  • Much more than a "Slice of Heaven".

"We stayed here 3 years ago with another couple, loved it so much, and had to come back. We ended up bringing another couple along and they were AWED. The VIEWS are amazing and the condo is very spacious. The outside decks are fantastic, day and night. Loved looking for the iguanas sunning in the trees while we had coffee and mimosas in the morning. You will not be disappointed."

  • Great Stay

"We have been to St John at least a dozen times. We like the Coral Bay area as it is less hectic . We usually rent a villa on top of Beaurodeau Mountain for the views and breezes. With that being said we opted for a location on this trip that was a little closer to the water. The villa is a advertised. Being at a lower elevation allowed us to get to Coral Bay and the East End beaches faster. Also the Salt Pond area is easier to get to. But, being at a lower elevation does make it harder to enjoy the inside of the villa due to temperatures. The master bedroom does not really cool down as it has very high ceilings and a louvered door to the great room. Not sure what they were thinking with that. The lower two bedrooms are fine. The great room was usually too warm to sit during the day and it was still hot into the evening. This is not a real problem as there are great areas outside around the pool to relax. I would have given the villa 5 stars but with the issue stated above coupled with a rocky rutted dirt road leading to the villa I had to give it 4. Just be aware that many villas in the Coral Bay area do have dirt roads. Some can be much worse than the one to Secret Seashell. It did get a little old rocking over the pot holes and rocky sections. All in all a great trip."

  • Affordable Ocean Front Snorkeling

"We stayed for 21 days at the wonderful apartment. This apartment was in an upscale area. Ocean was 76 steps down from apartment. We were in better shape when we left. The ocean side deck has breathtaking views of Magens Bay. If you are an experienced snorkeler, you can climb the large and small rocks to enter to ocean. Great snorkeling was enjoyed almost daily. You will see everything in the book. It can be wavey in winter a bit so pick the calmer days. We spent a lot of time on the large deck. It has a lot of trees for shade that blocks view a bit. The trees are beautiful everywhere in the area. The apartment has everything you need but very basic. A small TV in bedroom. small loveseat and couple wicker chairs in living. We found restaurant close at flamboyan hotel- three sheets and Brooks bar also for local food. Anna's market for quick groceries. Coki beach about 15 minutes away. Magens 5 min. Dogs on site. One a bit intimidating. We enjoyed hiking around the area and the ocean access was great. Rent a two person kayak if you want to see more."

  • Amazing view, fabulous house!

"This was our 2nd trip to St John, first time residential ting a home. It was perfect!!! The view was stunning, and the layout was perfect. We had two smaller kids, and older child, and in laws and it gave everyone the perfect amount of space. It's a great location to go to town and beaches, and was very quiet. I don't think we'LL ever stay anywhere else."
