  • Perfect Paradise for our Romantic Getaway

"We chose Grand Cayman as our destination to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and renew our vows. Doug was easy to work with in making the arrangements. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Jennifer who was eager to give us lots of helpful information to make our use of the property and stay on the island most enjoyable. Everything was just as represented when we booked. The condo was very clean and perfectly positioned for easy access to the Grape Tree private beach and property pool. Being only yards away from snorkeling and with the beautiful sunrises and romantic sunsets complemented by soothing waves we absolutely loved this little cottage on the doorstep of paradise. We moved our vow ceremony to the Grape Tree Beach as we realized it was perfect for us. Enjoyed the natural life of the property with its iguanas, crabs and several bird species. There are two easily accessible grocery stores to choose from. Kirk's Market is within walking distance. Foster's is minutes away by Public Bus but has more selection and better economic value. Of the several restaurants nearby we really enjoyed The Wharf for fine dining and Coconut Joe's for casual dining. Though there was some nightlife I wouldn't expect a strong party scene if this is what you are looking for. Parasailing, jet ski riding, scuba diving and lounging on the beach are all readily available along Seven Mile Beach. We found very good shopping in George Town. Often we chose to walk with backpacks so that we could soak in the island and interact with the locals. We found the people be very friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend staying at Doug's place. In fact, we can't wait to plan our next visit."

  • Feels Like Home in Paradise

"We visited for a week with family in late March/ early May, and to say it was spectacular is understating it. If you want an exotic location without feeling like a tourist this is it. Simply Paradise is a lovely, comfortable home with a postcard view of Chocolate Hole Bay. We very comfortably had 6 adults and two little kids share the 2 upstairs bedrooms and the fully accommodating suite below. The kitchen, spacious living room, sun room and dining area are perfect for a vacation stay. Every morning I was able to brew a fresh pot of coffee, take a cup to the deck and just sit back in a chair with my feet up chilling to the sunrise and the many birds who live in the jacaranda trees by the railing. Cruz Bay has fun restaurants, bars, and fantastic shopping within a 10 minute cab ride from the house and easy walking all around the quaint town, and the beaches of St.John and the nearby BVI are unbelievable ! St. John has a super cool vibe with everything you could want for a relaxing vacation, and Simply Paradise is a place that makes you feel at home in the best vacation spot on the planet ! Finest vacation we've ever had and very much hope to come again!"

  • Best Caribbean Vacation Ever!

"We love the beautiful Stargazer! The villa is lovely! You feel like you are viewing the British Virgin Islands from heaven. The sun rises, sunsets, rainbows, stars and moon still fill my mind with happiness and joy! The Stargazer offers the very best view in the BVI’s!! Daily adventures or complete relaxation…we enjoyed 10 days of paradise! This was our second amazing visit to Stargazer and I cannot wait to start planning our next one. The snorkeling around Great Camano is incredible. I was feeding a pair of full grown file fish! They are supposed to be very shy. I was able to swim very close to them as they were feeding on the natural plants that were floating in Diamond Reef. They continued enjoying their meal right out of my hand! Amazing memory and experience! We boated every day to a new beach or reef and relaxed every night taking in the gorgeous starlit sky! Stargazer is our favorite Caribbean destination!"

  • Awesome, modern, secluded beach house

"This place was the perfect getaway for a family of four who wanted a quiet, secluded place to stay with a beach and coral reef right out the back door. The spacious house is quite modern with air conditioning, electricity, and hot water. There is a large master bedroom with a king size bed, and two smaller bedrooms with queen size beds. There are two large bathrooms, and a washing machine. The furniture is new and is in great condition, and the kitchen is equipped with everything one needs. There are three inflatable rafts for fun in the water, four sets of snorkeling gear (we brought our own though) and a single person sit-on-top kayak and paddle. The back porch is where we spent most of our time relaxing and watching the ocean. The little bay (Cutlass Bay) is fairly well protected but the ocean was still pretty rough (whitecaps) and, at least for the week of June 25-July 2 2016, too rough for kids' first snorkeling experience as they kept getting water in the snorkels. But the more experienced adult snorkeler among us went out every day, twice a day. The visibility was fair to excellent - worse in the afternoon when the surface water heats up and the phytoplankton get thick and turn the water green - but further out from the bay the visibility was consistently good to excellent. There is little boat traffic within the bay so no need for a dive flag. There are large swaths of dead coral, and the coral bleaching is pretty bad where the coral is very shallow, but there is new coral growing, including brain coral, staghorn coral, lots of sea fans and gorgonians, lots of sponges, and while there were few large schools of fish, the diversity was good - we identified over 60 species of fish in our short week there, plus there were many sea turtles although most were too shy to let a snorkeler approach. Interestingly and unfortunately, no moray eels. We drove to Greenwood Resort for lunch one day but discovered they weren't serving, so we drove to Fernandez Bay Resort twice - they have outstanding food and a self-serve bar that is on the honor system - but they are pretty expensive. Lunch for four cost $80 one day and $120 another day. The bay there is on the leeward side of the island and the water was calm enough for the kids to snorkel and swim safely. Issy and Yvonne were great and got us a car rental for much cheaper than one could get anywhere else. Groceries for four people ran around $300 for the week, including wine and beer."
