  • Sea La Vie

"This was our first time in the Virgin Islands. We will be back. The property manager met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. Upon arrival, he gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. The house was beautiful and extremely roomy. There is ample outside eating area to enjoy the scenery while dining. The pool was fantastic and provided our own view of a private island. The views were breathtaking. There was a bad storm one evening, but the generator came on and we enjoyed uninterrupted electricity. I would highly recommend a stay."

  • Location, Location, Location!!!

"What a great location! The condo really was just a few steps to the beach. It was a bit windy while we were visiting, but it was still just lovely. Jerry was extremely attentive in sending us before tips & tricks and was easily reachable once we arrived. Norma helped us with a few items in the condo which was great. He has plenty of snorkel gear there fitting all sizes. The kids loved it. The pool at the condo is a salt water pool and is really lovely. Parking was a bit of a pain as it's a long walk to the condo from the parking spots. They are doing construction next door which made it difficult to park near the condo and not have a long walk. I'm only commenting on the walk as we have 2 little ones, that don't help carry much luggage or groceries. The condo is located upstairs and there is no elevator. Sapphire beach is really lovely. We didn't see too much when we snorkeled, but we never went in the morning. There were many other people snorkeling while we were there, but they also commented that they didn't see too much. We went to Coki's nice, parking gets crowded, great snorkeling along the "wall", you will be asked to pay for the umbrella and or any chaise lounges you may want. The kids loved it. There are lovely people who will take your order for drinks. Music gets kind of loud the later it gets. We also went to Secret Harbor beach. That was also a lovely beach. We didn't stay too long here. We only gave this place 4 stars because the condo was not as nicely kept up as we expected. In the photos, you see 2 bathrooms with bathtubs, yet both shower/tubs could only be used as showers. We called Norma and she was able to get us a rubber stopper which helped. We would have appreciated a way to trade in our beach towels much more often as our beach towels ended up still being a bit wet the next morning. We were able to get our towels changed once in a 6 day period, and that was the day before we were leaving. The stove has 2 burners that light on its own, the other two burners require you to light it to make it work. Many of the rooms needed light bulbs to be changed. It would have only one bulb working and the other would be burnt out. The microwave is plugged into a power strip that would turn itself off, so you literally had to hold down the power button to have the micro working. There is a portable safe, but we did not have access to it. Overall, I would recommend this condo. :)"

  • A good fit for our family

"We started looking a year in advance for a place to stay while we were in St. Thomas for our 'weddingmoon' vacation. We planned to bring family, so we needed a place that would accomodate up to 11 people. As luck would have it there ended up being only 5 of us so there was more than enough room in this spaceous house. My 10 year old really loved the little pool for taking a dip, even after all the beach swimming we did. I must admit the adults enjoyed relaxing in the pool too, with a drink in hand as we watched the sun set. We loved being so close to Magens Bay as it was one of our favorite beaches, although the island is small, so the drive to Coki (our favorite beach) wasn't too bad either. The view was fantastic and comments about the amazing view came to be a running joke with our group ("I don't know if you noticed, but this place has an amazing view"). We even got a few great photos of us in our wedding attire at the house with the banyan tree or the ocean in the background. Victoria was very non intrusive during our visit, but we knew we could pop in if we needed anything. The house was a bit more run down than the pictures showed, but we came to the island to see the beaches and other sights, not to sit at the house, so we didn't mind. The kitchen was well appointed, and we had no trouble whipping up meals with the items on hand. There were plenty of towels for beach trips and a cooler for us to use to bring to the beach as well as flippers and other beach 'goodies'. The only thing that we weren't prepared for was for there to be quite so many mosquitos. We brought one can of bug spray, but it wasn't nearly enough for the week. Thankfully there was some left behind by other previous guests, as we needed to spray frequently. For those who choose to stay at the three palms the only bit of advice I have to give (other than to bring plenty of bug spray) is to be sure to peek in the refrigerator before you do your grocery shopping. There may be condiments, sauces, jellies, etc. already and it can save you the trouble of buying something that you already have. We forgot to look, and ended up buying jelly, even though there was a practically full jar there already! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would encourage those with larger groups to give three palms a try."

  • Nice Condo, Nice location!

"My family of four (Two adults, two little kids) stayed here for a few nights and found it very nice and convenient. The owner, Alan, was great to deal with - was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. The condo has a large open living, dining and kitchen space. Comfortable king bed. Easy short walk down to the beach and once on the beach you can walk for quite a while along the beach where there is a place to rent gear and a small food cart. The beach attendant was very very nice and brought us chairs and sand toys. We found it easy to walk up the driveway to the street to take the dollar bus into Red Hook and easy to catch a cab back to the Condo. We just wanted to sit on the beach for a few days but if you want to do more in St. Thomas then you would need a car. We would stay here again should we be so lucky as to vacation in the Virgin Islands again."
