  • Beautiful home overlooking Megan's Bay

"This home was perfect for our guest situation! We had 8 people staying at the home and it was gorgeous and situated in a great location on the Peterborg peninsula overlooking Megan's Bay. The rooms are spacious and allow for great views. The kitchen is a bit small for large gatherings. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and liked the privacy and safety of having the gated access."

  • Magical!

"in the last week This house is incredible! I stayed with my boyfriend and two other friends, what a experience!!! Can't wait to go back into that piece of heaven! Beautifully structured and designed with comfort coziness feeling. I am amazed with the entire house specially for the LOVE it was added into the details it offers, such as into the careful organization of the polished silverware to the functionality of everything else that makes a house feels like home. Including but not limited in every kitchen aspect for 'Chefs-for-fun (or for real) experiences. The living room is very open and ventilated with it's fun exquisites books and curious tips in it, besides the comfy couch, blanket, sound and tv system; pool towels well placed around the house so you don't have to soak the entire floor when walking in or just cause it got unexpected chilly with the breeze... the bedrooms were super comfy with the best bed I've slept in few months (I stayed into the master suite with my boyfriend, and I can say he loved the bed as well :), the shower (one of my favorites), nice and with open windows so you can hear the nature symphony and appreciate it; I checked the other bedrooms, they were all with the same comfy bed style. The bath towels were crispy and clean with extra ones in the closets, extra everything actually! The pool was super clean so was the jacuzzi (definitely recommend after a day exploring the Island), and the view, oh my!!! The view is GORGEOUS!! Day or night! Another favorite spot was a little piece out for the back garden where you can lay at night to see how beautiful the sky is without all those city lights... It was magical! St. John has more than I imagined to be explored and I can not wait to go back, will definitely stay at Mystic Ridge Villa again!!!"

  • Beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere...

"The house was as advertised--very spacious, plenty of room for us to all be there (group of 6) and yet not feel like we were crowding each other. The caretaker met us at the airport and led us back to the house. I was really glad he did, as my Verizon phone would not work on the island (AT&T and T-Mobile seem to work though). The roads take some getting used to--left side driving on winding, narrow mountain roads. The driveway to the house involves a very sharp turn, but can be managed with care (we had a mini-van and did it, but a jeep would be better). Of note: the kitchen is a separate building from the bedroom/livingroom house. The bathrooms are all attached to the bedrooms as well. The sun deck was really cool, but there were about 70+ steep rocky stairs to get down to it. The water was pretty rough too--if you want to get in, you have to navigate the surf and the rocks. I highly recommend planning to visit one or more of St. Thomas's peaceful beaches; the waves are gentle to non-existent, and the beaches are super clean and provide bathrooms. You do have to pay to get in--per person, and also for parking. We visited the Magen's Bay beach, but there are many others that are beautiful as well. Overall, great trip. BRING BUG SPRAY."

  • Fantastic!!!!

"This villa is stunning, accessible, affordable, and a perfect opportunity to have a home base while staying on saint john. There is a grocery store that suited all of our needs located literally one minute from the villa that has alcohol, produce, meat, and a lot of other provisions. The villa is exactly as advertised and even better than the pics show. Angelo, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive all the way up to our arrival. His assistant, Kay, met us right at the ferry dock, walked us to our jeep rental (which by the way was Delbert Hill car rental provided through Angelo and was fantastic also). Kay was incredibly nice and knowledgeable and so welcoming. The villa met all of our needs, had a reasonably stocked kitchen and a barbeque grill. Just an overall awesome villa and experience."
