  • Spectacular stay & Gorgeous view

"My husband and I stayed at the house in August and had a fantastic trip! The house is absolutely gorgeous, with breathtaking views of Magen's Bay. Magen's Bay is definitely worth visiting, but it was equally lovely spending whole days savoring the views from the house, basking in the sun, and enjoying the island breeze from the pool deck. The house itself is spacious and beautifully furnished. It has a huge kitchen/great room, which almost feels like it's an open air area, with sliding doors on both sides and amazing views. We enjoyed cooking and lounging in the great room while taking in the views and even saw a rainbow one day. Sharon, the house manager, was incredibly helpful and friendly, before our arrival. We tried some nearby restaurants, but it was just as enjoyable staying in and cooking in the fabulous kitchen. We'll look forward to visiting the house again in the future!"

  • Wonderful Stay, Thank You, Susan!

"Amazing vacation! My sister and I spent 6 Lovely nights here. I have a place on East End @ Cabrita Point, #909643, however I had guests there so stayed at Watergate Villas through vrbo. We had everything we needed, plus The View, and Restaurants on site with 3 Pools available. Iggies Rocks, Mim's Bistro has been the best on St Thomas for years in my opinion. Love Bolongo Bay and if you visit give my love to Heather Nettleman at Iggies ( everyone's favorite server and a personal friend of mine)...peace ..Maxib"

  • An Amazing House Lives Up to Great Expectations

"We booked this home for our East Coast/West Coast family months ago. I thought it was so beautiful that I looked at the photos many times before our vacation. Often high expectations can be disappointing, but not in this incidence. We loved the house - location, layout, that it was well stocked........but we especially loved the comfortable outside space with the gorgeous view. We stayed over Christmas and our biggest decision was whether to go to the beach and then open presents in the evening OR open Christmas gifts first. Since we had a split of opinions, as the mom I mediated and we opened our gifts in our bathing suits and then spent the day at Sapphire Beach! Secret Harbor was our favorite beach but we also enjoyed Coki and Trunk Bay on St. John's (parking was awful, but it's a beautiful beach.) The highlight for our 20 something granddaughters and our 40 something daughter was swimming with the sea lions at Coral World."

  • Peaceful condo, beautiful view, excellent beach, all as advertised

"We visited for a week in January with our 8-month-old baby, and were delighted to have picked this condo at Sapphire Beach. The booking process with Annette was straightforward, with all of our questions answered very quickly and clearly. Annette connected us with a local taxi van driver that picked us up at the airport, stopped & waited at a grocery store while we did our full week of groceries, and drove us back to the airport at the end of our stay. The condo unit itself was great, the most important points for us being: A 20-foot walk from the patio to the water, the minimal foot traffic in front since the unit is near one end of the resort, a beautiful beach with decent snorkeling, daily towel change with a mid-week condo cleaning, and excellent onsite assistance from Kathleen. There weren't really any downsides. We did notice a lot of very small bugs on the kitchen counter every day (possibly ants?) but they were easy to get rid of and didn't cause us any problems. It would also have been nice if the resort renovations (e.g. swimming pool area) were further along, but this is dependent on the site owner rather than the condo owners and again wasn't a problem by any means. The 2 TVs with lots of channels were a nice-to-have, but not really of interest when you've got such a nice view to stare at across the water to St John. We also appreciated that it was only a 3-minute walk to the nearby "Slice" restaurant, with excellent food & drinks. During the days where it was too windy/wavy at Sapphire we took a quick taxi ride ($6 each) to Secret Harbor beach where the water was smooth as glass and the snorkeling & food were equally impressive. In terms of renting the condo for a couple with a baby or young child, it's a bit challenging in terms of bedtime although there are sliding divider doors to close off the bedroom/bathroom area so it's definitely doable. Overall we had an excellent visit and would definitely recommend this condo to others who are seeking a quiet, relaxing location with an outstanding beach."
