  • "I have found my PARADISE"... 9 year old grandson.

"Our family of eight consisted of two grandparents (mid-60's), three adult kids (late-30's), and three grandkids (11, 9, and 6). We stayed a week at Villa Encantada during the g-kids spring break. Before the trip, the adult kids conferenced and completed an aggressive list of activities (suspension bridges in rainforest, white water rafting, horseback riding, hot springs, rappelling, and zip-lining). Glenn was provided the list and took care of booking the activities. Throughout the pre-trip preparations, Glenn was very helpful with his suggestions and timely responses to our questions. His directions to the Villa were spot on and easy to follow. Upon our arrival, our 9 year old grandson exclaimed, "I have found my Paradise!" And he, along with his brother and sister, made the most of their time at the Villa. They caught (and released) more than a hundred fish out of the backyard pond. They also swam and kayaked in the pond. The pool and waterslide were also a family favorite. We hiked trails and played in the waterfalls. Glen provided great suggestions for places to eat when we chose not to dine-in. The landscaping is spectacular and the peacock put on a daily display for us. When it came time to leave, our 6 year old granddaughter lamented, "Do we have to go back home? Can't we stay here?" We assured her that we would be back on future vacations. -Larry-"

  • Fabulous place to stay

"We arrived late at night and were greeted by a fantastic groundsman who helped us find our unit we had rented. He continued to be there for us throughout our stay - walking us to and from the gate at night as we came and went for dinner etc. The place itself was phenomenal. Excellently decorated, lots of room, the roof top was a nice addition, it has a great restaurant that is walking distance away and a close walk to the beach. So much room! You could have many families stay here which would be so fun for all. The owners were exceptional and helpful with hints and provided extra supplies at the house without asking. There are tons of beach towels and shower towels. The pool was very nice for kids/teens."

  • Beautiful beach house decor in a quiet setting

"Lovely spot a short walk (10 min) to the beach, and use of beach toys available. Well equipped kitchen and unique lovely space. Restaurants are a short walk and a convenience store stocks necessities. Beach is lovely, wide, and great waves. Road in is a bit of a nuisance (typical CR back road) Pool was a bit disappointing, above ground and small deck so we didnt use it much. Sarah and hubby were great to meet us and arrange for activities. Unique setting as it is in a protected turtle nesting reserve."

  • Beautiful!

"We had a wonderful stay in Casa Woodbine. Elmer, the gardner/pool maintenance man was here every morning and kept the pool and patio clean, some days coming twice. Marjorie the house keeper was a true luxury! She even cut a pineapple for us. The house is beautiful but our view magnificent! We are steps from the beach and walked to breakfast or dinner each evening. We loved it here and hope to return!"
