  • Perfect Seaside Cottage!

"So grateful to have found this cottage at the last minute! Hubby and I needed accommodations for 15 days and didn't relish a hotel/tourist environment. This was perfect- 8 minute walk/1 minute drive to LimeTree beach below at the Bluebeards Wyndham property, which had a great open air restaurant and pub! With the open kitchen/living area, covered deck, 2 baths and 2 large bedrooms-- there was plenty of space. The owner was very attentive via phone to make sure we had everything we needed. Wifi didn't work at first, but he had that amended within 10 minutes. We enjoyed waking up and watching from the deck, the cruise ships approaching Charlotte Amalie harbor ( and leaving, all lit up at night). The location was fantastic- central, 10 minutes into town. Clean appliances, bathrooms, nice furniture and large tv! I also enjoyed the wildlife around the house- kitty cat, chickens, pretty birds on the deck, 1 large resident iguana always in the tree out back. Thank You, Robert!"

  • Beautiful mountain retreat with nice views of cruise ships coming and going

"Love the gate, the deck, the bathrooms and the bedrooms and the layout of the living space. Every time I rent a home in St. Thomas I miss my comfortable furniture in the living room and Hawk Hill was no exception. Maybe owners feel guests aren't in need of this feature but after a day of hiking, swimming, drinking and riding in the rental jeep up and down bumpy roads, I need an upholstered resting spot. While the two bedrooms were very comfortable, no one in my family could sleep on the sofa bed, it caused back spasms. Overall, I would recommend Hawk Hill for a family of four, it was well supplied and offered plenty of space for a fun vacation. My son is a bartender at Havana Blue and it was a quick ride for the best drinks and food on the island. We also love Abi Beach and Hawk Hill was minutes away. Thank you for a great vacation at Christmas, no air conditioning needed, the breeze was amazing!"

  • 10 days of Serenity

"This was our third stay at Palms. It is the ultimate in luxury, from the chef's kitchen to the infinity pool with the most beautiful view in the Caribbean. All of your needs and wants are met here. We would stay nowhere else. Mike, the owner, is very personable and always just a phone call away to answer questions and offer suggestions on dining or tours. Grab a slice of heaven and stay at Palms at Morningstar."

  • Lovely pool, stunning views, comfortable accommodations & cooled bedroom and central location!

"My 8 year old son & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Having read previous reviews, I opted to "wait & see" on renting a car but rented one immediately the first morning. I would strongly recommend a car. (More on that at end of review.) Pool was a highlight of our trip, the view is every bit as perfect as the pictures/description. My son struggled w/ the salt water. He loved the ocean but the sea water, not as I had hoped. This reduced the snorkeling time I had anticipated greatly, but the pool was a perfect replacement, (combined w/ Coral World's "sea trek" to see/interact with a lively reef area & sea life 20 feet below) and we swam morning & night, even late nights. The unit was perfectly appointed for our needs & bedroom remained fabulously cool in 90°+ temps. Daytime breeze made the rest of the unit easily liveable. Internet was adequate, (a bit spotty for facetime/streaming a movie). Can't attest to anything regarding the TV as neither my son or I bothered to turn it on in 5 lovely days!!!! (Parenting win!) The location was lovely, just above Frenchman's cove and reef resorts. I felt a bit misled by previous reviews mentioning taking a taxi from the airport with a stop for groceries on the way. Perhaps due to our evening arrival (?), we were given only the option of a shuttle, for all practical purposes, w/ about 8 of us sharing a taxi van. There was clearly no option to stop for groceries/supplies. Luckily, the unit had a gallon of drinking water in the fridge when we arrived. Also, in 90°+ temps, walking to where we could catch a taxi/safari taxi was a bit taxing. If that's the climate you're used to, perhaps it would be fine. Add to that attempting to carry all we would want with us for the day & concern of what to do w/ any valuables while swimming/snorkeling,... I highly reccomend a car. Many reviews state the steep roads really demand a jeep, we were given a Toyota Yaris & NO difficulty getting around whatsoever. We'd stay here again!! Side ferry to St John was a great option & I also reccomend having a car on St John unless you simply want to see trunk bay & shops there. We enjoyed Cinnamon bay very much w/ very nice snorkeling right off shore. St John is a beautiful island w/ many beaches. If you like to explore, take a drive! Coral world was great! Loved "sea lion swim", "Sea trek" & the airconditioned underwater observatory. We fed & touched stingrays, saw green sea turtles & sharks. Nice aviary & iguanas everywhere."
