booking was that there is construction going on at the property ( August 2016). This is in building B, but the neighboring building C had major construction going on during our visit, so all day you heard heavy machinery at work, found nails and screws on the walkways and in parking lot and it was generally an eye sore. As a side note, I don't know if it's related to the construction or not, but the tap water sometimes ran a slightly brown color. Also, when we had neighbors, you could hear them perfectly from upstairs, but not downstairs in the unit. Also, we had a coffee maker but no filters, a dishwasher but no dish detergent and there were no blankets for the foldout beds upon our arrival. I emailed the property owner and by the 2nd day, two blankets were delivered. It was very convenient to have snorkel equipment, beach towels and lounge chairs included in our stay. There is some good snorkeling to be done on this little beach. I would suggest the owners provide a cooler of some sort so that guests going out for excursions can make and take food with them since that's one of the benefits of staying in a villa. Other than the above, this unit was well appointed and comfortable for our stay. For a family vacation, I would consider staying here again."

  • The view is awesome and the owners are awesome too

"We had the most wonderful vacation at Treetops. We have visited St.Thomas since 2001 and had stayed at the same place over the years. We were disappointed that our regular spot was not available this year, but we found a new favorite at Treetops. It is in the best place on the island high above RedHook on the east end close to the ferry dock to St. John and we found the hosts and the accomdations delightful. June could not have been more accomdating and we instantly felt welcome and at home. The unit is clean and well maintained and we got new living room furniture delivered during our stay. The property is up a steep hill so rent a 4 wheel drive if you plan to drive or get ready for a nice walk down the hill and back up after your evening. June the owner offered to pick us up after our day trip to St. John and we called her when we got back and she drove down the hill to fetch us. I really enjoyed the layout of the unit with dual master suites, a lovely living and dining area and a very well equipped kitchen with every thing we needed for the meals we cooked in. We even got a Rotary club discount dining book (recommended ad delivered by June)that had Buy 1 Get 1 free meals in many of the restaurants in Red Hook and other parts of the island. It costs$25. but we quickly in the first day recouped the cost and saved so much more. The pool at treetops is small but perfect for a nice cool down. I enjoyed it morning, afternoon and evening. The view from the pool deck is nice also. The best feature of Treetops villa is the large wrap around veranda. We spent most of our time out there watching the boats and ferries come and go. You can really travel light when coming to Treetops because the owners provide so much. The bathroom had various sunscreens and toiletries in stock and our bath and beach towels were replenished in the middle of our 11 day stay. The kitchen also had quite a few basic provisions as well. I can't wait to return to Treetops! Thank you June and Steve for making our visit so pleasant."
