  • Fantastic experience, would love to go again soon!

"The Villa is everything you see in the photos and more, little things like kayaks and paddle boards, ocean shoes in all sizes, fishing poles to use with the kids, great ice machine with two blenders! The house is very well outfitted with everything you can imagine to host parties, 16 sets of glassware, plates, you name it. Curlson met us at the airport and shuttled us to the house, gave us an overview of the house and area - very kind man and a nice touch to start the trip! The villa is quite large, plenty of room for our five couples and kids that spent two weeks here! Location can't be beat, ocean beaches on both sides and short walk to the Ritz Carlton and Redhook is a short drive. Lastly, the hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful, Bonnie called several times ahead of our trip to check in and make sure we were prepared, they gave us lots of tips and suggestions for things to do, and their cleaners, pool staff, yard maintenance people are all top notch and keep great care of the grounds."

  • Clean, comfortable beach resort

"We were pleased with our stay overall. The unit was clean and there were new dishes, silverware and coffeepot. Plenty of towels when requested, although there is only one room service per week (timeshare model). Two nights in a row there was a very rowdy, noisy group next to us, but when we told the staff they said to call security if it happened again and they would take care of it. Thankfully that group left. The beach was in a lovely spot, but could have been a bit cleaner. One day after a big washup of seaweed it took two men with rakes and a small vehicle all day to clean up the beachfront. Seems they should invest in some better equipment to do the job every day and faster. The restaurants were very nice, especially the fine dining one. We were disappointed that the sundry shop was "closed" (It said it was closed for the summer and would reopen Oct 1; this was the first week in November, so we joked that it was REALLY island time!) It meant that you couldn't buy things on the grounds such as bottled water, juices, snacks, and toiletries. However, the staff was very generous in handing out whatever they had of the hotel sundries free of charge (shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, etc.) Transportation was readily available and the staff was great....friendly, welcoming, helpful."

  • Absolutely wonderful

"A superb stay all around. Clean, pretty, spacious, full of necessary amenities, helpful service and welcoming all around. Great location which is convenient to Red Hook (most of the restaurants, bars and ferry to St. John). The pictures don't do it justice. Had a lovely and fantastic time and zero complaints. Couldn't recommend it more."

  • Cozy studio by the beach

"Very impressed with our stay at starfish studio. The place was nice and clean when we arrived. Superb location, we could see the beach from the window & red hook is only a short drive away where there is plenty of restaurants and shopping. Overall my girlfriend and I had an excellent stay and definitely would stay there again!!!"
