  • Absolutely Incredible!

"My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous vacation to St. Thomas last week! Point pleasant has the most beautiful views and the best part is this condo feels very private because of the way it's situated on the property. Everything in the condo was as stated and worked perfectly, but the views were even better than the pictures! Prior to our vacation Barbara was always responsive to my emails and helped me plan by answering all of my questions. The staff at Point Pleasant was very helpful with everything we needed while on vacation and the Shoreline Grille was great for the many times we just didn't feel like messing with leaving the property. The bartenders are fantastic!! Since Barbara pays the resort fees to allow her guests to use the amenities we were able to take advantage of the free snorkel gear for the week and were very happy we did! We also took advantage of the free shuttle to Red Hook many times. Make sure to ask where else you can shuttle for free and check out as many beaches as possible. Point Pleasant's very own, often overlooked, Sugar Beach was one of our favorites for it's privacy and excellent snorkeling, so don't be afraid to make the trek down there, it's worth it! We also went to Coki beach, Lindquist beach, Magen's Bay, and spent a day on St. John and loved every single place we visited for different reasons. If you like to explore and do something different every day of your vacation while still relaxing in one of the most beautiful places on Earth then this is the place to be and this condo is absolute perfection! (Side note: There are a lot of stairs, as others have noted. We didn't mind them at all as we're fairly young and in shape, so we didn't use the shuttle around the resort, but there is one if you need it!)"

  • Honeymoon Experience

"We had a blast during our week long stay in St. Thomas at this vrbo. We decided to opt against the all-inclusive options to save money and to explore the island and get a better taste of the culture. If you are looking to literally sit on a beach and not move on your trip, this isn't your vrbo spot. But what we liked about this choice with Jason and Dee was that we were able to really explore. We spent one day at Maegan's Bay (5-10 min drive). We spent one day at the Ritz getting massages and hanging there (10 min drive). We spent 1 day at St. John (10 min drive to ferry). We spent 1 day at Lindquist Beach (5 min drive). We spent one day at Frenchman's Reef (10 min drive). We spent a day ziplining (it was, meh.) Notice the theme? Everything is pretty convenient. Pluses: - The views each morning were awesome. - We used the hot tub every night. It was so nice. - Jason and Dee are SUPER friendly. Jason even helped me change a flat tire in our rental car (if you plan to explore, we recommend getting a rental vs. taxi's. It may be a tad more, but it's more convenient). They also provided great recommendations about the island and were very prompt in every response. They helped us get a good sense of the culture, too, which we liked. Minuses: - Not much here, but if I were to be nitpicky, the road noise off the house is a bit loud. - If you want to eat every meal in and cook yourself, this is not the place to do it. We cooked a few meals, getting local fish from Fish Tales and heading to the market, but it's a tight, ill-equipped kitchen. That said, you want to eat out if you can -- We LOVED Mafolie restaurant (5 min drive) and Havana Blue. - It's an experience getting in and out of the house property with the gate and the hill. There are no shoulders on the roads, really, so you just have to focus when you drive. - The snorkel gear isn't the best, so plan on renting some if you really will snorkel a lot. The beach chairs and towels were great, though. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay with Jason and Dee. We saved a lot of money going this route, had good access to the island, slept well on the nice bed, had wifi at our disposal if we needed it, etc. Highly recommend: Maegan's Bay, Trunk Bay, hiking to Waterlemon Cay on St. John's, Annaburg Ruins, Havana Blue Restaurant, strong drinks at Fat Turtle, getting a car rental."

  • Sea La Vie

"This was our first time in the Virgin Islands. We will be back. The property manager met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. Upon arrival, he gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. The house was beautiful and extremely roomy. There is ample outside eating area to enjoy the scenery while dining. The pool was fantastic and provided our own view of a private island. The views were breathtaking. There was a bad storm one evening, but the generator came on and we enjoyed uninterrupted electricity. I would highly recommend a stay."

  • Hello St Thomas

"Great location! We had a rental car so we came and went as we pleased. The owners were very hospitable and let us do our own thing but I know if we needed any help or advice they would of helped out. We just love exploring and figuring things out on our own."
