  • Plenty of room for everyone

"My husband and I have stayed at Point Pleasant in the past but wanted to experience the hill top units. There are wonderful views and it's quieter than being down in the lower units. The hilltop pool is nice and private and has good late day sun. Our college age son was traveling with us this trip so having the extra bedroom was a plus along with 2 bathrooms. The condo is very spacious and has plenty of amenities including towels, kitchen items and dry pantry goods. Some people don't care for the steepness of the resort but personally we don't mind. It's good daily exercise walking up and down to pools and restaurants. We love the nature trails throughout the property as well. The location of Point Pleasant makes it easy to walk over to Margaritaville and Coki Beach for a change of scenery. You can even swim around the break wall and hang on Sugar Bay Resort beach as well. There is really good snorkeling at Sugar Beach at the resort as well although the wind was strong which made the water pretty rough this trip but in the past it's been very good."

  • Beautiful property with stellar ocean and island views

"We stayed at this home for a week over Christmas and can highly recommend it. The owners were super attentive to our needs and the house is clean, updated and well stocked. Having two ensuite master bedrooms worked well for our group plus we had plenty of space to accommodate our teenagers. The wraparound deck provides stupendous views and the hillside location is very quiet and private. We loved the sea breezes, the occasional short rainstorms, and picking fruit from trees on the property. Be prepared for hilly roads and plan enough time to get around the island. It was only about 20-30 minutes from spots like Charlotte Amalie and Magen's Bay Beach. Longer, about 50 minutes, to get to the Red Hook Ferry."

  • Absolutely beautiful home & view!

"We were pleasantly surprised by the above average accomodations of the Villa Gypsea property. Not another home in sight in all directions. Quiet, peaceful, warm. Attention to detail at every turn. The master bedroom upstairs overlooks the ocean in 2 directions, listening to waves on the beach at night is delightful. The dining room, living room and kitchen overlooked the views as well. Kitchen, laundry facilities all up to date. The bathrooms were tiled and gorgeous. We slept in the master bedroom - found the 4 poster bed to be as comfortable as home. Many of the most beautiful beaches were were well within 15 minutes of the property. Traveling about the island is an adventure all in itself - appreciated having the Jeep to get us around. The residents of St Thomas and St John were friendly and helpful. Never once did we feel uneasy or unsafe. We enjoyed the out of the way beaches that we found by accident, watched local surfers at Hull Bay. Magens Bay and Beach is amazing. Took the ferry to St John twice ( once with the Jeep) to explore and went to Virgin Gorda by ferry to the Baths. Amazing once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend the Villa Gypsea. The owners were very attentive to our needs making every attempt to satisfy or answer any questions we might have before/during and after our stay."

  • Great Location and Wonderful Host!

"My girlfriend and I stayed at Pineapple Village for four days. We had a fantastic time. The villa was perfect for what we needed. Our flight home on the last day wasn't until later in the afternoon and we were able to use the villa for the rest of the day. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back. We'll definitely be staying at Pineapple Village again. Thanks Rose!"
