  • View is breathtaking

"This is a wonderful unit in Mahogany Run. The views are as breathtaking as the picture indicates, from every room in the place. The unit is well-maintained and well appointed. With all the windows and patio doors, there is always and nice breeze off the ocean, so I didn't turn the AC on the entire time I was there. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, as was Cathy, the property manager. The property is in Mahogany Run, a quiet residential development between a golf course and the ocean. There is a restaurant in the golf course. The nearest beach, Magen's Bay, is one of the best on the island and is a short (<10 min) drive away. The beaches near Red Hook ( Sapphire and Lindquist) are about 15 min away. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Red Hook. Anna's Retreat with Tutu Park Mall and Market Square East is also only about 15 min away with a full complement of pharmacy, groceries, cinema, and Kmart for anything else you may need. The photos do the property justice. I would highly recommend it."

  • Excellent Vacation!

"Our family of four (two teenagers, two adults) stayed here for one week. Upon arrival, the condo was easy to find and the detailed arrival instructions were spot on for us. Once inside, the condo is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we would need for a great stay. Even the turkish cotton bath towels and nice cookware were appreciated! The views from all the many windows are spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you rent this property. My only suggestions for improvement would be to add a full curtain to the guest room windows. The bright light in the early a.m. was hard to get used to for my teenagers."

  • Fabulous hideway with spectacular views

"We, husband and 2 young adult children, spent New Year's eve week in this lovely cottage on the hillside overlooking picturesque Magen's Bay. Ken and Joanne were wonderful hosts. They responded promptly when we inquired about renting and during the week when we had questions. Ken met us at the airport and escorted us to the home. The location was perfect for us. And what a treat to have coffee on the deck overlooking the bay. We had a rental car and were able to get to most places on the island within 10-15 minutes. The home was well-stocked with the basics and beach towels."

  • My nephews' comment more than sums it up, "I have never in my life seen a more beautiful place!"

"There are not enough characters for seven people aged 19 to 57 to describe this experience, but here's a few comments. "We had an amazing time! The best out of all the times we've come. Thank you sooooo much!" "I've died and gone to Heaven!" "I never want to leave." We saw a rainbow every day over the water, through the clouds, between and over the islands and aimed straight for "Heaven" which is where we felt we were. Not to mention the sea turtle, fish, sting ray and a few beautiful boats that passed by with friendly hand waves. My grandfather brought me to the island in 1989 after having brought my grandmother to it for 25 years prior. My husband and I shared that same experience with my children and niece and nephew on a cruise in 2010. Over the past five years, my oldest son and his girlfriend have visited the island either by cruise or hotel. Last year they became engaged at the Botanical Garden. This year was the year for all of us to revisit St. Thomas and St. John for another family vacation. Well, Scott and JoAnn, your home was more than any of us ever imagined. It provided us an opportunity to relax, REALLY relax, enjoy each others company, laugh an awful lot and to dream and plan our next visit to St. Thomas. Between the two islands and Virgin Gorda, we snorkeled 6 of 8 days at 10 different beaches seeing several sharks, octopus, sting rays, turtles and many species of fish on our snorkel adventures. We were out of the house before 8:00 AM and home after 5:00 PM. We ate a hardy breakfast each morning at your home, made sandwiches to bring with us and shared wonderful meals each night. We sank into your beautiful homey beds each night, exhausted but so filled with that days wonderful memories. None of us wanted to leave, so we are already discussing our return trip in the future. With the thousands of pictures we accumulated from our trip, many of them are of the views from your beautiful home. Don't change a thing, as perfection is difficult to find. With a warm and heartfelt thank you, The Duffy, Kyttle, Beem and Thomas Family"
