  • Great set up

"This unit is great because it has room for so many people. I live on island and had family staying for a family reunion. They loved the unit and really felt it was comfortable for all 4 adults. The owners were great to work with and everything was easy from start to finish."

  • Clean, safe, beautiful and easy!

"We've stayed in a few other units at Crystal Cove in the past, but this one was our favorite. Clean, large, updated kitchen and living room areas with modern appliances. Two fill LARGE bedrooms, three full bathrooms - it just can't be beat. On-site attention by Norma the property manager was top notch, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this unit for a safe, friendly, quiet family stay!"

  • Peaceful condo, beautiful view, excellent beach, all as advertised

"We visited for a week in January with our 8-month-old baby, and were delighted to have picked this condo at Sapphire Beach. The booking process with Annette was straightforward, with all of our questions answered very quickly and clearly. Annette connected us with a local taxi van driver that picked us up at the airport, stopped & waited at a grocery store while we did our full week of groceries, and drove us back to the airport at the end of our stay. The condo unit itself was great, the most important points for us being: A 20-foot walk from the patio to the water, the minimal foot traffic in front since the unit is near one end of the resort, a beautiful beach with decent snorkeling, daily towel change with a mid-week condo cleaning, and excellent onsite assistance from Kathleen. There weren't really any downsides. We did notice a lot of very small bugs on the kitchen counter every day (possibly ants?) but they were easy to get rid of and didn't cause us any problems. It would also have been nice if the resort renovations (e.g. swimming pool area) were further along, but this is dependent on the site owner rather than the condo owners and again wasn't a problem by any means. The 2 TVs with lots of channels were a nice-to-have, but not really of interest when you've got such a nice view to stare at across the water to St John. We also appreciated that it was only a 3-minute walk to the nearby "Slice" restaurant, with excellent food & drinks. During the days where it was too windy/wavy at Sapphire we took a quick taxi ride ($6 each) to Secret Harbor beach where the water was smooth as glass and the snorkeling & food were equally impressive. In terms of renting the condo for a couple with a baby or young child, it's a bit challenging in terms of bedtime although there are sliding divider doors to close off the bedroom/bathroom area so it's definitely doable. Overall we had an excellent visit and would definitely recommend this condo to others who are seeking a quiet, relaxing location with an outstanding beach."

  • A good fit for our family

"We started looking a year in advance for a place to stay while we were in St. Thomas for our 'weddingmoon' vacation. We planned to bring family, so we needed a place that would accomodate up to 11 people. As luck would have it there ended up being only 5 of us so there was more than enough room in this spaceous house. My 10 year old really loved the little pool for taking a dip, even after all the beach swimming we did. I must admit the adults enjoyed relaxing in the pool too, with a drink in hand as we watched the sun set. We loved being so close to Magens Bay as it was one of our favorite beaches, although the island is small, so the drive to Coki (our favorite beach) wasn't too bad either. The view was fantastic and comments about the amazing view came to be a running joke with our group ("I don't know if you noticed, but this place has an amazing view"). We even got a few great photos of us in our wedding attire at the house with the banyan tree or the ocean in the background. Victoria was very non intrusive during our visit, but we knew we could pop in if we needed anything. The house was a bit more run down than the pictures showed, but we came to the island to see the beaches and other sights, not to sit at the house, so we didn't mind. The kitchen was well appointed, and we had no trouble whipping up meals with the items on hand. There were plenty of towels for beach trips and a cooler for us to use to bring to the beach as well as flippers and other beach 'goodies'. The only thing that we weren't prepared for was for there to be quite so many mosquitos. We brought one can of bug spray, but it wasn't nearly enough for the week. Thankfully there was some left behind by other previous guests, as we needed to spray frequently. For those who choose to stay at the three palms the only bit of advice I have to give (other than to bring plenty of bug spray) is to be sure to peek in the refrigerator before you do your grocery shopping. There may be condiments, sauces, jellies, etc. already and it can save you the trouble of buying something that you already have. We forgot to look, and ended up buying jelly, even though there was a practically full jar there already! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would encourage those with larger groups to give three palms a try."
