"This beautiful little guesthouse on the top of a mountain, hovering over Orosi village and valley was an incredible choice. Went there with a good friend but it is ideal for a romantic couple looking for some real time off, or a little family, since, in addition to a king size bed, has two beautiful authentic King Edwards mansion single beds on the mezzanine.
Fully operational modern kitchenette, plus the most surrealistic point of view overlooking the mountains and valley, Nancy's gardens and pathways leading to beautiful coffee plants. Real hot water in the shower and jacuzzi tub on the terrace, which we didn't use, but if I came back with my wife, would most certainly do.
Decoration is awesome, full of memorabilia from the couple's numerous travels all over the globe.
Nancy has the most interesting collection of rare tropical flowers and numerous Orchids, you can feel the love she puts into it.
Second terrace even has a barbecue.
Steven and Nancy were very helpful in making our few nights stay the most unforgettable visit of the Orosi Valley. Pointed us to their friend who owns Cafe Christina, a biological coffee farm, where we bought the best coffee imaginable for our trip home. Nancy pointed us to a mirador, or view point, that brought us to discover more, down the valley, visiting pear and other harvests, and ruins of the first colonial church in all of Costa Rica.
With a 4x4, you can head down a steep dirt road directly into Orosi village.
Steven even cooked us little bread buns for our leave.
Great people to talk to, although very discreet when we were in.
Steven has set up a new wifi hub in the guesthouse, so communication lines are clear. Recycling of plastic, metal and paper also organized...
Rent without hesitation, really !
Thank you so much, Steven and Nancy! Hello to your 4 lovely Rottweiler girls !
Pura Vida !!"
