  • Great Location and Wonderful Host!

"My girlfriend and I stayed at Pineapple Village for four days. We had a fantastic time. The villa was perfect for what we needed. Our flight home on the last day wasn't until later in the afternoon and we were able to use the villa for the rest of the day. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back. We'll definitely be staying at Pineapple Village again. Thanks Rose!"

  • Condo was very nice.

"The condo was very nice - our only problem with the actual unit was the sliding glass doors - they have to be really pushed - my husband had to do it. They just need new wheels. The bifold doors to the bedroom were also difficult to operate. Beautiful View! We did have several issues with the resort itself - but they were handled very well by the extremely helpful lady- Vincia - at the front desk. She was a jewel! It was also very windy while we were there - so much so that we couldn't use the balconies the whole time - however this is not a problem the owner or the resort can resolve. I would recommend this unit for any future guests."

  • This condo was perfect for our island getaway!

"First - wow. The location of this condo couldn't be better. We were immediately taken with the jaw-dropping views from the two balconies. As stated, this unit is in Building "E" at the resort, which offers the best views of St. John and all the beautiful turquoise water between St. Thomas and St. John. Only the 3rd floor units (like this one) are bi-level and have two balconies, and Building E has it's own little beach - most of it rocky, but there is a 50' or so stretch of sand. It's a very short walk to Sapphire Beach proper, behind Buildings A-D, and what a beautiful beach it is. So the unit gets a big, fat A+ for location. As I mentioned, it is on the 3rd floor, so you will need to lug your suitcases up a few flights of steps, and the Master bedroom is on the 4th level, so more stairs. But only once coming and going so it's over with quick. Inside, the decor is very tasteful and beachy. But the true life of this condo is lived on those glorious balconies, where we enjoyed morning coffee, and every meal that we didn't go out for. Every day we watched the graceful pelicans gliding by our balconies as they floated over the water 50' away and nose-dived for fishy snacks. It was so cool watching them!! Getting there: We took Peter's recommendation and had Miss Brown's service meet us at the airport and take us to Food Center before going to the condo, for a total of $70. It was nice but a regular taxi will take 2 people with bags to the condo for $30, which I advise doing before going grocery shopping. The reason is that you can take stock of what's already in the pantry and fridge before you buy things like coffee, condiments, etc. There's a fair amount of stuff already there. We bought coffee and filters for instance and there was already plenty in the pantry. Also, there is a pretty good liquor collection there already, so again, take stock before you buy. I left well over half a bottle of Johnny Walker Black for someone to appreciate later on. Having this wonderful dwelling to return to after the beach or any other excursions was magical. It is very convenient to get to the St. John ferry in Red Hook - a $4 ride per person. Taxis are very easy to get, but if you plan a lot of trips to Charlotte Amalie or the North shore, you might want to consider renting a car. The taxis do add up. We are already looking ahead to the next time we will have an opportunity to vacation in St. Thomas, and hope Peter and Beverly will have us back!"

  • What a view and what a beach!

"This may just be the best hidden gem in St Thomas. Gated community which makes the beach basically private. Bar/grill on the beach serving amazing pizza and the upscale Caribbean Fish Market, also on the beach to get dressed up for an incredible dinner. Snorkeling rt off the beach as well as wonderful yacht watching as the private ships cruise by. Very close to other great snorkeling spots. Red Hook is rt around the corner to catch the car ferry to St John for a day of pristine beaches. While the condo does need a bit of upgrading, the accommodations are more than sufficient for a week or two in paradise. Plenty of kitchen utensils as well as beach toys and towels. Bob rocks as the owner/property manager! Very accommodating and always available. We have already booked again for 2018 and we haven't even left yet. Thanks Bob!"
