  • Great beginning to Costa Rica visit

"Nohelia greeted us with welcome drinks from the owner of the Condo. That was what started the vacation for me. She was so informative and made the neighbourhood feel safe. The owner keeps a gated well decorated property that is stocked like a hotel and home away from home. Thank you for the great start to visiting your beautiful country! All the best..."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"The house is located in the mountain near the airport. Little bit hard to find the first time, but the owner can get you at the airport. Very nice sightseeing on the central valley. The house was exactly as expected. Lots of space, clean, very safe, nice pool and furnished with all we needed. Good localisation to discover the valley. The owners were helpful and great with us. My family and I loved that place and we will go there if we come back to Costa Rica."

  • One of the Best!

"We spent an amazing three weeks in this beautifully situated house that has spectacular views of the city of San Jose, Vulacos Paos, Turialba, and Arenal as well as the surrounding hills and mountains. At night, it offers a stunning overview of the city lights! Every morning a pair of Toucans and Oropendula birds visited. Another daily visitor was a squirrel who would run up the tree in search of food. The house has all new furniture and cookware. It is located in a small gated community and offers complete privacy. You will find two small groceries stores close by and the town of Atenas is only a 15 min. drive away where there are two large grocery stores and a large food market (Mon – Sat). Another great place is the coffee house called El Balcon de Café, which serves good coffee and cakes in addition to great lunches. Jaco, Herradura, and other beautiful beaches are just a 40 minutes’ drive away. The owner and property manager were easy to work with. We highly recommend this place. It is one of the best vacation spots we've ever had!"

  • Family vacation at the peak of the mountain

"This awesome place served us well. We arrived late in the evening after a lengthy drive from San Jose and woke up to the most impressive view one can ask. The owners are very responsive and the handiman on place is ready to help in a short notice. The activities nearby include Hiking in the jungle, (recommend only with a guide), zip-line, hot springs all within 30-60 minutes drive from the place. Speaking about the drive...highly recommend to have 4X4. This amazing view is only possible from a high point and the last 40 minutes to the house is a dirt road that will put you car and your driving ability to the test. If you arrive at night, the last leg will take you from the lake to the top of the mountain in a 25 degrees slope. The owners did right and placed stones on the road to increase the traction, however, at 3/4 of the way there is a sharp left and the slope increases to about 35 degrees. At that point, in a dark night, your headlights will face the opposite mountain and you need to be careful making that turn. I highly recommend that a nice light reflected sign will point the way, if a lamp post is not available. Adding some guard rails at that point will be great. The rooms are specious and the yard is spectacular. I wish there was a laundry machine too. Overall- it is highly recommended."
