  • So good we came back!

"When needing a great place to stay on a budget - I thought immediately of "Condo Nightwind" in Sapphire Village. We stayed previously a few years earlier (2011) so I knew it would be a good choice for me and my friend visiting from San Francisco. The condo had a few renovations like new furniture and a great 55-inch flat screen tv wall mounted. I enjoyed the comfortable bedroom while my friend was on the couch. The closet had plenty of beach chairs and snorkel equipment - we did miss our "noodles" though! You just can't beat the location of this condo. You don't have to have a car - its walkable to the street for the $1 taxi's and walkable to Sapphire beach. Its also very close to the pool which is heaven in the late afternoon. I'd also recommend you do a daytrip on the "Nightwind" which is moored in the marina. The condo is owned by Rick and Cathy who live just upstairs if you need anything. The daysail on the "Nightwind" is the best of them all , and it will take you 2 minutes to walk to the boat from the condo. This is a comfortable nice place to stay and you cannot beat the price for the week. I have been coming to St.Thomas every year for about 5 years so I know. I've stayed in much more expensive accommodations and was'nt as comfortable and had problems with out of island owners - having A/C problems when the owner lives in New York isn't fun."

  • Perfect Property!

"Tom is an amazing owner to work with. I've rented from VRBO many times, and he is at the top of the list for the best! He answered all of my questions quickly and made sure the condo had what we needed. The condo was in a great location. A short walk to a beautiful beach and a quick drive to restaurants and the ferry. It has been updated. It has all of the necessities you need. We appreciated all of the little things like condiments, plastic wrap, leftover liquor, and beach & snorkel equipment. Thank you Tom for your top notch customer service!"

  • Priceless View!!!

"This was our first trip to St. Thomas and I was looking for a place centrally located with an ocean view. This condo was that and so much more. Initially, we didn't rent a car and it wasn't a problem taking a taxi. A car did allow us to see the island and and also St. John. The property is close to Red Hook where there are many restaurants and stores. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great vacation. Carole was easy to work with and we did not encounter any problems before or during our trip. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Doesn't get much better!

"All I can say is WOW. What an incredible time we had visiting the Virgin Islands! This condo was perfect in every way. You literally could not be closer to the ocean. The location on the East End is perfect; you are so close to all the restaurants and the ferry in Red Hook. We did rent a car...however, if we did it again, we would probably go the taxi route. Finding a free parking space in Red Hook takes a miracle. You could pay to park in the ferry parking lot, or other lots in the area, but at that point, you might as well have taken a taxi. Overall, the taxi fees would add up, but I think it would come out cheaper and MUCH less stressful than having your own car. The roads are treacherous! There were several times we took a taxi to dinner because we were too "hangry" to deal with the parking issue. Always a taxi available outside building A. Anyway, just my two cents :) During our stay we enjoyed snorkeling and lounging at our own beach, and also went over to St John (hiked to Honeymoon Beach--must do!), and took a day to go to the Virgin Gorda, BVI (another must see!). Oh, and we did the Mangroove Lagoon kayak, hike, and snorkel tour through St Thomas Ecotours--very close to this condo and a wonderful experience! Overall we would not hesitate to stay in Beachtacular again and again! Bernard was awesome with any questions we had. Thanks again! We have no choice but to return! :)"
