  • Perfect Holiday Vacation

"Ocean Kaleidoscope Villa is perfectly located on the island of St. Thomas just north of Red Hook on an accessible road overlooking the exquisite view you see in the picture. We arrived at night unable to see the view in the nighttime darkness, and were dazzled by its beauty when we awoke the following morning. As a matter of fact, we spent a great deal of our time on the very large extended porch outside enjoying conversation with one another and the lovely view. You won't find better hosts then Gail and Curlson, who welcomed us so warmly and provided for every need that we left feeling more like cherished friends than clients. The house is immaculately clean--a top priority for me--and the layout and amenities are exactly as described. I would happily recommend this property to a friend or relative, and expect to return myself with my adult daughter (who wasn't able to travel this time). We didn't use the small pool, but that's only because we preferred the beach. Smith beach, formerly Lindquist, is within walking (and very easy driving) distance--approximately 400 yards once you've made your way down the hill to Route 38. Although we also visited Magen's Bay, the "neighborhood" beach at Smith/Lindquist was absolutely perfect for our needs: clean, fine-grain sand, gorgeous waters, uncrowded but very friendly. (I wish I were writing this review from my beach chair there! ) I definitely recommend the large spa (hot tub) right on the premises after returning from the beach. It's roomy, warm, and helps soothe tired backs from zip lining, hiking, etc. I confess that I ventured into Charlotte Amalie to enjoy one day of shopping, which was fantastic. And my adult (23, and 29) sons enjoyed more than one evening out on the town (especially Duffy's Love Shack). But the real beauty of St. Thomas is in the gorgeous natural beauty of the island, especially those turquoise waters, and the human kindness of people like Curlson and Gail ready to share their home with guests from around the world. You'll love it here! Louise, Matt, and Sean Carroll Keeley from Worcester, MA."

  • Just what the doctor ordered!

"After much research we chose this condo based on the location and great reviews. We spent 8 nights at this wonderful home and had a great time! The condo is amazing with everything and more. We found it to be very clean and well stocked with items you don't pack in your suit case. One day we wanted to pack a lunch and everything we needed was there for our excursion. The view is to die for and after looking at the other buildings we were so happy we chose this condo and building E. It has the best view of them all. Peter and Beverly did a wonderful job providing tips and suggestions to make our stay even better than expected! There is no need to look any farther, just book your stay now!!!!!"

  • Stay here! Great spot, great owner!

"Condo was spacious, clean and really nice. Perfect spot for a relaxing week in St. Thomas. Owner could not have been more helpful and thoughtful. We had a couple obstacles of our own making and Jeff went out of his way to help solve them. We felt like we were staying in an old friend's place rather than a rental. The location was perfect, right on the water on a secluded bay with hardly anyone around except the really friendly and welcoming condo residents. We will be back!"

  • Fabulous!

"We stayed for a week at Christmas and absolutely loved our time here! The views are amazing - we enjoyed having breakfast and coffee on the front porch overlooking the other islands. And it so convenient to Red Hook and the ferry. We spent several days in St John, and when we got back from the ferry, our house was just a few miles up the road. We did walk to Pelican Beach one time but the road down is steep and there are cars that drive very fast around blind corners, so not the best for walking with children. Though, Pelican beach was very nice and it's a short walk over to Sapphire Beach Club. The house itself was very accommodating for our large group and Denis was there when we arrived and was super friendly and gave us some local tips. A rental car was very helpful. I would definitely go there again. It was one of my most favorite vacations ever!"
